Cattle will sell under the standard Canadian Simmental Association Sale Terms & Condition, these are available on request.

EPD ’s are current and up-to-date as of publication date. Information in this document is believed to be accurate but any updates at the sale by the owners, auctioneer or sales management will take precedence over the information provided in the sale catalogue. Pedigrees in this document have been supplied by the Breed Association and all other information has been supplied by the seller. The South-Sask consignors reserves the right to collect semen on any bull sold through this sale. The semen collection will be at South-Sask consignors' expense and the buyer ’s convenience. Any semen collected will be for South-Sask consignors in herd use only.

Delivery and Board

At the buyer ’s risk and for a nominal fee, delivery can be arranged with the consignor. Bulls remaining with the consignor after April 12th, will be charged $3.00 per day. Insurance is recommended for all lots sold and will be available at the sale. Insurance is mandatory on all lots that are returning to the sellers farm for later delivery or pickup.

Fully Guaranteed

All animals will carry a standard breeding guarantee as specified by the Canadian Simmental Association. At no time shall the seller ’s liability exceed the purchased price of the animal.

behind schedule! What we have brought to town is a representation of what Come As U R strives for in our herd; strong genetics, free moving, sound and well balanced animals. His dam was one of the females we purchased from the great people at Sunny Valley Simmentals at the Simmsational Sale in 2011. His dam Sunny Valley Black Pearl 15X has already proven herself to be one of our top producing cows. Pearl 15X is the type of female anybody would want in their herd. She is long bodied, clean fronted, wide topped, and has that picture perfect udder that we strive for in our herd. This year she has a MRL Power Packed 130Y heifer calf on her and boy oh boy are we ever excited to see how this young gal turns out! We have yet to be disappointed by anything she has produced! Laredo 12A was part of our 2013 fall show string making him one to mark down for the top of your list to check out come sale day. He was shown at Manitoba Livestock Expo and Canadian Western Agribition where he placed 1st in class at MLE and 2nd in class at CWA. Laredo 12A himself is impressive, he is super stout, lots of guts, clean fronted, wide topped, free moving, awesome hair, and has that big old Predator hip. We believe this guy will turn out to be a breeding machine that will put that extra jam you are looking for into your calves.

PAGE 3 KRGS 7A has been one of the most impressive bulls all summer long and still is! Everyone that has seen him has a hard time finding fault with him and I think you can see why. We purchased his dam TSN Miss Edition 51W out of the 2009 Shades of the Prairie sale as an open heifer from the TSN Simmental program. We really like how she crosses with Predator. We sold a full brother to 7A last year at this sale. Some of the strengths of KRGS 7A is his smooth front, wide top, big hip and sound foot. He is long, stout, and black as can be with that wicked Predator hair!

Well here ’s a bull that will catch your eye when you walk into the pen. He is packed full of meat and muscle shape, a long spine while carrying a lot of rib shape which he gets from his dam. KRGS 16A has been one of our favorite bull calves in the whole pen all summer and winter long. He just has that presence and eye appeal about him. He is moderate framed, a leg under each corner and stout made. His pedigree is pretty wicked to. He is a son off the grand dam to KRGS Red Rocket 29A the 2013 Grand Champion Simmental bull at MLE and CWA that sold for $87,500 at Friday Night Lights this year to Rust Mountain and Canadian Sires. This cow family shouldn ’t need any introduction it is all there in black in white which has proven to be one of the best cow families in our herd by far. MRL Miss 354T is where it all starts! She is one of the top donor females in our herd to date. Her sons are working at MRL and Robb Farms. We have never sold a daughter off her yet and I think you can see why. KRGS 16A is an embryo calf with 4 full sisters to him in the yearling heifer pen this year and they are all flat out awesome. We also have 4 full sibs to him that were born this calving year, 2 brothers and 2 sisters and wow are they a stand out at such a young age! This guy has heifer bull written all over him! PAGE 5 Well I think you can say this bull is flat out awesome. His dam MRL Miss 810Y is a beautiful black cow that just stands out in our herd! In 2010 McMillen ’s asked us to put some HAAS Ranch P63 and LFEBISS Black Advance 426U embryos into our cows and we said sure. In 2011 when they calved there were 5 heifers, 4 black and 1 red and 2 black bulls. They let us pick one heifer to keep for using our cows as recips so we evaluated the heifers and we picked 810Y and boy oh boy are we ever happy that we did. Later that year we went back and bought the full sister who happens to be red, MRL Miss 814Y. She produced a black heifer that was part of our show string last fall. They sold one of the heifers in their bred heifer sale in 2012 to Rancier farms for $20,000. This pedigree will only enhance your herd!

These 5 individuals are very unique in their build and in their pedigree. Their dam JL lady 112s was one of the first Black Angus cows we purchased from the SooLine herd reduction sale in 2011. We really admire this female and I think if you saw her you would know why! She is as tall as she is wide, a mile long, amazingly deep, beautiful udder, but still has the cow look. We fell in love with her when we saw her at the sale and we just knew we needed her to kick off our Black Angus herd, we were so right! She is in the top 10 of cows on the farm between the 2 breeds. Hi there everyone, welcome to the 2nd annual South Sask Simmental sale. It is great to once again be part of this sale with a wonderful group of people. 2013 gave us all the winter that just wouldn`t end, then we went straight to summer. It got quite dry here midsummer and the flies were horrible, so the weaning weights on my calves were down about a 100 pounds. Also this year the bulls are on a complete Propel bull pellet from Masterfeeds, hand fed daily with free choice grass/ alfalfa hay and they are doing awesome on it. Multi polled and several generations baldy on his dam ’s side, his best asset may be his dam, who had a bred heifer sell to Six Mile Red Angus in the fall of 2012. We would like to welcome everyone to the second annual South Sask Simmental Bull and female sale. We would also like to thank bohrson marketing and Johnstone auction mart. Our farm is located south of Caron, about 5 miles off the #1 HWY. We will be breeding this spring 120 red and black purebred Simmental and Angus cattle. We began focusing solely on purebreds in the fall of 2008, and have enjoyed every minute of it. We feel these bulls will go on do great things for their new owners, and we back them up completely. Red Bullet has been a standout since birth, and has been exciting to see him mature into the bull he is today. He has exceptional width and WIDE top to boot. His full sister was the anchor of our fall show string for the past two years, and has risen to the top of our bred pen quite handly. Another maternal brother was our high seller three years ago going to Nolan Cumming, and is his top herd bull throwing awesome replacements and market steers that break the scales in the fall. His mother was one the first animals we bought out of the 2008 Agribiton sale. She is a well put together cow, and Red Bullet is the spitting image of her. Good udders is one the characteristics we strive for and when you have cows like 62T it is pretty easy to achieve this. There`s not much more I can say about the effect of Red Teddy has had on the industry, but when he duplicate animals like Red Bullet year after year it make is easy on us to decide who to breed. Cosmo is a smaller framed bull packed with a ton of potential. His half- brother sold in last year ’s sale where he was a crowd pleaser. This just proves how consistent of a cow WLB May 375X is. We bought her in the national sale out of Brandon in 2010. She has a fancy udder with a load of milk. Gunner is a power house bull in the Simmental breed, and Cosmo is proof of it.

PAGE 13 Well 119U has done is again. Its` doesn ’t matter which bull we breed her to because she knocks them all out of the park. This bull has it all from his nose to his tail and everything in between. His overall structural correctness and overabundance of hair makes him a very sought after bull. His sire Powerline has proven himself in the industry as one of the best, and it is proof when he can throw calves like these. We had a paternal sibling in our show string, and was she ever fancy little thing. She is in the top of our replacement pen that is for sure. His mother never seems to disappoint with raising our high seller in last year sale, going to Perlinger Simmentals. From all reports he is doing great, and at the time I was writing this they were anxiously awaiting his first calves to hit the ground. As for 119U she is a well-balanced cow and excellent udder that just cranks out the milk. Polled tests will be available by sale day. Here is a calf that we are very excited about. Everyone that comes to look at the bulls is instantly drawn to Dynamite. From birth he has always had the herd bull look to him. He is definitely the stoutest bull in our offering. When looking at him from behind you get to see his shear thickness with a table like back and enormous spring of rib. His butt is loaded with muscle that carriers down to the hawk. Even with all this capacity he seems to keep himself tidy, and walks very correct. Dynamite is off an awesome Club King first calver. She put a ton into this guy and still looks as good as she did as a bred. Club King has gave us some really good udders, but dynamite`s mothers tops them. Although the market isn`t flooded with In Dew Time animals, he has seemed to pass expectations for us. In fact our second high seller last year was one. Now here is a little twist. When picking a sire to breed 43K we dug deep in the tank and pulled out a black Irish, and through is in. That bull was born in 1990 so is 24 years old. I am super happy we bred her this way because we got this cool guy out of it. He is wide topped, heavy muscled and really clean fronted. His dam is a 14 year old that we bought out of the D Bar C dispersal. We liked her rather youthful appearance, and ability to keep a very tidy udder.

It ’s hard to believe that 8A is a Twin. The only thing wrong was that the other one was a heifer because I ’m pretty sure they would both be in the sale. He goes back to a Swan Lake Simmentals cow we purchased at the 2008 Agribition sale. This cow milked better than some dairy cows, but could still be bred back early. She has 3 bulls working out in herds in Saskatchewan and Alberta, and left us a really nice Sweet Meat heifer as well. 8A ’s as soggy as they come yet isn ’t a sloppy looking bull. We are excited about our first calf crop from our herd bull, J&G ’s Custom Cut out of Flying B Cut Above (a.k.a. FAT BUTT). J&G ’s Custom Cut is a total outcross sire to Canadian pedigrees. All four of J&G ’s Custom Cut ’s progeny below were born unassisted from first calf heifers, but you wouldn ’t be able to tell that from their size. I really like 29A. He stands out as one of those bulls with superior style and awesome hair. He will be that bull that adds tremendous volume to your calves, breeding cows year after year.
