This past month, my son and I got to participate in the #brightenupboerne campaign! This year’s theme was outer space and we had the best time creating our very own out-of-this-world artwork on a trash can that will be placed in one of the City Parks! Our Parks and Recreation Department does such a wonderful job making life wonderful here in Boerne. Did you know that they maintain over 400 acres of green spaces and five and a half miles of trails? They run athletic programs, organize classes, festivals, events, camps and so much more. These hard working folks really deserve our support. Learn more about all that they do on the City’s Website.
