DAY 1 MontRéAl

Arrive in Montréal, where you will have the day to discover the city. Explore its art galleries and local speciality shops, stroll along the water’s edge and enjoy restaurants and cafés along streets that date back to the days of New France.

DAYs MontRéAl - Québec citY

159 miles. The slightly quicker way to drive to Québec City from Montréal is along Highway 20, on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River, although the north shore route along Highway 40 is that bit more scenic.

Once in Québec City, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, explore the narrow cobbled streets which wind steeply between Basse-Ville and Haute-Ville, which is crowned by the magnifi cent Château Frontenac. Alternatively, climb the Casse-Cou staircase or take the funicular connected to the Duff erin terrace, where the Château Frontenac overlooks the St. Lawrence River. Then enjoy a cruise along the river accompanied by an expert local guide.

DAY 3 Québec citY

Enjoy a full day in Québec City at your leisure, exploring the many beautiful museums, historical architecture, designer boutiques and unwinding in Parisian-style cafés.

DAY 4 Québec citY - RivièRe-Du-loup

128 miles. Today’s drive takes you along the St. Lawrence River to Rivière-du-Loup. From the Park of the Luminous Cross you will enjoy a wide-reaching view of the town’s centre, the St. Lawrence and the five islands called Les Pèlerins.

DAY 5 RivièRe-Du-loup - bAie Des chAleuRs

255 miles. Uncover the scenery and maritime lore of the Gaspé Peninsula as you travel to Baie des Chaleurs, which lies at the inlet of the Gulf of St. Lawrence between northern New Brunswick and eastern Québec. Make your way to the top of Mont SaintJoseph and visit the Oratoire Notre-Dame. The Mont-Saint-Joseph regional park offers outdoor activities, with 20 kilometres of mountain bike trails and 30 kilometres of hiking paths.

DAY 6 bAie Des chAleuRs - peRcé

75 miles. Today's journey takes you along the Capitaine Fournier road, where you will be rewarded by an excellent view of the railway tunnel that crosses Cap de l’Enfer – Cape of Hell.

DAY 7 peRcé

Once the largest fishing port in the Gaspé Peninsula, Percé is now the gem of the entire Gaspé as it is surrounded by awe-inspiring natural beauty. Stroll along the boardwalk, and then enjoy the bustle of activities in the village, lined with restaurants and cafés, art studies and boutiques.

DAY 8 peRcé - pARc De lA GAspésie

174 miles. As you pass the eastern most tip of the peninsula, take time to visit Forillon National Park, with towering cliffs and beautiful lighthouses. Continue to the heart of the Gaspé Peninsula, for a wondrous mountainous spectacle in the Parc de la Gaspésie.

DAY 9 pARc De lA GAspésie

This is a day for wildlife lovers! The park is the only place in Québec where caribou, moose and deer co-exist. You can enjoy viewing them as you hike along the 140km of hiking trails with breathtaking views across the park.

233 miles. Today, take a scenic drive into Saguenay. An excellent view of the waters below the Saguenay Fjord is to be had at the town of L’Anse-de-Roche, which is surrounded by majestic landscapes and where the sunsets are unforgettable.

DAY 12 sAGuenAY - lAc st. JeAn

79 miles. Explore Saguenay Provincial Park, with its beautiful landscape along the north and south shores of the Saguenay Fjord. Look out for the dark amber water, a colour caused by the deep (250m) depth.

DAY 13 lAc st. JeAn to sAint-Alexis-Des-Monts

169 miles. This area is well known as being an excellent spot to view bears in their natural habitat, as well as beavers and other enchanting wildlife.

DAY 14 sAint-Alexis-Des-Monts
