These are all the ingredients needed to make three meals, for a family of four, for approximately $30—depending on prices in your area. Semi-Homemade Marinara with Spaghetti & Side Salad

Burrito Bowl

Fried Rice

Cook rice in Microwave Rice Maker and divide 4 cups of cooked rice into four burrito bowls. Save remaining rice for fried rice on Night 3. Use remaining cheese, lettuce and green pepper from Night 1. Use black beans, 1 cup of frozen corn (remaining for Night 3), 1 sliced green onion, and 1 lb./455 g chicken breast, cooked, to make burrito bowl.

Use remaining rice, frozen corn, green onion, and 1 lb./455 g of chicken in fried rice as well as frozen peas and eggs.

Serves 4 Add onion and ½ green pepper to the jar of marinara. Serve with side salad made with ¾ head of the iceberg lettuce, 1 cup of baby carrots, chopped, and 1 cup of cheese. Pasta 1 lb./455 g spaghetti 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil 1 small onion, peeled & quartered ½ large green bell pepper, cored & halved 24-oz./680 g jar marinara 1. Place spaghetti in base of Microwave Pasta Maker and add 6 cups water. Microwave on high power 10 minutes, or until al dente. 2. P lace onion in base of Power Chef® System fitted with blade attachment, cover and pull cord until chopped. 3. P lace ½ of the green pepper in Power Chef® System fitted with blade attachment, cover and pull cord until chopped. 4. Heat olive oil in large sauté pan over medium-high heat. Add chopped onion and pepper to pan and sauté until vegetables have begun to soften. Add marinara to pan and cook until heated through. 5. Drain cooked pasta and toss with marinara. Serve warm. Salad ¾ head lettuce, cored & quartered (reserve remaining ¼) 1 cup baby carrots, chopped 1 cup shredded cheese 1. With a knife, slice lettuce for salad and toss with chopped carrots and cheese. Serve with desired dressing.

Burrito Bowl 4 cups white rice (about 2 lb./1 kg bag) 14.5-oz./425 g can black beans, drained & rinsed 1 cup frozen corn, defrosted 1 green onion, sliced ¼ head lettuce, chopped 1 cup shredded cheese 1 lb./455 g chicken, cooked & chopped (season to taste) 1. Place rice into base of Microwave Rice Maker and add 6 cups water. Cover and microwave on high power 5 minutes. Then microwave at 50% power for 15 minutes. Let rest, covered, for 5 minutes. 2. Divide 4 cups of cooked rice into four bowls. 3. Top each bowl of rice with black beans, corn, green onion, lettuce, cheese, guacamole and chicken. Guacamole 1 ripe avocado, pitted ½ lime, juiced (use remaining half of lime to serve with bowls) ¼ tsp. coarse kosher salt 1 Roma tomato, diced

¼ cup sesame oil 2 cups frozen corn 14-oz./415 g bag frozen peas 3 cups baby carrots, chopped (remaining baby carrots) 6 eggs 1 tsp. coarse kosher salt ½ cup soy sauce 7–8 cups rice, cooked (remaining cooked rice from burrito bowl) 1 lb./455 g chicken, cooked & chopped (season to taste) 1. Heat sesame oil over medium-high heat in a Chef Series 6-Qt./5.7 L Dutch Oven. 2. Add corn, peas and carrots to oil and sauté 2–3 minutes, until begins to soften. 3. Lightly whisk together eggs and salt. 4. Stir veggies to the side of the pan and pour eggs into center of pan. Stir until eggs are scrambled. 5. Add soy sauce and rice. Stir until heated through and combined. 6. Serve with chicken.

1. In small bowl, combine ingredients. Mash avocado with a fork and stir to combine with other ingredients. Serve on top of burrito bowl.
