Welcome to the August Event. On behalf of all the consignors we would like to thank you all for your interest in the sale. Also invite you to be with us on Monday, August 13 for a special Summer sale. As we all know the hectic pace of Spring bull sales and Fall production sales, makes it hard to visit and catch up with each other about this exciting business. The August Event is designed to give you the time to come together and visit and pursue many different Angus programs in a fun Summer setting. We have an excellent offering of 38 bred heifers and five excellent cow/calf pairs as well as 12 excellent strait Angus commercial heifers. Our consignors are Justamere, West Cowan, Bandura Ranches, The Schierman Family, Rick and Ruby Flicek and Stoney Acres Angus, the Stumeki Family. Being able to go out in early July and select from the heart of these programs has been a great experience again. The programs are each very driven to produce consistent, excellent quality cattle to meet the demands of today’s explosive cattle business. Both Shelly and I are honored to be able to help our good friends market these cattle in a positive and friendly fashion to the many new and old customers we have in this business. Each of our consignors will have a small introductory about their programs as we go through the catalogue. It goes without saying that now is the time to be in the beef business after many years of struggling, demand is definitely way ahead of supply. The future is brighter now then it has ever been in the Angus business. The record setting bull sales this spring are only the tip of the iceberg of what is going to happen for many years to come. Please call or ask any questions to myself or any of these great consignors. The sale will be held at the Justamere sale pavilion, 1 mile south of HWY 16 on 40th Ave on the eastern edge of the city of Lloydminster. Thank you and we all look forward to seeing you at the sale. Sincerely,
Jon Fox

Welcome to the August event. At the time of writing this, it is 6 am, I am sitting at my desk, sweating my butt off, this is the 3rd day of plus 30 in a row. The haybines have started to move, and honey is coming into the hive. The hay crop and honey crop are looking promising and the price of cattle is holding. Damn life looks good, now to get off my ass and make it happen.
The heifers in the offering are from the heart of the herd. Jon’s selections from the heifer pen are good solid animals, a good cross section of the herdsires are represented. These heifers were born in March and April. More than likely the youngest animals in the offering. They were fed a supplemental ration of 6 pounds of pellets a day during the winter, along with the best hay I could muster. They were fed to keep a steady rate of growth. They were pasture exposed to a light weight bull purchased from Hamilton Farms from May long week end until they moved to Justamere. From that point on they were with Jon’s heifers and bull. I would like to thank Jon and Shelly for having us in the August event. Jon and his crew for their work, Lori and my crew for their efforts and the Auction crew and everyone else AND the other consigners that will make this a First Class August Event. We will be at Justamere on the Sunday prior to the sale, come join us for lunch on sale day. If you have any questions on the offering please give us a call, if necessary talk at the machine, we will get back to you. And thank you for taking the time to look over the offering. In the meantime, work hard, keep safe and we hope to see you on sale day.

RNRF Flicek Rick and Ruby Flicek Thank you to Justamere for asking us to be part of this sale. We started with 10 cows from Saskalta and 30 from Double AA Angus, and over the last seven years we have grown to a herd of around 100. Some of our females also came from the Justamere dispersal. Our herd is heavily influenced with strong Canadian genetics. We have been breeding our cows for maternal strength. The females we have to offer will fit well into any program. Please don’t hesitate to call us anytime if you want to stop by the farm. Cell: 306-823-3993 Larry’s Cell: 306-823-3957

18N has been a tremendous donor for us; she has been flushed successfully multiple times. We have four very productive daughters in the herd and are offering one in this sale. She has left us with numerous grandsons, the most recent of which sold in the 2012 Justamere Bull Sale and brought $5,000.00. These proven cows are hard to find and don’t come along often. Sired by the very popular Bada Bing. Chris was winning bidder at the 2009 Justamere dispersal, where he purchased Bing for $15,000.00. Of course Bing has sired more Champions and high sellers every year. A few notables are Justamere Panama Jack, Denver Reserve Champion Bull. As well as Justamere Stabilizer, the 2010 Agribition Champion. There are many exciting things yet to come from the Bada Bing genetics and they are definitely worth aquiring. This heifer is thick and deep on a great set of feet and legs. Pasture Exposed to MJT Bando 193Y from April 1, 2012 to sale time. BW: 75 lbs. Adj. WW: 803 lbs.
