$26,000 Canadian Donors

Future donor potential here. A nice mix of calving ease and power in this heifer. 469 is probably the most attractive red female in the offering with a beautiful head and neck extension. She has a good balanced set of EPD’s with a nice low birth weight. She is a moderate framed, deep bodied, dark red heifer with a really nice udder coming down. She is backed by the Brooke and Reba cow families and is a full sister in blood to the 441L heifer in the sale. This one is hard to part with but we are excited to see what she can accomplish in production.

441 is a big power female with a wide top and deep hind quarter with lots of rib shape. She comes in a dark red package from two black parents. She goes back to the great Reba and Brooke cows that are both highly maternal cows. There is no guess work here in terms of pedigree and the food and udder quality that she will have. These red heifers are extremely deep in quality and are worth a drive to Viking to see in person. $15,000

$11,500 Storebo Farms

A super big bodied, powerful female here out of the calving ease specialist, Epic. 428 is a sound made, attractive female with loads of barrel and overall mass. She is from an awesome young Landmark cow that has a really cool bull calf in the pen this year. The Landmark daughters are going to leave their mark on our herd and this is a great opportunity to add an impressive female with a predictable pedigree. 212J is a blazed face cow, 428 is bred to the baldy calving ease bull Ease so expect a high chance of a blazed face calf with a cool calving ease pedigree.

$27,500 Mader Ranches

has exceptional teat size and placement. She is from a strong producing, sound made Red Whiskey cow with a shot of fullblood in her. Expect 458 to wean a big dark red calf year after year and always look good doing it. She is sired by the high selling bull from the Zimmer family ZSL Ohtani. We didn’t have a bunch of calves from him but the ones we do have are consistent and good.

Here is a big, powerful, dark red heifer from our walking herd sire from Erixon’s. We lost that bull after 1 calf crop from him so this will be the only chance to get a female from him. He stamped his calves with this dark red color and performance. His sons were very well received in our bull sale last spring. 504 is really strong footed and is setting up a nice udder. An exciting individual with lots of options in her production.

Observed bred on May 4 by WFL Water Valley. Observed bred on May 24 by MRL 98H. Ultra-sounded favorable to May 24 breeding.

A nicely put together Precision daughter with a little added frame and a ton of hair. The Precision daughters we have in production are really impressive in terms of udder quality, femininity, and overall power. It looks like 544L is going to be a tanky big barrelled cow with a nice square udder just like her dam. Her sire Battle has developed into a very impressive herd sire for us. He is dark red, extremely soggy made, has tons of hair and muscle, and stands on a massive foot. 544L should turn into a trouble free mother cow that will go out and do her job year after year.

AI Bred to SBV Wildcard 500J on March 30. Ultra-sounded safe.

A nicely balanced fullblood heifer here who is that easy keeping kind. A very proven pedigree behind this polled female that stems from a group of beautiful uddered, broody, and soft made mothers who have put many bulls into our sale. This Imax female is one we think has mother cow written all over her. Her early breeding to SBV Wildcard adds to her excitement and we have heard only good reviews from Lenny Mark about his offspring.

A nicely pigmented Metro daughter that is hard to miss because of her style and performance. 438L already has that mother cow look to her which is common with the Metro females and is further complimented by her maternal lineage. Her dam stems from mother cows who have been poster females for our herd with their high capacity pear shaped figure and ideal udder structure. Most importantly they have been extremely productive females for us producing females like this and bulls that always make their way to the top of the pen. We have no doubt 438L will follow in their footsteps in terms of looks and production. Her early breeding to SBV Wildcard should produce a really exciting cross.

If you are looking to add a little more size and performance to your cow herd this heifer should be one to consider. 416L is a long bodied, smooth made, dark pigmented heifer who is flawless on the move and should be a herd bull producer. This heifer’s dam catches the attention of most visitors to the farm because of her shear mass and overall volume and is a female we liked enough to flush. We retained the three other flush mate females in the herd and a full brother was a high seller at our bull sale this spring.

A big, powerful, attractive Yuma daughter here that comes from the heart of our embryo program. 405L is a super strong footed individual and is setting up a beautiful udder in terms of teat size and placement. Another female with really strong calving ease and growth numbers that is backed by one of our most impressive cows to see in person. Our heifers have all been 100k tested, are sire verified and have had a full vaccination program including scour guard. Thank you to the Maxwell family for opening their farm for us.

318L is a special one that no doubt shouldn’t be leaving. This Raptor x 54Y cross has been outstanding. This mating created Erika and Eliza who have gone on to be strong donor females at Ultra Livestock and Canadian donors. 318L looks to be following in their footsteps and will have the same high quality udders as her sisters. Don’t miss this opportunity here as 54y is no longer with us and her embryo inventory is gone.

It took a lot of convincing to get Bernice to let Lushious go. Her dam is a maternal sister to 318L, Erika and Eliza. Lushous is as deep and broody as they come, a beautiful pear shaped heifer with the added bonus of a Homo Polled head. Not only is she phenotypically correct she has an impressive epd profile as well. We a very confident that she is destined for a donor pen and is one to not look past.

Lilbet is another high quality heifer that should be staying home. Once again Advantage has knocked it out of the park with this beauty. Her dam is another top producing cow here with a great track record. Lilbet has a sister working at Labatte Simmentals and a full brother that a standout in this years bull pen. Homo Polled heifers built like this one are a rare find and hard to make. Make sure you find her sale day she is one to look for.

Maternal Sister

Lainey is another high quality Advantage daughter. She is pear shaped with a strong foot and is looking to be setting up a beautiful udder. For those that follow epd’s she has a solid profile with an API in the top 10%. Here is another heifer with a strong pedigree that will no doubt be a sale favourite.

This Robb daughter is another Homo Polled heifer that will turn heads. Her dam is a nice Ray daughter that’s going have a big future here. She’s a deep soft made heifer with a strong foot. Robb daughters are great females and as a result you will find lots of them in our cow herd. 329L was part of our pen of 3 that were class winners and 3rd overall at the Vermillion fair.

Lillie is a quiet dark red daughter of our Battle Cry 98J bull. She’s a deep soft made heifer that should turn into a nice cow. Her BLL Kalibre dam was purchased from Starwest Farms at Friday Night lights.

AI Bred to LFE Best Answer on March 23.

303 is the blaze face heifer that we had no intentions of selling this fall. We didn’t expect this kind of female when we bred a big group of heifers to Warrior but he is very consistent in making exactly this type. She also follows the same body type as her dam with extra length and capacity and looks like she should have a beautiful udder just like her dam. Her dam is out of the Maximus bull that sold to Labatte & Clifford and we wish we had more daughters out of him. She checks the phenotype boxes and check out her EPD’s too. She is in the green in 12 out 13 traits and top 25% or better in 11 of 13! When we bred her to Best Answer we weren’t planning on selling her but we are excited about the Best Answer calves on the ground this year. They came small and easy and are some of the heaviest calves we’ve had on heifers in the fall and we love their type and consistency!

3120 has a little extra look to go along with her big rib and feminine front end. She is another blaze face Warrior daughter that is backed by generations of big bodied, great uddered Flirt cows and goes way back to the flush that were all full sisters to the dam of Caliber. Another heifer that has all the pieces to make a great cow but also checks the boxes on paper with an awesome EPD profile with 11 of 13 traits above average. An early service to the calving ease sire Guardian will be a very profitable token both on paper and in the pen next fall.

The Capacity daughters are timeless and we have gone back and used him more recently to get more daughters in the herd and sons in the bull pen. 364 has been a favourite in the pen since she was a calf. She is from the first crop of Magnitude calves and we are excited about turning them into cows. Magnitude sold to Wallgren Farms and Clifford Land & Cattle in our 2022 bull sale and has a very maternal pedigree being a Capacity out of a full sister to Merchant. 364 is backed by a cow that has truly stood the test of time coming 11 years old this spring and doesn’t look her age at all. She still has an udder that looks like it belongs on a 3 year old cow and has put numerous bulls through our bull sale and a daughter in this sale last year to Muirhead Cattle Co. Adding Supercharged to the pedigree double up on the maternal consistency by adding the great 202Z donor to the mix. An early service to Best Answer could be exciting. Flirt 339 will be one of the first No Limits daughters to calve. She has a little different colour than we’re used to in our pen but she is as nice as you can make one phenotypically. She’s massive made and powerful but still holds her head up with a little extra look and presence. Her dam is an extremely productive cow with sons selling to ALTA Genetics, Pheasantdale, and Derek Sutter. Two daughters have sold at Friday Night Lights to Sunny Valley Simmentals and Windy Knoll and we have retained two more daughters in our herd. No Limits progeny are strong footed and we’re excited about getting the first daughters into production as they look like they’re going to have udders just like his dam.

Hello and welcome to another edition of The Camrose Country Classic. We are honoured to be apart of this prestigious sale with a great group of breeders but also great friends. We have four heifers on offer that all showcase our cow herd and type we are trying to raise. Being out of dams that have proved they can produce should make for these girls to go out and get to work for there new owners. Heifers are on full herd health program and were ultrasounded before they went out on grass. We invite you to come look at the heifers at home anytime before the sale. Very fitting we start our offering out again with special Executive daughter. Here is a heifer that has just had that extra substance from day one, she has an attractive look to her and is explosive in her rib shape. Her temperament is great as she was likely the one following you around the pen during heat checks. Her dam has been a good cow for us and has one of the more powerful bulls in the sale pen this year that looks to be very exciting as well. Bred early to calving ease guru Slider who has really impressed us with his first calf crop being born small and showing above average growth out on grass, some of our favourite calves on grass this summer were Slider daughters.

I’d be lying if I wasn’t a bit hesitant to be letting this heifer go. She puts together alot of quality traits and actually excels in few of them. Fun to be able to produce females like these who have some extra power and performance while still maintaining a pretty feminine look. Udder and foot quality should be top notch on this female as the dam has very good feet and Executive has done a pretty good job of improving feet as well. Early service to red heat should give this girl an opportunity to get right to work and show what she can do!

A very stylish heifer from our walking herd sire TSF Gangster. We calved out our first set of daughters last winter and they impressed us with there maternal abilities and seemed to pass on the dark red hair to there progeny. Last spring two Gangster sons were our high selling bulls out of our bull sale. Low birthweights, tons of hair, above average growth as well above average epd numbers. This heifer looks as good and her paper reads. Out of a promising young Roosevelt cow who is just coming into her prime.
