Welcome to the 2024 Anchor B & Anchorage Bull Sale. 2023 was a big year for these operations as it saw the dispersion of their winter calving cowherd of both Angus & Limousin. This transition to move to an all spring calving operation to offer more coming two year olds is an exciting opportunity for customers to step into age advantage bulls moving forward that still maintain the same great genetics you’ve become accustomed to. The Bohrson family are a multi generational, family run operation that are some of the real great people to do business with and we are pleased to welcome you to their 2024 event.

The Angus bulls, featuring both yearling and coming two-year olds are made up of some of the most exciting AI sires, embryo transplant genetics and powerful walking herd bulls. The likes of Emerald, Bloodline, Oklahoma, Guarantee and Bank Note are some of the industry’s most proven and sought after genetics and the Rosewood, Ozark and The Duke walking bulls are some of the most impressive herd sires you’ll lay eyes on. This Angus offering features many power bulls as well as a great selection of calving ease bulls. The options are endless in this section and you’ll be hard pressed to find better bulls from a genetic standpoint that goes hand in hand with their phenotype.

The Limousin offering is much the same with many embryo transfer brothers available as well as new and exciting genetics that perfectly compliment the proven genetics they have used in the past. Proven sires, Austin Healey, Gold Rush and Stetson stand right up along side the “new sires on the block” TREF Hardcore and Samurai 17J. These Limousin bulls showcase true breed character and are the type you want a whole pen of feeder cattle out of with replacement females being highly sought after.

Cattle will sell under the standard terms and conditions put forward from CAA and CLA. These are available upon request.

3 bulls - 3%; 4 bulls - 4%; 5 bulls - 5%, etc.

Insurance

Please insure your bull(s) if they are remaining at our farm.

Guarantee

All bulls will be scrotal measured, semen tested, and sell as guaranteed breeders.

Delivery

We will transport your purchase to central locations in Western Canada and trucking arrangements to Eastern Canada or USA will be co-ordinated. Bulls can remain at our farms until May 1 with no additional charge. These bulls must be insured.

All registered bulls carry registration papers, performance info, and EPDs. Each owner reserves the right to collect semen on any of their bulls sold through this sale. The semen collection will be at the seller’s expense and buyer’s convenience. Any semen collected will be for in-herd use only.
