order of operations: turn the BOARD ON - then turn the amp racks on! turn the AMPS OFF - then turn the board off!

there are two power outlets for the two racks, one on each side of the stage. each outlet box houses two power sources. only use the top outlets to power the racks!!!!

Advanced Board

for beginning sound techs, the following sections may hurt you more than help you. however, as you get more comfortable with running sound, it will benefit you to test out the gate, compressor and equalizer.

Gate - green section

gate only lets sound through at a certain loudness -- good for drum kits

Comp - green section

compressor helps to cap the loudness of channels -- good for singers
