The infamous Standing Stones of Callanish. Larger and older than Stonehenge. When you place your hands on the 3 billion-year-old stones, the hair on the back of your neck stands up. These stones were the inspiration for the tv series Outlander.

Abandoned crofter’s cottage and barn on the Isle of Lewis. Image capture was 11 pm. At these northern latitudes, the sun did not set until after midnight. The Isle of Lewis and Harris is the home of world famous Harris Tweed. Woven by “crofters” in their corttages.
