NEW BRANDS

WHAT’S NEXT FriendZSpace FriendZSpace is a new animated comedy (52 x 11´, CGI, Kids 5-9) about three human kids committed to making friends with alien kids. The series merges wild adventure and character-driven comedy with actionpacked stories. It carries with irreverence and fun important values: Different Is Good, Friendship, Teamwork... Currently in production, available in 2022, it will be featured at MIPCOM 2021. FriendZSpace is TV, action figures, vehicles, and exciting sci-fi kid-tech! It’s kid cosplay with full-sized action-music BotDog, branded stickers and emojis, hand held Friendicators with alien and kid projection and sound FXs, plus over 100 individual alien characters from over 30 alien species!

Vegesaurs Packed with action and comedy, Vegesaurs is a fresh new animated series (20 x 5’, CGI) that is highly entertaining! Currently in preproduction, it will be available in 2022. Vegesaurs are vegetable and fruit-shaped dinosaurs, such as the lead character Ginger, a young Tricarrotops (carrot). The series transmits relatable themes for upper pre-schoolers like mealtimes, getting to sleep, sharing, friendship, nurturing and play. There is already strong interest from various broadcasters; the program is perfect as shortform content for digital platforms and AVOD distribution. Content addresses multiple execution layers e.g. collectability, publishing, plush, gaming.

MAYA THE BEE

A BEE-LOVED GLOBAL BRAND WITH A MISSION Maya the Bee is an evergreen global property bee-loved by three generations and sending a strong message: BEE AND NATURE PROTECTION, FOR SUSTAINABILITY! Recently Studio 100 Media has signed a fashion collaboration with well-known Danish sports brand hummel for Maya the Bee for the German-speaking territories, Nordics and France. The first apparel collection will hit the stores under the hummel KIDS label in May 2022, with three more exciting collections planned over the following 18 months. Publishing/games projects are currently in development with Simbat in Russia. In Poland, a brand new licensing initiative is developed:

a new short form video educational content with dancing/singing involving a Polish record label and many local artists. For the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Ceska Televize is the latest distribution partner to join the Maya family. The most important initiative is Project Poppy Meadow. Launched in 2018 by Studio 100 Media, featuring Maya the Bee as an ambassador for biodiversity conservation, focussing on showing families the often so simple ways to protect insects. 100% WOLF

100% wolf Born from beloved children’s books of Australian Author Jayne Lyons, 100% WOLF has gained international popularity thanks to the movie, currently successfully on release all over the world, and the TV series.

The protagonist is a poodle with a pink mane in a world of werewolves and with this brings not only the recognizable challenge of the ‘fish out of water’, but in addition he is the future pack leader and expected to be the very best of his kind, no matter his outward form. Set up with a huge problem to solve across the series, his story takes off as a part mystery, part drama and always comedic. The film has achieved excellent recognition

in European countries and England, and at awards such as Rockie Awards Nominee 2021 @Banff World Media Festival (Category: Animation Youth). And the TV series 100% Wolf - Legend Of The Moonstone (26 x 22 min, target 6-10) has won 3 Telly Awards 2021, the AEAF Gold Award 2021 - TV Series Children in Australia and above all by receiving a sale to nearly 100 countries. The series was launched on Sept. 30th 2021 on SUPER RTL Germany and in September the international Youtube channel was born, and the Season 2 is in development. Licensed products launched in Germany yet are Movie Magazine and Series Magazine (Blue Ocean Entertainment), Audioplay (Sony Music / Europa), Movie Book (Ravensburger), Shirts & bags (Spreadshirt), Tonie Box, tonies (Boxine) – launch early 2022.

MIA AND ME

GIRL POWER Mia, the strong heroine in Centopia world, is already a role model for many girls.

The overall goal is to establish “Mia and me” as the children’s known GIRLS EMPOWERMENT brand ambassador with a focus on girls’ education, also thanks to social media.

The feature film The Hero of Centopia and the 4th season are currently in production, the movie will be completed by end of 2021, the new season will be ready for delivery mid 2022. So far, the first three seasons of the series have been sold to more than 170 countries. The feature film brings many new characters - such as Stormy – a new unicorn. With the fourth season, there will also be a new look to the artwork, with new basic colors of Mia and me, namely pastel petrol and apricot. In Brazil, the free TV launch of the successful series was supported by a marketing and social media campaign in collaboration with Studio 100 Media’s assigned local license agency Brandhouse Licensing. The agency is also working on a broad range of licensed products including toys, apparel and publishing.

HEIDI

A CLASSIC WITH A GREEN TOUCH The TV-Series Heidi is sold to more than 170 countries, with core themes of living with nature, optimism and altruism.

Outdoor is a trend: for 2021 and beyond, the outdoor segment is growing strongly! After the Corona lockdowns, people are pushing back into nature - into the mountains - and that’s also where Heidi is at home. Licensed classics with a positive message as well as a great outdoor reference are now perfectly suited for corresponding products. Studio 100 Media is in talks with various potential partners to launch corresponding products on the market. Heidi and important licensees such as Playmobil or Zapf Creation want to extend their presence in new markets, such as France, Italy, Poland. Since Q3-2021 Heidi Tonies are available in France.

The first CGI movie adventure is currently in development (completion in 2023, launch in 2024), produced by Studio 100 Media, Flying Bark Productions and Animationsfabrik. Studio 100 Film will be responsible for international distribution. The feature film will tell a whole new story about Heidi and her life in the Alps, while retaining everything that makes Heidi so unique: the personality of this cheerful girl, the breathtaking scenery and the heart-warming stories. Among the initiatives of the 45th TV anniversary (Germany) in 2022 is a big raffle for a large Heidi Playmobil figure (a real collector’s item for fans!) - and further activities in print and online, also with partners such as Ravensburger and Blue Ocean Entertainment.

VIC THE VIKING

VIC GOES GLOBAL Vic the Viking – The Magic Sword, the first CGI feature film is on release in movie theaters around the world since 2020 (sold to more than 200 countries). group kids 4-7 years, those shows are already attracting toddlers up to 3 years. For older kids, a live action TV series is in development, in collaboration with German studio Rat Pack Filmproduktion. Under the premise of “clever solutions”, Studio 100 Media is working on new concepts around food & nutrition for Vic. A lot will happen here in the coming years, in time for the 50th TV anniversary in 2024. There are current food products from PCO, Rotstern and Tortenbild. In July 2021, the cookery book “44 Favorite Recipes” from publisher “meine Familie & ich” (Burda) was available at food retail in Germany. The fan magazine is published by Blue Ocean Entertainment; tonies are also available.

Both the film and the series, transport timeless values and the core message “Clever solutions - use your brain, not your fists!”. As for Maya the bee and Heidi, Vic the Viking builds on a 3-generation effect regarding the target groups, since parents/grand-parents already enjoyed the classic series back in the 70ies, and along with the primary target

SESAME STREET

THE GERMAN APPROACH TO A US CLASSIC BRAND In July 2021, Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit media and educational organization behind Sesame Street, has named Studio 100 Media as its licensing agent in Germany and German-­speaking territories. Current license partners in GSA are Puma, Lego, Spreadshirt, Santex, Erve, Swafing, NICI, Logoshirt, Nastrovje, Parlasca, MDM, Güldenpfennig, H&M, Tonies, Himmel & Erde.

Studio 100 will manage consumer products for Sesame Workshop’s flagship German brand Sesamstrasse including special brand activations and retail events. Sesamstrasse is a coproduction with Germany’s public broadcaster NDR. The brand is seen as the no. 1 educational, trusted and nostalgic brand in Germany, with up to 5 Sesamstrasse characters continuously among the top 15 most popular characters in GSA. Sesame Workshop’s mission is to help kids grow smarter, stronger and kinder!

A STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP Studio 100 Media has taken over the licensing for some promising and well-known IPs from the Mediatoon portfolio for the coming years, in selected territories. Yakari* is the first adventure comic book for kids (3-7 years). 41 titles published since 1973, with more than 5 million copies sold worldwide, translated in 20 languages. The Series (156 x 13’, 5 seasons) is on broadcast in 23 countries, the #1 youth series on Netflix. A feature film sold to more than 50 countries, more than 45 licensees in Europe, Musical, more than 260.000 units of Yakari tonies sold to date.

Beyblade is a proven, awardwinning successful global franchise phenomenon, born from the popular manga.

NASA has phenomenal awareness and a constantly high media presence due to its ongoing missions.

Season 5 is on air in 2021 (26 x 22’) and the new season 6 is coming in spring 2022. The absolute cult brand has a global YouTube presence, with over 2.7 million subscribers. The dedicated app has 43 million users, in over 90 countries worldwide. For 2021’s 20th anniversary, a marketing campaign was implemented through merch giveaways, social media, special anniversary merch on sale through Amazon, and many other initiatives. It has Hasbro as master toy partner and an upcoming QSR promotion with QUICK in France in 2022.

Studio 100 Media can officially offer the NASA logo, logos and other images of the current Mars mission as well as many other graphic elements for licensing in Germany and Benelux. The focus lies on the categories Apparel, Home Textiles, Accessories, Backto-School, Gift, Games, Puzzles and selected Publishing products. NASA has confirmed that the first woman astronaut will land on the moon in late 2024-2025. This is a global historic event that should impact merchandise for young girls, teens, and adult women!
