Born in Dallas, TX
Student at St. Edward's University Co-Owner and CEO of Memmbles Inc. Journalism Major Former collegiate athlete at Baylor University Enjoys creative writing and film-making
I'm a student at St. Edward's University planning to graduate in the spring of 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism & Digital Media. After graduation, I plan to work as a freelance marketing blogger. Creative, hardworking, and collaborative are some words I'd use to describe the virtues I bring to the table. I have a strong passion for writing and hope to someday turn that affinity into a viable career.
PROJECT
ABOUT
The purpose of the Project Proposal is to have students pick their ideal profession and to use preliminary theory by explaining what they believe the job encompasses without doing any further research. This section was my opportunity to show what I knew about my desired career path before leaping into a job search.

COMPARATIVE
ABOUT
This first Comparative Analysis was to take students' job search a bit further by identifying job openings in their career field on one of several jobsearching sites. Students were then asked to highlight the key differences/similarities of these five job positions in order to narrow down their choices in relativity to their preliminary estimations.

INTERVIEW
ABOUT Students were asked to get in contact
with university alumni to further inquire about their desired career path. The following pages are a transcript of a Q&A between myself and an alumni contact. These questions were asked to collect information about the contact's daily tasks, figure out what kind of writing they do, and to find out what made their writing effective and ineffective in their job.

FINAL
COMPARATIVE
ABOUT The second comparative analysis
served as the conclusion of my preliminary theory. The analysis consists of the new information I learned about my desired career field. In addition, the document gave me a chance to digest the answers provided by my alumni contact and to produce an abstract reflection of what I obtained from the interview.

WRITING
ABOUT
Now that I had a more accurate idea of the career path I was pursuing, I wrote a sample article pertaining to my alumni contact's employer and the audience of that organization. This gave students the opportunity to take everything they'd learned from their research/interview and create a writing piece themselves.
