On the line up was Parisian born Mondkopf, bringing his own brand of dark deep house with a penchant for the epic, and headlining was DJ/ Producer and French pop starlet Yuksek. MUSIC PREVIEWS
MUSIC PREVIEWS One of the joys of living in this town is the number of good venues who swim against the tide and at no other time of year do we need them more than now. Whilst we have our batch of mediocre venues let us celebrate our diversity and thank all those great promoters out there for providing so much fantastic stuff for lovers of music to get out and hear. This upcoming couple of months is a veritable odyssey of fine music in fine venues and it’s almost hard to know where to start so I guess at the beginning would be the best option. By Brad Middleton

LAETITIA SADLER Next up is a wholly different kind of offering – LAETITIA SADLER, her of Stereolab fame, is coming to town to play what I’ll guess will be mainly her solo material which I admit to not having heard yet but if it is anything like her band then expect sublime, magisterial noise with French influences a plenty. She’s playing the Green Door on January 13th.
LEE ‘SCRATCH’ PERRY A bona fide legend is our next visitor and one who seems to be enjoying coming here as i remember he played here last at this year’s Festival. This time round LEE ‘SCRATH’ PERRY, for it is the master of Jamaican dub/reggae that we are talking about now, isn’t playing the big concert hall but the relatively intimate surroundings of our wonderful Concorde 2 in what should surely be an early contender for gig of the year.
ROOTS MANUVA The Concorde 2 does seem to be the place to go this week for gigs as within the next five days there are also appearances from the often-derided but actually pretty damn good post-rock instrumentalists EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY (Jan 28th) and one of the leading lights of the UK hiphop scene ROOTS MANUVA on January 31st. Now that ain’t a bad way to start 2012 is it?? Trust me, there is a lot more coming soon too! Get out there and
MUSIC REVIEW
YOUNG ELECTRICS With the seemingly millions of hours of music being released every single nano-second, it’s a difficult task to filter out the good from the garbage. So it was a pleasant surprise when we were alerted to the existence of Brighton/London indie-rock band Young Electrics.
Sadly not named after the Las Vegas neon sign manufacturer, these four bright-eyed youngsters are brimming with potential. They’ve just completed constructing their very own studio and seem all set to take the music scene by storm next year. It’s evident, just from the demo tracks that we’ve heard, that these lads are fantastic musicians, but it’s not going to hinder your cause with the late, great Gary Moore’s son Gary taking responsibility for guitars. The rest of the band, Tom Doyle on vocals, Felix Crowhurst on drums and Ed Pearman on bass, certainly don’t suffer artistically from their lack of rock-god genes though.

MUSIC REVIEW
JESSIE J VS KATY B Both were born a few months apart and both are graduates of the BRIT school. Each have chosen to give themselves abbreviated monikers and each has received numerous plaudits over the past year. So when Katy B and Jessie J played Brighton within three days of each other, it was the perfect opportunity to compare and contrast. By Gary Marlowe Where they performed said a lot about their relative success, but how they performed said even more. It was Halloween at the Dome, so Katy donned a cute witches hat and black lipstick. Despite making an effort to stand out, her lack of charisma meant when she was alongside her two backing singers she simply blended in. The truth is, her debut album is actually quite good, but on stage she’s rather anonymous and her vocals become gratingly repetitive. Musically, her ultra short set was dominated by a massive drum sound that overpowered the subtlety of the recorded versions. All n all, despite the video screen and the twin level stage, it was a less than bewitching performance by an artist who was as short on star quality as she was on stature. Two days later, at the Brighton Centre things were very different. From the moment she took the stage, Jessie J oozed star quality: she connected with her audience and she showed that vocally she was in a different league to most of her contemporaries, Katy B included. Curiously, with one less musician on stage, the sound was not only bigger, but far better. Indeed, it was one of the best I’ve heard at the Centre. The lighting was also far superior, aided by not one, but two follow-spots. And Jessie J was always in the spotlight. Unlike many similar artists, she didn’t rely on dancers, video screens or costume changes to put on a show. The truth is, she didn’t need them. This was the last date of her UK tour and it was clear she was enjoying herself immensely. The sold out audience was too and few needed Miss Cornish’s encouragement to “dance your asses off!” At one point, she sang an entire song sitting on the edge of the stage because she literally couldn’t stand up. Another time, during ‘Technology’ she asked everyone to put their camera phones away so the song wouldn’t be seen on YouTube. “This is the darkest the room has ever been” she exclaimed. For a brief while, it probably was, but the enduring memory of those who were there was they were in the presence of one of the UK’s brightest rising stars. A few days later, in Belfast, Jessie J was performing at the MTV EMA’s and giving a heartfelt eulogy to Amy Winehouse. Katy B was there too, but she was playing the aftershow. She may be on a mission, but the truth is Jessie J is so much more accomplished.

ANGEL FOOD BAKERY It’s not just the taste, it’s the care that goes into them. The most incredible, mouth-wateringly delicious cakes are given birth to upon the worktops of Angel Food Bakery. By Deborah Fairfield
12 brighton square, brighton
You wouldn’t know whether to eat them or put them on the wall. Sweet, exciting, colourful and unique: baked with an obvious adoration for cookery and topped with a creative flare that goes beyond your typical icing on the cake. The eye-catching culinary skill of the swirly buttercream crowned with sprinkles, chocolate flakes and miniature roses makes passers-by stop at the window to take pictures. For Hannah Davis, it’s just a typical day at work. Situated in the heart of The
22
Lanes, it’s clear that the bakery boasts the finest cupcakery in Brighton and beyond. Lucky for us, there’s Angel Food kitchen; a workspace for those eager to learn tricks of the trade from the expert herself. Perfect for bakers of all backgrounds and abilities (usually I’m a beans on toast kind of girl) the baking and decorating classes take you through all the steps you need to get a dessert that says more than just ‘scoff me’. One of thirteen on offer, the Cupcake Baking and Décor class offers a unique insight
into the culinary work that goes into each delicious cupcake. Sharing secret, inside info behind the baking process, we learnt how to create the perfect sponge mix and buttercream frosting, before Hannah took to the cupcake-stage to show us how it’s really done, décorwise. Dunking her knife into the pink coloured buttercream, she turns the cupcake 360 degrees beneath the frosting before a quick flick of the wrist creates the buttery twirl on top: pure excellence. Presented with 12 nude cupcakes, it was time for me to dress them. Intimidated…? Of course not. With Hannah on hand for your every need, there’s no way my frosting was going to avalanche. Filling the piping bag with peanut butter flavoured frosting, it was easy to follow her instructions and recreate one of the swirl patterns she had demonstrated. Choosing from the generous assortment of toppings in front was more than just good old fashioned fun. Bringing out creativity in each of us, it was clear that the entire class was lost in some kind of cupcake heaven. From the crunchy texture of red, yellow and blue stars to a sprinkling of glitter on top, I really had no idea what I was doing before I entered her class. Walking out with 12 mounted cupcakes, each a marvel in itself, was an achievement not to mention a conversation starter carrying them across town. From cupcake décor to ‘fluff’ whoopie pies, the Angel Food Bakery really does open the door to some of the most beautiful baking in Brighton. Now, where to put my edible works of art, in my tummy or on the wall?

LITTLE BAY RESTAURANT The Little Bay restaurant is a recent edition to the Brighton eatery scene, offering something remarkably different from the usual Italian or Fish and Chips. by emily sneyd The restaurant is attached to the Umi hotel on Brighton’s seafront and offers its diners a theatrical experience two nights a week where professional opera singers serenade the whole restaurant. The restaurant, which seats 150 people, is fully decked out in baroque-style furnishings to suit the vision of its owner, Peter Ilic, who had a cosy, romantic and sophisticated atmosphere in mind for his diners. Little Bay prides itself on offering people what it calls ‘modern European bistrostyle food’, for very reasonable prices. A threecourse meal before 7pm will cost you just £11.50 and after 7pm, just over £15, which is undeniably, good value for money. Some of the starter choices include warm salad of honey-glazed goats cheese, moules marinières and choux de crab and some of the main course offerings are confit leg of duck, roasted salmon fillet and vegetable moussaka. While the menu sounds pretentiously impressive, you do get what you pay for at Little Bay - i.e. fairly average food. The dishes are presented well and there’s a good selection to suit most tastes but the finished product is a little disappointing. For example, the confit of duck is tasty but the ‘noodles’ that come with it are, in fact, spaghetti (which is a little cold) that comes
24
in a honey-ginger sauce that doesn’t really compliment the duck. The choux de crab, which is a sort of hard profiterole with dark sweet crab meat in it, is just fairly bland and a bit of a bizarre combination of ingredients. However, the steak I had was pleasantly surprising - it arrived exactly how I like it and although I had to order chips as a side dish, at £7.95 for a steak, it’s hard to complain. The saving grace of the place, though, are the deserts. Please try the delicious white chocolate and pistachio parfait which is simply melt in the mouth, or go with a classic - profiteroles - which are jazzed up with a yummy banana cream. If you like mixing things up every now and then, then visit on a Wednesday or Friday when the Opera nights are on. You won’t be able to hold on to a conversation with your dinner companions as it gets very loud, but the singers are incredibly talented and there’s a very festive, jolly ambience which is quite contagious. And try to get balcony seats if you can, to observe the action from above and enjoy your meal away from the hubbub of the rest of the restaurant. THORNE’S FOOD A fresh haven for food lovers has risen up in Brighton’s buzzing north laine to bring the local, fresh food of a farmers market to the busy urbanites in the heart of the City. by emily sneyd The charming three storey building on Upper gardener street, formally an antiques market, comprises a food shop on the ground floor and a café restaurant on the top. The shop is deliciously laid out with stacks of culinary treats in every direction – there is everything you might need in an everyday shop, from meats, cheeses and bread, to wine, beer and pantry products. Thorne’s prides itself on sourcing its products locally wherever possible to ensure the freshest and best tasting ingredients which mean that the groceries on offer are usually the pick of the season. At the moment, apples are in season so there are numerous juicy -looking varieties to choose from, and even the carrots and broccoli look attractive! Certainly a long way from the drab, tasteless choices from the supermarket. Jason Hurwitz, the owner, personally tastetested his way around Sussex to pick the best suppliers. Thorne’s try to skip the distributors where they can and deal with farms directly so that the gap between the shop and the plate is that much smaller. The meat comes from Thorne’s own butchery which is run by the Westdene butchers of Westdene who are experts in all things meat so if you have a query about choice or cut, they’re the people to ask. The wine rack is most definitely worth a peruse with its wide selection of English wines, including the prizewinning Pinot Blanc from Pulborough. My personal indulgence, the bakery section, has a selection of breads from local bakery Flint owl,
26
who deliver warm and heavenly-smelling sourdoughs, bloomers and seeded breads every day. Locality is key for Thorne’s but it isn’t a hard and fast rule and they love to tickle the sophisticated tastebud by stocking some international delicacies such as the South African Biltong which is a cured beef. The café upstairs is the place where all the goodies from the store downstairs are transformed into scrumptious breakfasts and lunches, and into a more intimate restaurant menu on Friday and Saturday evenings. The menu changes all the time according to what the seasons have to offer and you can enjoy your meal whilst looking over Brighton’s wonderful skyline Don’t mistake Thorne’s for being a pretentious and expensive ‘everything must be organic’ type place – Most things are very good value and even beats the supermarket price on many products. And even if you’re on a diet it’s worth a visit - the original flooring and beautiful wooden beams make it a lovely place to potter round on a lazy Saturday morning, and there’s a small gallery section on the second floor displaying local art. The store is open from 9.30am to 8.30pm and the café will serve breakfast from 9.30-11.30 until they start serving for lunch again at 12pm. The restaurant is open from 6 to 10pm on Friday and Saturday evening. For more information visit the website at www. thornesfoods.co.uk. 39 UPPER GARDNER STREET, BRIGHTON.

SNOWBOMBING 2012 ‘Piste And Happiness!’ Ski season is with us again, and one of the biggest attractions on the European slopes is the mammoth Snowbombing Festival. Taking place over 9th-14th April 2012, this radiculous event consumes nearly the entire lovely town of Mayrfofen, Austria, in a frenzy of pistebased hi-jinks, music and exuberance.
This year the World’s Greatest Show on Snow is proud to welcome the World’s most (in)famous rapper - the one and the only Snoop Dogg. The hip-hop icon, pop culture phenomenon, interstellar twitterer (with 2.5 million doggy disciples) and star of TV and film, is bringing his skills to Snowbombing. Snowbombing Founder Gareth Cooper says: “After The Prodigy played the amazing forest venue last year, we were nervous about how we could at least match the experience. But in Snoop we have one of the most perfect acts in the world.”
28
Snowbombing will continue their practice of providing only the very best live bands for your snow-based enjoyment. Previous years have seen the likes of The Prodigy, De la Soul and Madness all tearing up the stage. Alongside the DoggFather will be U.S. hip hop supremo’s and legendary live act; the pioneering Jungle Brothers. Also wowing the masses will be: Example, DJ Shadow, Groove Armarda’s phenomenal Redlight AV DJ show and The Vaccines amongst others.
DJ’s on the roster include: Chase and Status, Wretch 32, Labrinth, Zane Lowe, Crookers, Tenshake, Seth Troxler DJ Yoda, Mr Scruff, James Zabiela and there’s going to be a very special Fatboy Slim Street Party. This is going to be a very hectic weekend. With a capacity of just 5000 people in one of the most unique locations and beautiful locations for a festival in the world, this is the indemand festival on the calendar.
As one of the largest and most highly regarded resorts in the world Mayrhofen is completely taken over for a week long party of hedonistic adventure and extreme sport. The resort also boasts some of Europe’s most lavish spas so you can relax and enjoy the amazing spring sunshine and snowy mountains of one of Europe’s most snow-sure, late season winter resorts. The nearby Tux glacier (Austria’s highest liftserved point) is also only a short bus ride away, and although open all-year round, it’s at its best in spring.
Prices start from £289 for accommodation and all the entertainment. So don’t be shy, secure your place at the World’s greatest and wackiest show on snow. By Stuart Rolt www.snowbombing.com/en

BOHO GARDEN Located on Kensington Gradens, arguably the city’s most cosmopolitan and colourful street, Boho Garden provides a huge range of goods for anybody looking for something exotic or out of the ordinary. By Stuart Rolt
Although concentrating predominantly on Moroccanmade items this flourishing business also deals in things of beauty from across the whole North African region. “It started because I travel a lot to Morocco. I’ve got another business that deals in leather goods over there,” explains owner Alistair Terry. “So I was always building in my head this new shop. I kept seeing all these beautiful things that were making me go: “Wow!”.” “We go and meet the people that actually make the pieces. We’ve actually designed a lot of the things we sell, instead of just buying them off the shelf.” This veritable treasure trove of unique and wonderful items on offer includes textiles, fine leather goods and a range of amazing Berber rugs. The shop not only pays a reasonable price direct to the craftsman that produces their stock, but also elects to sell this stock at a sensible price. “I can’t see myself not being involved with Morocco and developing things for people over there,” says Alistair. “I wouldn’t call it exactly fairtrade, but we are aware that we are providing an income for around 15 families.” Check out the wonders of Boho Garden found at 38 Kensington Gardens, Brighton. CULTURE: FILM
FILM GUIDE For virtually as long as I can remember, film has been a big interest of mine. As a child, my dad would often take me to what he called the pictures; Maidstone’s Granada cinema being a regular haunt, where, as well as the likes of Star Wars and James Bond films, I’d be treated to insightful magazines such as Photoplay and Film Review. By Wayne Imms
I’d always been interested in behind the scenes; the making of films had always fascinated me. In recent years, my passion for film had grown even more. My experience of contributing to and producing radio programmes, including documentaries for Radio 2 and The Geekend, my weekly show for Brighton’s Radio Reverb, has seen me interviewing many names from film, such as Wallace and Gromit creator Nick Park, actress Sigourney Weaver, film director Alan Parker and the actor Jeremy Irons. Back in the mid nineties, I was lucky enough to attend the BAFTA Film Awards, complete with a hired tuxedo, in which, after stowing away on a VIP coach, I rubbed shoulders with the likes of Kate Winslet and the late Nigel Hawthorne. Anyway, I’ll stop the name-dropping; well, at least for a couple of sentences. Each month in this fine magazine that’s currently within your grasp, I’ll be giving my humble opinions on some of the latest film releases, interviewing various film figures, and filling you in on the current goings on within the world of film. I’ll also be covering local filmmaking community. As you may know, Brighton has a plethora (one of my favourite words) of film related talent, organisations, from Lighthouse to the Brighton Filmmakers Coalition, as well as top venues, such as the marvellous Duke of York’s cinema. Over the last couple of years, I’ve had the honour of organising a few sell-out events at the Duke of York’s. These have tended to mark anniversaries of popular films, from Alien to Raiders of the Lost Ark. After screening these films, we’ve presented interviews with
34
key people who helped make them, such as editors and art directors. Of these events, a highlight for me was A Movie Music Master Class with the composers David Arnold (Casino Royale, Independence Day) and Anne Dudley (The Crying Game, The Full Monty). I’ve organised these events with The Space (Southern Performance and Creative Energies), an organisation I founded back in 2006. As well as the film ones, we hold regular events at Komedia. Each one has two interviewees from virtually every area of the creative industries. It seems that we now have more film related guests than any others. All of the above reflects my aim to document an interest which I’m particularly passionate about. www.thespace.uk.com

My regular reader has complained. It has been noted that I no longer report regularly on the goings on at the Latest Music Bar - BiG i AM’s unofficial office (well, if it was official, we’d be asked to pay rent!). Have I been censored, I hear you ask?
THE DIRT
WITH MARK EDE
Well, no, truth is I’ve been keeping my head down in bar area (where the Kit Kats reside) and rarely venture upstairs to their office, so I’ve not been so plugged in to the gossip. Yes, I do hear Jeff and Ruth, the owners ,bickering like an old married couple from time to time on their fag breaks (their relationship is indeed like a typical marriage - they argue a lot but like each other really and no sex is involved) and I haven’t seen party organiser Emma for ages. Rumours that she’s been sacked or perhaps been admitted to rehab are, I’m certain, very wide off the mark, interesting theory though this may all be. I shall try harder in future to keep my ear to the ground (who came up with this ridiculous saying?) and report accordingly! Meanwhile, having recently extolled the virtues of the Ropetackle (and no they aren’t a client! - I try not to mention clients in this
36
column on the basis that we want to keep our clients!) I’m somewhat shocked to learn they may be under threat from withdrawal of funding. However, I’m equally pleased to report that their campaign to find 200 kind people to donate £100 has been a big success, and as I write they have met their target, and then some. Campaign backers include Sir Tim Rice, who has donated £500, local performance poet Attila The Stockbroker, who has also donated £500, plus MP Tim Loughton and author Peter James. It really is a superb community facility so it’s very pleasing to see the encouraging support from both near and far. Indeed, I must also mention a charity gig there on Friday 2nd December, organised by locally based South African singer Sam Horwill. Sam’s Christmas Stocking featuring some great acts and some lovely auction/ raffle prizes, in aid of Martlets
Hospice. Please try and lend your support for this great cause. Finally, I’m delighted to hear that Radio Reverb has been awarded a renewal of their FM licence for a further 5 years. Like the City it serves, Reverb can be a bit erratic and eccentric, but it is well loved and, at its best, it’s as good as anything on the airwaves (some of its specialist shows are as good as the BBC at its best - truly!). Moreover it really supports the local community, not least local musicians, so champagne - well, brown ale, at least - all round, say I! They are holding a ‘Reverbathon’ on 3rd/4th December which, to me, sounds like an excuse for one big 24 hour party! Get involved www.radiore verb. com Till then, dear reader, have a good one.... and if you want to drop me a line feel free... it’s mark@bigiam.co.uk or twit me @markede1. (Innit?)
TORTURE GARDEN
“Naughty And Nice...”
If you were asked to name one of the World’s biggest and longest established club brands, I’m guessing Torture Garden wouldn’t be at the top of your list – but with TG recently celebrating its 20th Birthday, and with events running from Edinburgh to Montreal, and Rio to Brighton, it really ought to be... As traditionally fetish themes find their way into the mainstream – designers using latex and bondage styles in couture collections, artists from Rhianna to Paloma Faith wearing them. TG goes from strength to strength, but remains a distinctly nonmainstream experience. The strictly enforced dress code, subtle but credible security and the excellent self policing nature of the crowds all help to keep it a party for people who are serious about enjoying themselves, but never at the expense of others. It also helps to make TG one of the safest and friendliest events around;
it’s not for everybody, but if it’s your thing it doesn’t get much better. January 21st sees TG make a long awaited return to Brighton, after a year away; the club’s absence being solely down to lack of a suitable venue. With the opening of Psychosocial in Morley Street (the site of Ocean Rooms) following a total change of ownership, new management and an excellent refurbishment the problem was solved; in fact TG were one of the first events booked in following the club’s opening. Details of the performers at the January party are still being finalised, but we can reveal that
legendary New York DJ LARRY TEE will be headlining; his amazing style and technique work perfectly with TG’s crowds, and his history and experience make him an equally good match for Brighton. If there ever was an event/DJ combination that suits our city, this is it... So what can you expect if you go to TG Brighton? Amazing outfits, fantastic music, great performances, a friendly crowd and the chance to be whatever or whoever you want to be for the night. It’s definitely not for the prudish, and it’s definitely not for the camera happy (cameras and camera phones are strictly banned) though there are official photographers at all events. It is for nonjudgemental, attitude free, party people with open minds; if that sounds like you, head for Psychosocial on January 21st – and we’d advise getting advance tickets; all previous events have sold out. Tickets will be available from Lust!, Taboo and Prowler.

BRIGHTON TATTOO CONVENTION 2012 Now in its fifth year, the Brighton Tattoo Convention will again take place overlooking the sea from its home at the Brighton Racecourse, welcoming over 5000 visitors. This year, more than 150 of the world’s most talented tattooists will work alongside some of Brighton’s best tattoo workshops. By Josh Redfearn The carefully selected lineup will include artists such as Phil Kyle and Ade Stacey from Brighton, Gakkin, Horimasa, Horiken and Horishin from Japan, and a host of other artists from all over the UK, Europe, Asia Pacific and the USA! With the same great tattoo competitions, vendors and performances we’ve come to expect from the convention, there’s always the guarantee of Brighton’s laid-back, ‘no attitude’ vibe. Entertainment over the weekend includes live music from All Weller and the Rocker
38
Covers and Born Bad DJ’s, plus stage and fire shows and art galleries galore (auctioned for charity). Tickets are £20 for one day and £35 for the weekend. There’s a pre-party organised by Phil and the guys at Magnum Opus Tattoo at the Green Door Store on Friday 27th Jan (expect the likes of Peter and the Test Tube Babies). Plus the almighty aftershow party held at the Concorde2 on the Sunday which is free for everyone who attended the convention or £8 on the door. Brighton Tattoo Convention’s
chilled out atmosphere and great tattoo community has made it a favoured event for convention-goers in the last five years; this year looks to be bigger and better than ever, and one event in the tattoo community calendar that’s not to be missed. Check out www. brightontattoo.com for more details. Brighton Tattoo Convention 28th - 29th January Brighton Racecourse Freshfields Road Brighton, BN2 9XZ

BN1’S TAKE ON 2011 We take a look back at some of the prominent events that happened in 2011 What a year! The Brighton Festival and Fringe were back and better than ever, we got an almost summer and our city got a big wheel! Apparently it was declared International Year of Chemistry. But carefree local lad Frankie Cocozza got a bit enthusiastic and was ejected from TV’s X Factor for partying a little too hard (and visibly). Sadly, over-excess ultimately got the better of Amy Winehouse this year. Other greats that passed away included: Wales manager Gary Speed, Bond composer John Barry, guitar hero Gary Moore, cult of personality leader Steve Jobs and jewellery-dripping dream-maker Jimmy Savile. Also meeting his maker was Osama bin Laden, who was corned and shot for tripling airport check-in time across the western world. The Space Shuttle was withdrawn from service after thirty years of service. Later in the year, Thomas Cook found itself in trouble after a NASA employee redeemed all the space agency’s Air Miles in one go. The Eighties revival continued apace, with city centres getting into the mood with some of the worst rioting this country had ever seen. Politicians spread the blame across all sectors of society except themselves, shop keepers were left sweeping up 200 million pounds worth of damage. Brighton residents,
40
as usual, remained sedate and unconcerned with so much frenetic activity as smashing windows. On a happier note The Seagulls punched their way into the Championship and acquired a lovely new stadium. The wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton showed everyone that noone can get an army traipsing around their capital city, dressed in acres of gold braid, better than the UK. Teenagers across the planet experienced unreasonable
levels of arousal over squawking lesbian look-alike Justin Bieber. Back in the real world, Jessie J and Brighton’s very own Rizzle Kicks found themselves impacting the charts in a big way. Overall, it was a lively and interesting year. 2012 looks like being a corker, what with the Olympics and the Fatboy Slim gig at Falmer Stadium. In addition the Mayans predicated the world will end on 21st Dec 2012. Those “End of The World” parties should be fierce…
