Refugee Elder Program Summer activities
Look us up on the WEB! www.kyrm.org
Our combined Refugee Youth and Elder Art Show was such a successful event! Among displays from younger generations, plenty of drawings and crafts our Elders were working on during the past half year have been exhibited, displaying their enthusiasm to express themselves in multiple ways. Visitors, family members and staff alike enjoyed the colorful expressions! With classes starting again, we had diverse Community speakers and a team from Francis of Assisi school students visiting and engaging the Elders in beautiful ways. The hot temperatures have not kept our Elders from exercising their way into classes, and at the End of the month we had a nice birthday celebration for many of our July jubilants. While at that, we also celebrated two newborns among our teacher team!
