ABOUT BLUE RIDGE SCHOOL AND ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH THE NEW YORK AUXILIARY Blue Ridge School is a private, boys’ school like no other. We are one of the few all-boys, all-boarding schools for grades nine through twelve in the nation. Our curriculum is tailored to an individualized learning model designed specifically for boys on their way to college. Our community is approachable and inclusive. Our campus is filled with adventure. We focus on building men of character, ready to greet college and beyond. And, despite our rigorous and competitive spirit, our environment is uniquely supportive. We have built Blue Ridge School that way for a reason — it’s how boys learn best. All of these things in combination make Blue Ridge School the place where the magic happens. The New York Auxiliary’s support of Blue Ridge School began at the school’s inception 112 years ago. We, at the Auxiliary, raise funds for the promotion and welfare of the school through scholarships, special projects, and capital improvements. We take great pleasure in offering our annual event as both a fundraiser and a “friend raiser,” providing a venue for all friends of the school – alumni, parents, trustees, faculty & staff, and friends in New York and beyond – to gather, enjoy each other’s company, and celebrate the purpose of Blue Ridge School. The Auxiliary’s consistent, unfailing endorsement and financial support are essential elements in Blue Ridge School’s continuing success. The members of the NYA appreciate their many friends in New York and the Blue Ridge Community who have supported their fundraising efforts on behalf of BRS and provided the opportunity for boys from New York to receive a Blue Ridge School education.
