The Atheneum Center with is fine neoclassic arhitecture , placed within a walking distance of merely 2 minutes from the Hiltonee Atene Palace , Royal Palace, the Atheneum and the University librery, will graciously complet the already stylish line of the building in this area. The city centre of Bucharest preserves arhitecture from the late 19th and early 20 th century, particulary from the interbelic period, which is often, seen as the “golden age� of Bucharest. Much of the arhitecture of the time belongs to a remarkably strong Modem Arhitectur current, led by Horia Creanga and Marcel Iancu, who managed to literaly change the face of the city and add modernism to the previous classic look. atheneum center
