FLIES TO THE CINEMA OMP STARS ON THE BIG SCREEN IN “RUSH”, THE "ORIGINAL" SUITS OF JAMES HUNT AND NIKI LAUDA, WORN IN THE MOVIE RUSH, THE LASTEST WORK OF OSCAR-WINNING® DIRECTOR RON HOWARD Rush was filmed in the United Kingdom, Germany and Austria and was released worldwide to the public in September 2013. An important feature film that goes thru the day to day world of the Formula 1 Racing, sign of the historicity and technical reputation of our brand which is ready to celebrate with RUSH the forty years of Motorsport. OMP was chosen because is the only company in the world that can boast of a complete line of products and accessories dedicated to vintage racing styles, the result of the experience and know-how that the company has accrued alongside some of the greatest champions who have written the history of automobile racing. In order to create the products used in the film, OMP paid particular attention to details and stylistic aspects while researching thoroughly historic documents and archives. The result was a reproduction as faithful as possible of the clothing worn by drivers at the time, those who were the protagonists of epic challenges on the most prestigious tracks in the world. Special attention was paid to the colors to faithfully reproduce the period correct racing suits and safety equipment used by the teams’ drivers in the ‘70s, OMP’s attention to detail is evident in some of the features reproduced on the racing suits worn in the film, including the name and the logos of the various period sponsors. All those details that were (and still are) embroidered by the craftsmen at OMP’s manufacturing headquarters.

To help drivers reduce body temperature and improve their performance, OMP has designed a range of underwear and breathable clothing.

The OMP ONE line suits (OMP 40 YEARS, ONE EVO, ONE-S and TECNICA EVO) have breathable inserts in strategic areas where the perspiration is more intense. The inserts ability to cool is enhanced when worn with the OMP ONE breathable underwear.

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR HANS® DEVICE To choose the appropriate size and model of Hans® device, it is necessary to measure your neck size and determine the angle of your seating position. A line of tyre warmers available in 4 different standard sizes, offering greater versatility across a wider range of tyre sizes and now available in two types: with a standard temperature control thermostat or with a central electronic temperature control box.

Tyre warmers models with a Standard Temperature Control Thermostat allows the tyre surface to reach 70/80 °C. The time required to reach this temperature is depends on ambient temperature, tyre dimensions and operating conditions.

Interior: Nomex®. Exterior: Cordura® which improves transpiration allowing moisture to escape away from the tyre. Electrical cables and connectors are compliant with EEC electrical standards.
