 ENG-ECO ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT is formed by joining resources and capabilities of ENG-ECO and A&B AMBIENTE, a company founded in the ’90s to provide environmental engineering services, network services, integrated water cycle services and development of renewable energy sources. Thanks to the experience acquired over the years and the integration of skills and know-how, today ENG-ECO ENVIROMENT DEPARTMENT is able to integrate original missions and provide public and private purchasers with engineering and specialist consulting services, together with a strengthened operational capability as EPC supplier or General Contractor. Its skill in the field of environmental, health engineering and water and energy services allows the company to offer purchasers integrated design solutions, that are able to satisfy every requirement of timeliness and cost-effectiveness.  The definition of significant technical economic parameters, precise working methods and a highly professional coordination of multidisciplinary technical skills allows to obtain complete and feasible projects, with a high technical content and a strict capability to respect costs agreed with purchasers.  Thanks to its long-term experience in:  Regeneration and improvement of run-down industrial areas, soils and lands in the urban and extra urban area;  Design and implementation of actions to protect the environment in cities and lands (conservation, treatment, optimal use of waters 

ENG-ECO GROUP ORGANISATION

 The need to dispose of new areas for regeneration of urban and industrial sites is forcing public and private bodies to activate reclamation and/or safeguarding of lands, buildings, obsolete and/or contaminated plants.  ENG-ECO ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT is able to provide services for the environmental validation of lands addressed to a new urban use and/or to new commercial, tourist or industrial facilities. In order to do this, ENG-ECO ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT is able to provide studies and engineering to establish:  the need of reclamation and environmental rehabilitation operations;  preliminary activities to examine available data and identify basic background information;  planning of evaluation activities;  definition of environmental factors related to the level of risk for human health, natural resources, sensitive environmental receptors, new town planning and settlement functions;  identification of indicator parameters, in particular:  concentrations of chemicals important for their relevant effects on soil and subsoil, toxicity, persistence and environmental mobility;  concentrations of chemicals important for their relevant effect on ground waters and surface waters, toxicity, persistence and persistent environmental mobility;  accumulation and storage of waste and hazardous materials, above ground or buried tanks and reservoirs, soakaways, dispersed waste heaps or stored in containers, pipes or drains;  priority order of reclamation or safeguarding operations;  methods for operations and environmental rehabilitation;  assessment of financial charges;  methods for the disposal of the materials to be removed;  site monitoring and certification after the operation;  All the services provided by ENG-ECO ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT with reference to national and regional legislation give purchasers a precise knowledge of physical, chemical and biological processes "on site" and "in situ", of reclamation costs and time.

SOIL RECLAMATION

WATER TREATMENT  Since water resources are limited by the growing demand from communities, they need to be planned with respect of the natural cycle, with attention to saving and containment of external agents that may alter the quality of water bodies. Therefore, the correct use of water resources has to be integrated with highly efficient water treatment systems, that are able to use clean-up systems compatible with natural processes, with preference for new energy-efficient technologies and the use of biological processes.  In this context, ENG-ECO ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT is able to provide public and private purchasers with the following services: Primary water collection and treatment for supply systems:  Preliminary, final and executive design of water abstraction, treatment and preparation for human consumption of primary surface and ground waters;  Preliminary, final and executive design of water supply system networks and integrated water schemes;  Consulting services for drafting the Industrial Plan of the “Optimal Territorial Ambit” (ATO, Ambito Territoriale Ottimale) designed to plan water resources of territorial ambit;

WASTE TREATMENT  With reference to the complex regulatory framework regarding collection, treatment, recovery and final disposal of solid urban and special waste, hazardous and non hazardous waste, ENG-ECO ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT provides consulting services and analysis of different possible options related to services and plants. ENERGY PRODUCTION FROM RENEWABLE SOURCES  The performance obtained by research and new technologies offer new renewable energy sources that allow production while reducing the use of fossil fuels and combustion processes that release greenhouse gases.  Carbon resources are becoming more and more limited and two pressing problems need to be solved: security of energy supply and environmental impact of energy use.  ENG-ECO ENVIROMENT DEPARTMENT has the suitable know-how to use sources, such as sun, wind, water and biomass, therefore it is at the forefront of development and production of wind energy, hydroelectric and photovoltaic installations using the best and most up-to-date technologies.  Together with engineering services, ENG-ECO ENVIROMENT DEPARTMENT is able to provide and directly manage the entire authorisation process, offering also project technical economic analysis and customer service during the entire project’s bankability.  The activities put into effect by ENG-ECO ENVIROMENT DEPARTMENT in the use of renewable energy sources are:  Technical, regulatory and economic feasibility study with preliminary design, including production chain.  Executive design, drafting of supply specifications, detailed installation estimate.  Supply of installations, including transport, material storage, supervision of works, safety coordination and user connection.  Performance testing and checking.  After-sales services and training of installation managers.  Remote monitoring of energy production and component diagnostics.

 Construction  ENG-ECO offers E.P.C plants, so that the Client does not have to worry about production and installation problems. ENG-ECO always ensures a high quality standard, thanks to the technical know how acquired by its personnel, mainly in the production of package plants for fluid/gas treatment and Well Control panels.  Installation  If required, ENG-ECO carries out the installation of plants and machinery built and/or designed on the basis of the client needs and in full respect of agreed times. ENG-ECO personnel devoted to this activity is highly experienced in the shipbuilding sector and is also able to work under extreme conditions.

 Technical supervision  ENG-ECO corporate structure is designed to fully satisfy clients, moreover offering solutions to possible problems regarding operational control of the client activity. Pollution control and waste treatment, even harmful-toxic, with Plasma Torch with high energy recovery and / or products with high added value. The use of the plasma torch is recommended in all areas where there is a strong presence of harmful heavy metal pollution. It will be applied in drilling directly into the ground, to heal instantly polluted soil in depth without the need to remove huge amounts of land, dangerous for the operators of construction equipment. A use in site, with generation of temperatures of thousands of degrees in boreholes in depth, only about 6 inches wide therefore inexpensive, is a unique prerogative of the plasma torch, can not to any other system.
