Introduction C.I. United Agency originated from the Columbia College Chicago talent management class of 2016. The agency was founded by Ciara Holloway and Isabella Brown. Our agency seeks to manage film and live performance arts actors, dancers, and models. What makes C.I. United Agency unique is that we’re both very experienced in the fields we plan to manage, and as a result we can form close bonds with our clients giving them tips and pointers (based on experience) when they go out to auditions. Zoe Savransky is the first client represented by C.I. United Agency. Zoe represents our core values and follows what we look for in a potential artist. When Zoe was scouted she had no branding materials, which gave us access to fully develop her as a budding actress. Before signing with C.I United Agency Zoe performed in a couple of plays and two short films. Both C.I. United Agency and Zoe Savransky hope to gain useful knowledge on the values and hard work that goes into becoming a successful manager and client.

Film History Overview Hollywood during the 1970’s was based on making high-action and youthoriented pictures, usually featuring new and dazzling special effects technology. Hollywood’s financial trouble was somewhat alleviated with the then-shocking success of movies like Jaws and Star Wars, which became the highest-grossing movies in film history (at that time). By the end of the 1980’s, it was generally recognized that films of that time were intended for audiences who sought simple entertainment, as most pictures were unoriginal and formulaic. The economic decline of the early 1990’s caused a major decrease in box office revenue. Overall theater attendance was up due to new multiscreen Cineplex complexes throughout the United States. Use of special effects for violent scenes such as car chases and gunfights in high-budget films was a primary appeal for many moviegoers. The 2000’s have been an era of immense change in the movie and technology industries, and more change is sure to come quickly.
