The RF50-FR system has been developed to meet the demand created by Architects, Specifiers and Contractors for a precision made product that can meet all the statutory Structural, Fire, Thermal, Acoustic, and Weathering criteria.

Using the most modern CNC bending, laser cutting and routing machinery, with a cutting capacity of up to 9m in length, Spanwall can produce the largest range of sizes of dimensionally accurate metal facade rainscreen panels in the industry.

By continually investing in the latest 2D and 3D CAD and Modelling software systems, Spanwall is able to stay at the forefront of cladding design and development. Spanwall can offer advice and technical back-up to help your design team to fully realise their design concepts.

1. Metsec System or Substrate Wall (by others.)

6. Hooks - fully height adjustable using a Stainless Steel M8 Self-Locking Nut & Bolt.

2. Insulation - Mineral Wool or approved equal (by others.)

7. EPDM Gasket - providing sealing and anti-rattle functions.

3. Wall Fixing (by others.)

8. Rainscreen Cassette Panel with double return folds - incorporating hidden hook slots.

4. Wall Bracket - available in numerous sizes from 60mm - 300mm to allow for large variance in cladding zone depth. Single leg protrusion to reduce thermal bridging /gaps through insulation layer.

9. Infill Strip (optional) - can be coloured to match the Panel face.

10. Thermal Isolator - reducing point thermal transmittance value.

11. Anti-lift Fixing.

Spanwall RF50-FR is a concealed fix, aluminium cassette panel, retained by hooks which are bolted onto extruded aluminium carrier rails, fixed to the structural support wall by adjustable wall brackets, secured with ant-lift screws.

• Spanwall chose the most rigorous test regime, assessing panels sizes much larger than the norm at the largest floor spans and deepest cladding zones practical, to prove that the RF50-FR system is truly fit for whatever configuration you might specify.

• The system can be used effectively on both new build projects and as a re-cladding solution to existing structures.

• Three-dimensional adjustment and wall brackets, available in numerous sizes, makes it possible to deal with irregular building surfaces and introduce feature details.

The use of deeper wall brackets can allow for a range of insulation thickness to meet or exceed the U values required by the current Building Regulations in the UK and Ireland.

All cassettes are made specifically for each contract and can include project specific Copings, Cills, Closers, Window Pods, all carried out to the same high standards.

•

Spanwall also manufacture other detail products such as Louvred Ventilated Panels, Column Castings, Aerofoil Edging, Fins and Soffit Panels, all specific to each project.
