AI bred to Anchor D Hefner 274H April 4. Ultrasound safe. Exposed BRSF FB POL Batman 45H April 6 to May 25.
A definite feature in our offering this year. Reigning from one of our favorite cow families- SBV Pixie 793A. This line of females is boasted about for their exemplary udder structure, easy fleshing ability, and presence of muscle. Crossroad Lustre is a smooth-made female, with tons of frame, capacity, and style. Sired by Crossroad Dexter 85J, a 14P Evan son, she is guaranteed to pump out sought-after progeny. She’s bred up early to the well-trusted homo-polled Hefner bull, we think this cross is one to turn some heads. She’s correct, elegant, and screams brood cow. She’s the kind we would love to keep around. We are proud to offer a female of this caliber to find success in another program, we have full confidence she will do just that.

It’s not very often that we offer a polled full fleckvieh transplant female, especially one with a pedigree like this. Sired by homo-polled Crossroad Pilot, we are excited to be moving forward in our polled division with two of her flushmate sisters. Crossroad Larissa is a daughter of Silver Lake Havana 33H, the 2021 high-selling female at the Pembina Triangle sale. Havana is a direct daughter of the renowned MCM Miss Farrah 10F, dam of Silver Lake Jackson, recently reselling for $100,000 this past summer. Crossroad Larissa comes to you bred out of our proven calving ease herd sire- BRSF FB POL Batman 45H. We have sold numerous bulls and females off of him, as well as a strong donor daughter retained in our herd. With a pedigree package such as hers, dark red pigment, polled, and diluter-free she is hard to pass up.

Here is another stylish ZSL Acuna daughter that will impress you with her deep-sided volume and overall presence. Our Acuna progeny have great colour, good temperament, and we are looking forward to his daughters first set of calves this year. 119L comes from a superior cow family with all three generations producing top-end progeny for us. Extremely good udder quality and fertility on this entire bloodline, with her granddam still active and placing another strong son in the bull pen. There is no doubt this power-packed female with aboveaverage EPD’s will carry on the tradition of production for her new owners. Bred early to out homo-polled Keet’s Launch 28L that was purchased exclusively for the heifer pen this past spring, we are confident this mating will be an exciting

Easily the deepest-bodied female in our offering. Crossroad Lucky is one of two ZSL Acuna daughters on offer. She is bold-ribbed, easyfleshing, with an extremely docile temperament. Going back to the great Spartacus bull on the dam side, she is most certainly not lacking in frame or muscling. Her maternal sister Crossroad Kollins 177K, sold to Siroski Simmentals in our 2023 bull sale. She is now working in their flush program, with promising progeny on the ground already. Crossroad Lucky is bred early on to our recently purchased homo-polled Keets’s Launch 28L. Between his calving ease, bloodred colour, and sound build, and with Lucky’s capacity and power. This is a mating we thought would result in a really exciting calf.

Latte’s sire has been used very successfully in the heifer pen providing calving ease and performance along with desirable pigment and great udder structure on all of his daughters. Latte will develop into a versatile female with her adequate substance and attractive profile. Her Spartacus mother is a large framed cow that can really feed a calf. We have retained a stylish full sibling to Latte in the herd. Bred early to the homo-polled Anchor D Hefner, this resulting calf will have a stacked set of EPD’s that will demand high returns.

Exposed to Sunny Valley Walker 84L from May 11- May 25. 12L is a member of our Wendy cow family that has worked so well for us. Her dam is a smaller framed cow that works her heart out every year. A maternal sister to 12L was our number one heifer calf at weaning this year and is at the top of the pen. 12L is a very attractive heifer that is beautifully marked and appears to be dropping a strong udder. She is bred early to NAC Battle Cry for a polled baby. A very interesting mating. The Advantage sons were some of the feature bulls in sales last spring and his females look awesome as we anxiously await their first calves.

If you like your cows moderate framed and tanky, take a close look at Tanya 317L. She closely resembles her mother, who came to us from Skywest Simmentals. 201H has a near perfect udder with small, nicely spaced teats. She is one of our top producing young cows and has weaned another exceptional heifer calf again this year. Look for this heifer to follow her mother’s lead and mature into a sound made, excellent uddered brood cow that will have a long, productive career.

Here is an attractive, long spined, feminine heifer. Fiesta’s dam is a powerhouse cow who raised an Esposito son that sold to Little Willow Creek Simmentals a couple of years ago. This ideally coloured heifer is laying down a beautiful udder and should have plenty of milk. Bred early to the $70,000 homozygous polled Kuntz North Star 15L who Labbatte / Oberle / Canadian Sires purchased at our bull sale this past spring.

Faith is a stout made moderate framed Esposito daughter. We don’t have many Esposito daughters in the herd as many have been sold through this sale or have been selected through private treaty sales. But, the ones we kept have developed into real strong cows. A mutual sister to 349L sold in this sale a couple years ago to WestGold Farms.

Twilight 341L is a heifer that I feel has a bright future. Her mother is a powerful young cow that was a member of our world congress display group at Anchor D Ranch this summer. Her Barbarian bull calf is an absolute meat machine who will be a highlight in our bull sale in March. 341L is a feminine, big bodied heifer that should have an exiting polled Jessie James calf in early January.

Another polled fullblood heifer sired by out Blackgold Bryk bull who has done a tremendous job for us. 22L follows the typical Bryk progeny being sound footed, attractive, solid colored, with plenty of substance. The dam of 22L is quite impressive as seen in the supplement picture below. We have kept 5 females out of this cow, and if Cosmo is anything like her mother, she will be profitable for her new owners. Again, bred to our LRX Outlook bull, one can look for an exciting calf right off the hop.

3L is a heifer we really admire and is one right from the top of the heifer pen. Blood red, deep bodied, with plenty of mass all in a polled package. She is a heifer that really commands your attention when you walk in the pen with a real attractive front and is one that looks to be dropping a very nice udder. Bred with early service to our polled fullfleck bull LRX Outlook, her new owners should look for a quick ROI. The LRX Outlook calves have been impressive, evident by our heifer calf consignment as well as his bulls in the pen. Here is one that should shape up to be an exciting mating.
20M is a calf we were real excited about since she was born. Out of Motown and a female we purchased from the Blackgold program a few years back; there is a lot of strength in this pedigree. Combining the Anchor D Motown bull with a “stuey’ female is a mating I think a person can rely on to be productive in her future. 20M is real dark red in a moderate frame package that has that extra “look” about her. You can breed 20M a lot of ways and produce some real solid and exciting matings off.
Here is the first calf on offer out of our LRX Outlook bull we purchased two springs back. He has worked well on heifers, as well has more mature cows. We think 8M represents the type of progeny that are consistent with our Outlook bull’s progeny. Real hairy, solid colored, and that extra substance that comes in a polled package. His bull calves are much the same being right near the top of the pen. 8M’s dam, 8H has done a real nice job in her young age so far and we anticipate this calf to do the same.
64M is a real cool mating off RF Shakedown and a real productive female we purchased out of the great WLB dispersal. We have been real happy with the Shakedown bulls and females we have on the ground from last calving season, siring the most consistent black set of calves we have had. 64M’s dam, Tara, is a model cow that a person would love to have more of. Tons of capacity, big footed, great uddered, and has produced 2 great females since her purchase which has allowed us to offer up this calf. 64M is a calf that packs a genetic punch. She’s pa ked with substance, nice fronted, and is sound on the move. Part of our show string this fall, 64M is one that might make a nice junior project as well.
A calf I really like and the first Red Willow Cash to sell. Myself and Roach Ranching stepped out and bought Cash out of a tremendous group of Mogul sons that day and he has done very well here. The heifers are hairy and dark red, the bulls are looking to be very good and will highlight my group at the bull sale this spring. Semen has been offered in the NYE sale and brought over $250/dose. The 82M female is out of a solid producing Raptor cow that’s brings a good calf year after year. 82M came polled and is one of the top heifer calves in the Cash group. She is deep bodied and looks that she will have a very correct udder when she comes to production. A female that will follow her mother into being a productive female soon for the new purchaser. Heterozygous Black. Flirt 53L is a heifer we really, really like. She has plenty of top and volume with thickness throughout while still maintaining a very attractive front end. Her style and presence draw your attention every time. The Betts females really have proven themselves time after time throughout the industry and females like 53L are part of the reason why. When you add that to the great flirt cow family most of the guess work is done. 53L is mated to KT Reddington 3526 a bull that we purchased to use on heifers that we are very excited about. Does the Scream family really need any introductions? The Scream family has reached elite status with progeny topping many sales. Scream 65L is a tank of a heifer, she has lots of depth of rib, profiles beautifully, an extremely easy keeper and pushes the scale down big time. This top end Copperhead heifer looks to be setting down a beautiful udder. We have calved a set of Copperhead daughters and are really impressed with their udder structure.

This red baldie is real easy to like. She is good looking, big bodied and looks to be setting down a stellar udder. We sold 2 maternal sibs to 51L in the 2021 and 2023 edition of the Border City Sale. The bred that sold to Fore See Cattle last fall weaned off a 9 weight bull calf. Being that this is the third daughter off 4F to sell speaks wonders to her ability and consistency.
AI to Sping Creek Maverick 48H on April 6. (safe)
Exposed to LAR Vanderhoof 5K April 25 - June 24. SVS Chloe 42L is a big bodied, powerful female. She has been a standout from a young age due to her well balanced, complete, attractive look. A performance female that was born to a first calf heifer. 42L is a perfect example of the curve bending ability of her grandsire, Walk This Way, and her sire, Triumph. SVS Triumph was a $32,000 feature and high seller when Pheasantdale selected him out of our 2022 Bull Sale. He was very popular and has bred extremely well. 42L is bred early to the calving ease, Maverick. We have used Maverick for a couple years in the heifer pen and are very impressed with his ability to provide above average calving ease as well as add hair and his dark red color.

Hot Topic 61L is a very attractive dark, dark red heifer that has always been one of our favorites. Whether she should be sold or not has always been a Hot Topic around here as she is out of a really good 10-year-old cow that was purchased as a calf out of FNL and one of our favorite sires Tycoon, whose semen is very hard to come by. She is mated early to Spring Creek Maverick whose sons were some of our top bulls last year and sold very well and the calves continue to develop as they age.

Exposed to LAR Vanderhoof 5K April 25 - June 24.
SVS Red Jenna 76L is a unique pedigreed female from an elite cow family. The Jenna females have stood the test of time and continue to produce marketable, sought after cattle. 76L is moderate in frame, big ribbed and good footed. She is developing what looks to be a very nice udder. The Loyalty females are the right kind and we can’t wait to get them into production. He is extremely consistent in producing quality, functional cattle. 76L’s maternal sister sold in Border City last fall to W Sunrise for 7750 and she produced an 11,000 heifer calf at the recent World Simmental Sale this past August. Talk about a quick ROI! Congrats to the W Sunrise crew. 76L is bred early to Maverick. The Maverick bulls we had this spring were easy to sell as they were stout made, hairy and excellent footed with added calving ease.
SVS BETTS 808F sire: MADER BIG ENERGY 97J
Bred to LAR Vanderhoof 5K on May 11. (safe)
Exposed to LAR Vanderhoof 5K April 25 - June 24.
SVS Lady Gaga 48L is stout, powerful and is a brood cow in the making. She would be one of the very first daughters to sell from the many time champion, Big Energy. The bottom side of her pedigree is unique and outcross. Her dam is a past Friday Night Lights high seller. 48L is big topped, heavy haired and is setting up a very nice udder. She is bred to LAR Vanderhoof 5K whose first calf crop has us very excited for his future. He offers a fresh pedigree for our operation in a blaze faced, heterozygous black package.
Exposed Spring Creek Sherlock March 18 - May 25. Observed bred March 23. Ultrasound safe.
This solid red bred was difficult for Shelby to give up for grabs. As these Cinderella Man heifers mature they’re shaping up to be our kind of cows. Broody, big-barrelled, strong-footed females with udder structure you can’t knock. The maternal side of 53L has proven itself through and through. Producing high-caliber bulls one after the other, and females retained in our production herd for their dependability. She’s extremely tidy in her makeup, with ample depth and dimension. She’s bred way along to our Springcreek Sherlock 140K, who has blown us away with his calving ease, and yet his calves growth rates are extremely impressive. This is a tremendously flexible heifer, ready to go out and do her job in any program.
Exposed Red Top Alpha 77L March 18 - April 28. Observed bred April 10. Ultrasound safe.
Exposed to Springcreek Sherlock 140K April 29 - May 25
This goggle eyed female has been a favourite in the heifer pen all summer long. She’s flashy, deep-sided, angular, and extremely appealing. A direct daughter of the prolific LFE Stratton bull and a super-producing Crossroad Red Stone dam guarantees that she will, maintain capacity and drop a flawless udder. Bred way along to our Red Top Alpha 77L, who is backed by Skors Red Fortune 176Y. A female who has certainly made a name for herself this past year with two full brothers topping Transcons Red Deer County Bull Sale. This mating has a high chance of a deep cherry red blaze-faced calf, it’ll take no time to make the initial investment back on this purchase.
Exposed to Springcreek Sherlock 140K from March 18 - May 25. Observed bred April 4. Ultrasound safe. This stunning red star-faced heifer comes from a long line of powerful production females. Her dam Crossroad Exceptional 182E has been a no-miss cow for us. Knocking it out of the park every year, as she did on this heifer. Lottie embodies a striking profile, generous depth of body and frame, and picture-perfect teat placement. A direct daughter of the Cinderella Man bull, she obtained her sire’s strongest traits. The structure of his females is hard to compete with. They get out on the move with exquisite fluidity, undoubtedly they are going to make functional working cattle. Bred to our blood-red Springcreek Sherlock 140K herd sire, whose C.E is 21.5 and all five sons born are in the bull pen. The resulting progeny will be anxiously anticipated.
AI to KWA Future 3G on April 3. (safe)

Here’s a high performing Hawkeye daughter. Hawkeye offers a different pedigree in the reds and sires dark red high performing calves. His sons were very well received in our bull sale last spring. Emily 332L is a dark red blaze faced heifer with an outcross pedigree and a shot of fleckvieh.
RUSYLVIA GOLDKEY 64L

Exposed to KT Limitless 3436 from April 23 - May 31
Here is a very unique red female that is awesome haired and good looking and just a very complete and fault free female. This will be one that will go out and be a very productive female and can go which ever way you would like when breeding her. With her having a little twist and throwback pedigree with some calving ease in there as well. we think this one could be very valuable when she in production.
AI to W2 Southside 2K on April 4
Exposed to Black Gold Modano 172K from April 10 - May 5
(Favourable)
We have been very high on these High Stakes progeny for good reason and when you see these 2 big strapping heifers we think you will be too. The first 2 calf crops of High Stakes have impressed at every stage. This will be the first daughters we calve this year and the daughters he put in our replacement pen again are very impressive. The 313L heifer is our kind of heifer, soft made, dark red and looks to have an ideal udder coming. This is what a “herd bull maker” looks like in our eyes.
AI to Mader Walk This Way 224B on April 4 (Safe)
Exposed to Black Gold Modano 172K from April 10 - May 5
We ran into some bull trouble a couple years back and after making a few phone calls and talking to some people who had seen the Crossroad Apollo bull we decided that was the bull we would try to buy in to. Ultra and Hay Valley allowed us to buy the late walking rights on the bull and this was the first calf crop born at W2. The 336L heifer resembles her Sheer Force dam with that brute cow look to her. With that splash of white on her head and bred to the popular Mader Walk
This Way bull for an early January baby there are a lot of reasons why 336L should be on your short list.
AI to W2 Southside 2K on April 4 (Safe)
Exposed to Black Gold Modano 172K from April 10 - May 5
The largest framed of the heifers we are bringing to town and a heifer that resembles her mother very closely. We have a full sister in this year’s replacement pen that is a spitting image. Deep red, bold ribbed and real clean and extended through that front end. If that extra frame and power is something you’re after you may want to have a look at this one. Bred early to Southside who seems to be picking up steam with reports of his first calf crop coming in.
Bred AI to WLB Top Tier March 29/2024. (safe) Exposed to RF Acclamation 121J April 5 - May 28
37L is a powerhouse of a female out of our great Cipher female we purchased from the Snider family. Cipher herself is impressive and has done an incredible job for us and is very close to having 30 calves registered in the CSA and will surpass that this year once all her calves become registered. Her daughters in production are proving to be real productive always bringing home the good ones from pasture. 37L herself is a dark red daughter of Walk the Line with tons of capacity and muscle dimension. She stands on a solid foot and is fancy fronted with a real feminine look. You can be confident with your purchase in this cow family to go out and raise the good ones. This is one we would have loved to keep at home, but we are confident she will do real good things for her new owners.
Bred to Springcreek Maverick on March 25 - Safe favourable with a heifer calf
35L comes from a strong cow family here at SAJ going back to the 333A cow from Westway. This family produced a bred that sold in the Family Matters sale to Willerton a few summers back. 35L is a deep sided dark red Mountainview heifer that will raise some good marketable calves. I wanted to showcase a cow family at my first time consigning to this impressive sale so I brought her maternal sister 37M. The dam to these two heifers is one of my best red cows on the farm and 35L is shaping up to be very much like her. Bred early to maverick with a heifer calf could be a good combination and a real nice pair next
With the 3 heifer calves I put in the sale I wanted to showcase each of my walking bulls. 37M is out of a bull I bought from Mappin Simmentals. She reminds me a lot of what the bull here has done, lots of middle, hair and thickness. 37M is the maternal sister to the bred heifer 35L in the sale here. She is a similar type to her older sister. When you get behind her I admire the top and thickness she has, can imagine her as a bull producer. The dam of this heifer is a cow I look forward to seeing every year what she’ll give for a calf. A moderate cow that cranks them out. This will be a heifer I’ll miss having here but will sure follow where she goes and see what she can do. Polled - Non Dilutor.
Bred to Springcreek Maverick 48H on April 3 - safe favorable with a bull calf
Scarlett is a dark dark cherry red Mountainview heifer that is setting up a really nice udder. The Mountainviews I have are developing into nice females consistently having the dark red colouring and are nice feminine deep bodied cattle. 69L stems from a cow purchased at the Skor dispersal Her dam is a larger framed cow that raises big calves and I expect this heifer will do the same. Safe to what the vet thinks is a bull calf nice and early could be a quick ticket to paying for her on the first try. I think she’ll be a very productive cow that will have a long productive term. Homo Polled - Non-Dilutor
Sierra is a powerful daughter of Stratton and comes from one of the most proven cows on our farm. 10B is a cow that’s never let us down, she is so consistent, always bringing in an impressive calf every fall. She is the dam of the memorable Cobra event high seller Sierra Scream who sold to Mark Land & Cattle and Westman Farms, and she put a powerful dark red Mind Game daughter through the Border City sale in 2023 selling to Westhill Farms. Sierra 10M reminds us alot of her big sisters, she is a big capacity female with enough power to raise some great calves in the future.
42M is out of a first calving Approval daughter and my proven heifer bull from the Ashworth program. He has consistently calved heifers well and have enough power in his calves to notice in the fall. He’ll be getting a group of cows this spring. 42M is an attractive made heifer that is easily my darkest heifer I’ll have. She’ll be a maternally minded heifer that could be mated many different ways. She is a very correct heifer and comes from one of my oldest cow families on the farm linking back to one of my first purchases from the Lewis family. Have a look here and see what you think. Homo Polled - Non-Dilutor
Mind Game has done a wonderful job here at our place stamping them all with his signature huge capacity and mellow easy doing look. 26M is out of a beauty Gunner cow and as we’ve all come to know over the years is that these Gunner cows are worth their weight in gold; they are model females and 26M’s dam is a perfect example of what Gunner can do maternally. Bold in her rib shape with center volume to spare along with a quality udder and fault free feet, she’s the type of cow a person wants to their replacement females to come from.
The Sassy cow family never dissapoints and our Border City offering just wouldn’t complete without at least one Sassy amongst our consignments. The dam of this sweet heifer is a flushmate to our high seller here last year, who sold to Oberle Bros at Shuanavon, Sk. We purchased some semen on Circle G Heat Wave 10H and used him mainly in the heifer pen. The calves came easily and have good growth which 11M demonstrates with her 84lb Birthweight and 827lb actual weaning weight in early September. Here’s your chance to get in on one of our most productive and desirable cow families, the Sassy’s always have high quality udders and make great mothers.
