The Boca Raton Tribune Communication Among 3 Key Entities

By Fred Hamilton

City Hall, the Greater Boca Raton Beach & Park District and Florida Atlantic University are operating in silos and the three candidates seeking the vacant City Council seat in the March 10 election want to see a better working relationship. In interviews with the Boca Raton Tribune, Frank Chapman, Jeremy Rodgers and Jamie Sauer said while all three entities do a good job individually, they need to do a better job in communicating. “I think that we all need to work together,” said Sauer, 33, a third-generation Floridian who has lived in the city since she was 5.

Doggie Dine-Out & Paws Fest A Huge Success Plenty of paws-pleasing ‘fur and fun’ was unleashed Saturday at the inaugural The Great Doggie DineOut & Paws Fest. The free, open-to-the-public event was a fundraiser for Tri-County Animal Rescue’s Medical Care Funds. With more than 400 pups socializing, they and their peeps enjoyed an afternoon of pet-themed activities for pet lovers of all ages and their furry friends. The event began with opening ceremonies with a pups parade of rescue alumni and their families.
