The Gold Coast International Marine Expo smashes both sales and attendance targets!

concurrently are a real turning point for the way the Australian marine industry markets itself both nationally and internationally. And as Emma maintains, “The true impact will continue to be measured over the coming weeks, months and in some cases, even years.”

Kingdom and New Zealand, as well as people from every state in Australia, the organisers had some great feedback. Transport links, free on-site parking and the courtesy coaches were all well received as was the new alfresco dining hub, indoor pavilion and marquee schemes.

As Event & Marketing Manager, Emma Brown explains, “The Expo has really come of age this year. Our marine industry leaders, in growing numbers, can see the massive benefits of creating an Expo experience that is truly unique to anything in the world”.

Over 20,000 boating enthusiasts streamed through the Expo gates from Thursday 19th to Sunday 22nd May to experience what is touted as ‘the boat show with so much more’. Emma forecasts the direct sales activity generated at the Expo will easily surpass last’s year’s figure of in excess of $50 million, based on exhibitor feedback at the conclusion of the Expo.

Emma says, “Now we need to review and refine the event and continue to strive to be the best we possibly can be.
