In twenty years, Blue Sky Fibers has grown from one person’s love of alpacas to a worldwide endeavor, way beyond our imagination. And we’re still growing! We now have 20 fiber lines to choose from and nearly 400 color options. We’ve released hundreds of phenomenal patterns, all available around the world. Our twentieth anniversary collection celebrates the yarn that is Blue Sky Fibers. We hope you are as delighted as we are.

In twenty years Linda Niemeyer went from a

young woman with a few soulful-eyed alpacas

to a businessperson with an internationally acclaimed company. Blue Sky Fibers now trades

in exquisite fibers of all kinds from sources both domestic and international, including alpacas from Peru. Her team of talented designers and craftspeople create beautiful patterns and artisan yarns in a variety of organic cotton, wool, silk and of course alpaca.
