In 2013, UMA applied to attend the School Design Institute, sponsored and hosted by CEE-Trust and Next Generation Learning Challenges (NGLC). I was joined by Jason Jirsa (UMA, robotics, tech, social studies) and Lynn Gay (Mathematics) in San Francisco, 15-18 July. All expenses were paid and the goal was to prepare a Next Generation Learning Challenge grant. The draft is in process and will support the efforts of ‘blended learning’ at UMA.
