TOUR DE BOERNE We had a great afternoon getting to celebrate Tour de Boerne with a ribbon cutting celebration! Tour de Boerne is a bike ride that will take you through the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Towns included in the routes are Boerne, Waring, Welfare, Luckenbach, Sisterdale and Comfort. You will be challenged along the way and welcomed back to Don Strange Ranch for a BBQ meal, cold craft beer and great conversation. Tour de Boerne is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. They are a Christian organization dedicated to giving back to those in the Boerne community who are in need. This year, Tour de Boerne plans to support Boerne Family YMCA, Hill Country Boys and Girls Club, Blessings in a Backpack - Boerne, TX and Coats for Kids. ROC-N-RITAS BOERNE GRAND OPENING We were so excited to welcome Roc-N-Rita’s into our Boerne community this past February and they have continuously served our community since the day they opened! Roc-N-Rita’s offers high quality Margaritas, Pina Colada’s and a variety of specialty flavors. Their margaritas are not a wine based product nor a tequila based product, but they use a “pure” product called “Citrus Neutral Spirit”. NATIVE PLANT SOCIETY - BOERNE CHAPTER We had a wonderful ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating and welcoming the Boerne Chapter - Native Plant Society of Texas into our Boerne Chamber. The Native Plant Society has been around for over 20 years now and was recently selected as the Chapter of the year! The Native Plant Society is an amazing organization that promotes research, conservation and utilization of native plants and plant habitats of Texas through education, outreach and example.
