hen you visit Sean Kelley’s home in Jupiter, FL., you immediately have the feeling that you are 250 miles south . . . in Key West. “I purchased three lots in my community with a vision to bring the outdoors inside. All existing vegetation was removed and we started from scratch.” The property is anchored by a large pool with boulders and waterfalls. The main house contains a gourmet kitchen, plantation shutters and a bright, airy feel. The pool house is a two-story structure with a soaring roofline, a sauna, large covered veranda with an outdoor pool table and a view of the pool, tennis court and the main house. Jimmy Buffett would feel right at home.
Kitchen floor in the main house is 24x24 Crema Laila.
Sean had the master vision for the project but he turned over design and contractor recommendations to Suzi Addessa, president of Suzi Addessa and Associates, Inc., in Jupiter. “I left everyething up to Suzi. I set the tone for the job and laid it out then let her, as a design professional, do her thing. I was often asked my opinion. When it did not agree with hers, she overruled me. She used mostly Atlas Concorde on all the floors to tie it all together.
