Atlas Concorde & Crossville from D&B Set Tone in New Aetna Headquarters The redevelopment of the former Fashion Mall in Plantation includes a 160,000-square-foot office building as an extensive renovation of a previous building. Aetna (NYSE: AET) leased 85,000 square feet and relocated its Sunrise office there.The office houses its commercial, Medicare, Medicaid and international divisions. “Our move into this vibrant new development is a great fit for our employees, while providing a central location for our customers and members throughout South Florida and reinforcing our continued commitment to be part of the communities that we serve,” said Richard Weiss, Aetna’s executive director for Florida.
Plantation Walk will also have 700 apartments and 200,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and entertainment space at 321 N. University Drive. Those elements are still under construction.
