Farewell & Welcome
Refugee Elder Program
Look us up on the WEB! www.kyrm.org
With much laughter & cake, but also with sadness for their parting, we celebrated a surprise farewell for our UofL intern Yonqiang and KRM longtime volunteers Glenda & Roger! Each of them have greatly contributed in their own ways to the success of the Program, and we are thankful for having had them share with our Elders and us some of their time, talents and above all their love and compassion! THANK YOU, YONGQIANG, ROGER & GLENDA !
Making the sadness of our parting volunteers less painful, we had the joy of welcoming a new volunteer this month. Ron has just recently joined the Elder program and is faithfully assisting students in Julie’s class, while also putting his Spanish speaking knowledge into practice . WELCOME, AND THANK YOU RON!
