The 2024 edition of the Canadian Donors Production Sale has escalated into a larger sale than we anticipated but it also brings great excitement to unveil the sale line-up which will open up a lot of buying opportunities. For those who don’t know us, we are a family operation that operate Bohrson Marketing Services sales management and we are fortunate to have a great team that works alongside us to promote our customer’s programs. The sales management is our passion and we put all our energy into it as our main focus, with that, we established Canadian Sires and Canadian Donors and re-invest back into this great industry to acquire and promote what we feel is some of the very elite cattle in the world. We are very fortunate to have the donor line-up that we have and excited for this line-up of sale lots that we are confident will have a positive impact on the industry.

We sell 100% of the pregnant recipients that stick & 100% of the live cattle that are born from our donors. I do understand that our business model isn’t even close to the norm on a regular cow/calf operation and that is because we don’t want to be a cow/calf operation, we want to leave that to our customers. Our goal is to have as elite of a Donor Line-Up as you can find in the world so you can access the very top recips and embryos to add exciting pedigrees to your programs. But as you all know, the donors need to calve out annually and we sell everything so you are getting access to 125 lots of outstanding opportunities backed by cows that flat out work. We don’t want to brag on our stuff but we are confident that you will find this line-up as good as we have ever produced - by a long shot!

A dozen herd bulls is a new twist to this year’s sale and we are proud of the offering. We feel that Mr Brightside is an outstanding breeding bull that has unlimited potential. The group of Purebred Simmental and Angus bulls are very good and I could write a novel on them but I won’t bother you and babble on further, but these are exciting lots. The 3 fullblood bulls are all off donors and were sent to a flush facility for many months that kicked out a tonne of embryos through the summer of 2023 but those bulls were a notch green for us to market this past spring and intentionally left over for this sale. They have never been offered for sale ever before and this is your first crack at them.

For anyone that knows me well, I always take pride in saying that I am a strong marketer of our BMS customer’s programs and a terrible marketer of my own. We truly do work our buns off for our customers and aren’t as aggressive on this sale because we prioritize the sales management and have a few big time sales coming soon after that we need to take care of. With that, we feel there has been great buying opportunities in the past sales and want to thank our customers from the bottom of our heart for all their purchases and trust in these genetics - it is noticed and appreciated beyond words. Also, my biggest regret is not having a couple page spreads of past customer success stories as it is humbling how well the ROI has been and no matter the value of your purchases, it is great to see these cattle work for you all. I promise we will do some spreads in future sales to highlight that and promote this sale better to showcase how much success has been rewarded from your investments.

I want to send a special thank you to Riley Bohrson for running the operation as I truly hand it over to him to manage it like its his own and he has done a great job - as you can see with the 125 lots in the sale, maybe too good of a job as the conception was awesome this past spring and this sale got away on us for quantity offered. Haha. As well, Darren McNeely who works alongside Riley throughout the year and is one talented, respectful and good dude that we think the world of. Tanner & Sienna helped again this past summer and are awesome to have around and couldn’t have pulled off the World Simmental Sale and manage all these Canadian Donors cattle on top of that without you two - thank you so much!

And lastly, it is all about family and ours loves the cattle industry and it is so cool to see our kids take a liking to it. This past summer, we have seen Gracie mature so much (who is now 11) and take a greater love for the show cattle, as she exhibited the National Champion Simmental, Bashaw All Breeds Supreme & FarmFair Junior Supreme Female with 2.0/3.0. It was a great run for her, she truly loves the show ring plus playing hockey and ball. Tommy (who is now 9), enjoys the cattle a lot but has taken a liking to the feeding, herd health, checking fall calvers (that is his favourite ripping around on his quad), etc, behind the scenes along with every sport possible that he can play. Rebecca and I have alot to be thankful for and we love this industry and even though our lives can be “hectic” at times, we wouldn’t have it any other way. Please join us at our place for supper on the evening of the sale if it works with your schedule and the cattle will be on display all day long. Thanks for taking the time to open up our book and if you have any questions, please let ourselves or any of the BMS Team know.

Best regards,

$40,000 Maternal sib - SVS/CD SAMMIE 31J

We have been waiting decades for the right bull to come along that deserved this name. Not only is Mr. Brightside one of the greatest songs of all time, it’s now the name of one of our favourite bulls we have ever laid eyes on. Mr.Brightside 4369 is a big time performance sire that does so much right. From his physical appearance, 4369 is pure power with a tonne of muscle to him. He is stout hipped, huge topped and still has a soft look to him. His dark red complexion, hair and eye appeal really draw you in and his fundamentals are on point with good, big, dark feet, strong testicle development and a real herd bull look to him. His combination of length of body, natural shape and sharp look make him an exciting individual we believe will have a positive impact going forward. On paper he is as outcross yet proven as we think you can make one. A son of the $140,000 NUG Eclipse 302K (who happens to be the great Spring Creek Brooke 68Z’s most impressive son) that offers a unique twist on paper and mothered by one of the most productive and stunning cows in HLTS Sammie. Sammie has become a household name within the Simmental industry and has been regarded as arguably the most stunning cow in the Canadian Donors lineup. Her accolades including the $110,000 SVS Rancher 42H, the $60,000 NUG Sammie 426L, $46,000 Black Gold Ms Sammie 169L and $42,000 SVS/CD Sammie 31J amongst many others and she is poised to have a continuation of her already impressive production record in the time to come. Every big time herd bull needs to have a cow behind him and Mr.Brightside honestly has one of the best. We have been excited about this bull since day 1 and he has looked the part since he hit the ground. At every stage of his life thus far, Mr.Brightside has had us extremely fired up and we just know he has a tonne Offering full possession only. Canadian Sires will retain semen rights and offer his semen in exclusive sales. Note, Mr. Brightside is located at Alta Genetics and can be viewed there.

$80,000 rancher daughter IRCC/CD/DS/AH/DC Darlin’

Sammy Kershaw is an exciting full sib to the breeding powerhouse, the $110,000 SVS Rancher 42H. We feel Sammy Kershaw has a world of breeding potential much like his popular full brother. We love the length of body, stoutness and power he brings to the table and as an added bonus he is puppy dog quiet. This dark red herd bull is sure to excite no matter the sex of his progeny as the guess work is completely taken out of the equation with the results of his full brother speaking for themselves. He does rival the Lot 1 bull in many aspects and it truly is special to see the great Sammie cow consistently produce extreme high quality cattle like Lots 1, 2, 23 & 24 plus so many others throughout the years. Sammie is an incredible cow with the ability to raise the high quality kind that are in high demand. This dude is a prime example of why we absolutely love calving these fall borns around here and when we have extra-age bulls of this quality available to go out and work for customers. We have a tonne of confidence, not only in their breeding ability but the pedigree they bring to the table also.

Cinderella Man- Paternal Sib
Black Gold Tycoon 198L - $40,000 full sib
3.0

Grass Roots Red Man 350 is an extremely well balanced herd bull prospect that we feel has a tonne to offer. His dark red colour, extra hair and nearly perfect feet complement his masculine, attractive skull carriage, proud, up-headed front 1/3 and bold rib shape. Red Man possesses so many of his popular, proven sire, Rancher 42H’s best qualities. We love the soft appearance he has while still remaining ultra sound in his travels. Red Man plants down on a large, super dark hoof with great heel depth and circumference. We would call him a foot improver and the way he gets out and strides, he is extremely eye appealing. On the bottom side, Red Man has a decorated pedigree and his big bodied, functional and powerful Captain Scream 63D x HPF Cream Soda Y010 mother sure does not hurt his paper work either. Red Man covered a group of cows this spring at BMS and then Riley had the great idea to halter break him. He was crowned the Grand Champion Simmental Bull in Armstrong,BC at the IPE just weeks after wearing his first halter. His quiet, easy going disposition really completes this awesome pedigreed, big time phenotype herd bull. We strongly believe that with more time and another year under his belt, Red Man will be a very competitive bull to drag around, but do know based on his pedigree and his type and kind, his greatest attributes will be what he puts into his progeny. Opportunities to acquire a coming 2-year old bull of this quality that is halter broke and ready for whatever you have in mind do not just present themselves everyday. Take advantage here and grab ahold of Red Man 350. Consigned with Richards Land & Livestock

C-D Big Country 3905

BW 90 - PG1490206 - bohr 905l - oct. 15, 2023 homo polled - red

A big power bull with added frame, length and extension. Big Country 3905 has many of the same quality attributes his dominant show sire Made Big Energy 97J has. Tonnes of muscle expression, rib shape and character. Big Country is as dark as you can make one and his mother is a super nice Limitless daughter with a picture perfect udder. Like Limitless daughters have proven to be, she is very wedge shaped with a great look to her. We think Big Country is an extremely exciting performance sire with very strong maternal backing. Look to him to be a dual purpose sire that can make those heavy weight cattle and still keep the daughters correct and eye appealing.

C-D I AM SAM 3209

Extra-Age Bull

A really unique herd bull on paper and in the flesh. Another result of our fall calving program that we love so much. A super stout, great looking herd bull from our 8683 donor. Princess has quickly climbed the ranks into a favourite around our place and for good reason. Fleshing ability meets a smooth, refined look with a great udder in 8683. I Am Sam is one of Riley’s favourites and since he was a baby, he wanted to show this guy all along but uncle burst his bubble and tried to tone back the size of the shoestring this fall. He comes at you in a red package out of 2 black parents which is a neat combination. An extremely well balanced, very complete individual that will be a big time female maker. You’ll want to keep every daughter I Am Sam gives you as they will be super low maintenance cattle with a really attractive look to them. 3209’s sire, Something About Mary (SAM) has been a very popular AI sire for his quality progeny of both sexes. His females have been ultra competitive show heifers that turn into good cows and his sons have been stout, easy to sell bulls with extra look to them. This is a really unique opportunity to incorporate some different genetics in the red gene pool with this really neat looking individual.

C-D Princess 8683 is a super attractive, sound structured, awesome uddered female that is gorgeous on every angle you analyze her. She is near perfect in her skull design with big fluffy ears, long fronted, smooth shouldered and big ribbed with a square, balanced hip. She is the mother to our Princess 5F donor and we believe strongly that we have some exciting embryo matings for your appraisal. Advantage is an exciting outcross option to add some extra power, Sexed Caliber was a no brainer to utilize on Princess as he has become one of the most sought after female makers in recent memory, his daughters results certainly speak for themselves, Intensity was the $100,000 baldy Caliber son off the legendary RF Scream 974G cow that is sure to cross perfectly with Princess and we even used the tried, tested and trued HOC Broker for something a little different.

An awesome skulled, dark red, extra long spined homo polled herd bull out of a model fullblood cow. Blast has a really exciting pedigree and represents generations of superior quality. Raptor, Kananaskis, Rumy 9E, Bravo and PHS Your Choice are all right there up close in his pedigree. His donor dam, Erika 748E has been a mainstay for both us and Ultra Livestock and everyone who has taken advantage of her genetics. At FNL 2023 a maternal sister to Blast, BRM Erica 105K was a $20,000 feature to Starwest Farms and in the spring 2024 Ultra had sons by Erika 748E sell to Semex Beef, James Creek Simmental in North Dakota and Horizon Genetics in Pennsylvania. Blast has herd bull credentials with a productive, proven donor behind him.

A full sister donor to Erika 748E is the gorgeous WJS Eliza 749E! Eliza has been a production giant with notable progeny Ultra Battle Royale 56J who was a $32,000 high seller to Rich-Mc, Ultra/CD 749E Eliza 47G who was a past $13,500 high seller in 2020 also to Rich-Mc and the $19,000 Hairy Hill Cattle Co Herd Bull Ultra Freedom 66H. Eliza 749E is a proven and consistent producer of both sexes. We have a great deal of confidence in this female and just know her matings to both the $170,000 SBV Modano 518L and the $100,000 Double Bar D Malone 39K will click.

the top 30% for Calving Ease and top 40% for birthweight and started life at just 70lbs. He’s a bull that with as much smoothness and calving ease as he offers, he still has great muscle expression and growth. His dark red complexion and big time pigment make him an attractive individual that is a real dual purpose herd bull. As much as we enjoy No Substitute himself, perhaps his greatest attribute is his mother, Black Gold Ms Maddy 101J. Maddy was the high selling bred heifer from the Evolution Vol 2. She was the feature $42,000 bred heifer representing the first ever group of SBV Reputation 707F females. No Substitute 3321 is a big time herd bull out of a big time donor cow.

He is a big time dual purpose bull as he will sire those easy doing, stout and powerful calves and with a mother like 133J he will definitely leave you a set of replacement heifers that will be highly sought after! Platoon truly has a pedigree that is interesting. On the top side the very notable and proven Battle Cry that has made a huge impact everywhere he’s been used and on the bottom side a legendary cow maker with PRL Houston combined with one of the biggest bodied, impressive fullblood cows of all time in Precious Thing 402T! A pair of maternal brothers from one of our favoruite donors of all time that just never had a bad day, Traveler 1121. Both these bulls are high quality individuals that have something a little different to offer. Mountain Top 3308 is an elite individual sired by the $275,000 (1/4 interest) Coleman Glacier 041. Mountain Top is super long sided, deep bodied and hard to fault. We think his pedigree and phenotype are big league and just know he will play a pivotal role in his new operation. CD Bowman 3121 is a Belvin May City son from 1121 that came into the world at just 60 pounds. He’s a moderate framed individual that will be suitable for heifers. His calving ease and strong maternal qualities combining the Georginas from Belvin and the beautiful Bismarck daughter, 1121 has us very excited.

Here’s a royally bred bull. Montana Judgement’s first calf crop in Canada has really surpassed expectations. Judgements legendary dam is still one of the most memorable cows we have ever laid eyes on. Combine that with one of the most productive Angus cows in the entire world, Lawsons Chloe C815 is a pedigree that is hard to argue against. C-D SAMMIE 3171

This female has been special since she was a week old and has been popular with everyone over the last year. She was just recently named Junior Champion female at the 50th against females a year older than her! This female has always been and remains striking with a smooth transition from hip, to rib, to shoulder, to front end. This female just doesn’t looks. Her feet are big and square, her teat placement is ideal, her combination of power and her overall presence is hard to deny. Everywhere we have shown Sammie 3171, she popular for all the right reasons, cattle like this are hard to breed and even harder to or objective you have with your breeding program, Sammie 3171 can move you in the exciting and gives a double shot of two of the most influential red donors in recent years being her first two immediate cows. This female is extremely hard to part with and therefore of her offering 1/2 interest with possession negotiable. We believe in this female 100% and partners on Sammie 3171. Offering 1/2 interest & possession negotiable. Our plan 2025 and exhibit C-D Sammie 3171 at the American Junior National Simmental Show in

everyone who has seen her at anytime 50th Farm Fair International competing striking from every angle. Wide based, doesn’t have bad days or give any off power and elegance is commendable she has won her class and been very to sell. We feel no matter the direction the right way. Her pedigree is new and years with Darlin’ 613D and HLTS Sammie therefore we would like to remain apart and cannot wait to work with the new plan is to retain show rights until summer Wisconsin in July 2025 at our expense

C-D SAMMIE 3345

Due to calve on January 1, 2025 to W2 Southside 2K - sexed female This is a female we cannot wait to follow for the rest of her career. Sammie 3345 has a bright future and one we believe you can build a cow family around. She closely resembles the popular full sib for Maxwell’s at FNL in 2022 that was a $60,000 feature to Sun Rise Simmentals and Duncan Kueber. Her proud, long front end, sweeping rib cage, stout hip and sound build have us very excited. An own daughter of the legendary breeding bull, Caliber 014 who has certainly climbed the ranks as one of the best bulls we have ever come across from a production standpoint and mothered by the HLTS Sammie donor who time and time again proves to be one of the most potent cows in the Canadian Donors arsenal. We believe Sammie 3345 types right in with both sides of her pedigree and will be a predictable and fun breeding tool moving forward with a tonne of diversity to offer. Bred up early to the exciting W2 Southside whose first calf crop has people ranting and raving from birth to weaning should solidify a quick ROI.

HLTS Sammie is one of those most asked about cows when people are touring. If they are seeing her for the first time, people are always overwhelmed with her body mass and shape with dark red colour, awesome feet and strong udder. If people are seeing Sammie for a consecutive time, they are always quick to pick her out as she has a very distinct and proud look to her and is one you can analyze and appreciate forever. A blood red, super hairy, very complete female here with a unique pedigree. Donor dam, Alley 0179 was a past FNL feature for $25,000 to Cedar Creek, Bristol View and Maple Lea and represents a very outcross pedigree to todays mainstream. 3308’s sire, Slider has become a very dual purpose sire, working well on heifers and working just as well on bigger cows to moderate birth and keep the performance in tact. 3308 has a great look and is one we think has a world of breeding capability in her. She’s bred up early to the proven Water Valley calving ease bull who has worked well for many and walks the heifer pen at Maxwell Simmentals. Consigned with Cedar Creek, Bristol View & Maple Lea

A big time, exclusive, yet still proven pedigree. Does it get much better than this? 2022 Undefeated Champion Simmental bull who happens to be a full brother to some of the most potent red cows currently in the industry in Big Energy, crossed with a different pedigreed, proven donor on the bottom side in the $27,500 Alley 0721. This dark red, blaze faced beauty is very complete and balanced from front to back. She has a real crisp look to her and her silhouette is hard to fault. 3352 is angular built with a wide back end and long smooth front end. She is a big time breeding piece that we feel you can utilize in all sorts of breeding decisions. Her maternal sister was am $18,000 FNL sale heifer in 2023 and has gone on to make a gorgeous bred heifer. Predictable yet still fresh and exciting is what we would say best describes 3352’s breeding capabilities. She is bred up to the

SimAngus bull Redwood who

and look.

Some really exciting embryos! 0721 is a past FNL feature at $27,500 to LA Ranch and Bar M Simmentals that we are very excited about. She is a very diverse female we feel can be mated many ways and know the matings here of Caliber and Boomer will click well. The Caliber mating is a proven one as in 2023 at FNL we sold a full sib to this mating for $18,000. That female had alot of friends sale day and we think the possibility to recreate that female is very exciting. The basket that features one embryo by the $55,000 Boomer is one we know will be profitable no matter the sex. His first calf crop is exceptional and we know he will have a late influence going forward. 0721 is a black blaze beauty and mated to Caliber and Boomer will be a home run.

Here’s a bred heifer that is quickly picked out by visitors. She is hairy, very balanced and complete. Just very hard not to appreciate. This should come as no surprise as her donor dam, Jazz 59D is as honest as she is powerful. 3359 is a red sweetheart that looks to be following right in her mother’s classic Cobra cut. Big bodied, strong uddered, perfect footed, long made and awesome skulled. Add in the strong influence of the SAGE x Darlin’ pedigree on the top side here and its a recipe for success. Her service to the red baldy SimAngus stud Redwood is sure to excite. His progeny are the real deal with a big time look to them.

A really unique twist on blood here. If you held us at gun point and asked us to name our favourite cow in our donor lineup, it would very likely be Dakota Dream 5F. That is a huge statement as we are so proud of many of the cows we flush, but 3044’s mother does hold a very soft spot in our hearts. We made the decision to breed her purebred and used the $280,000 Mader Walk The Line 92J. 3044 is an absolute tank. She is square on all 4 corner with a real brood cow look to her. Feet, udders and overall quality are a guarantee in this female. We believe she brings the best of the purebred and fullblood genetics to the table in a super high quality package. She is bred up early to the calving ease specialist Maverick, who just gets more and more popular the more he is used. We believe she brings the best of the purebred and fullblood genetics to the table in a super high quality package. If you are looking for a pet to scratch daily, 3044 is not your heifer but if you want one to be a production cow that minds her business and flat out produces, 3044 is your heifer. Elizabeth 3361 resembles her donor dam and has extra frame and power. Her size is nicely compensated for her ideal body shape and look. Her udder it shaping up to be very ideal and she has strong feet with great structural integrity. We can just picture this female as a production cow for year to come and think she’s exactly the kind to crank out a herd bull one day. Just recently his daughter won a very competitive Intermediate Division at the 50th Farm Fair for Twin Springs. Precious 3357 is a a big powerful female that you gravitate towards for her added mass and balance from front to back. Her dam is one we think very highly of and has clicked very well with every bull she’s been mated to, including right here to the $102,500 Ava’s Scream. Ava’s Scream is also one of those bulls we feel confident in that is only going to gain popularity as each year goes by as his first calf crop was a huge success and his second loos to be even more promising. We could argue this is our favourite service out of any bred heifer in the sale as we think SVS Justified is a big time stud with loads of pedigree and quality behind him. We can so easily picture the black blaze calf at side of this beauty come next spring! Consigned with Handford Simmentals

This 2 page spread could be the coolest thing we have ever offered on behalf of Canadian Donors and we just know the built in profitability for the successful buyers is endless. One of the best acquisitions we ever made was the day we secured Emmy G930! We sold 1/2 interest in Emmy in 2023 for $110,000, just months before we sold a big time flush of her daughters at FNL where 5 of them topped at $115,000 and averaged $57,000!! She is a cow that never takes a day off from looking the part and is one we confidently believe can be mated to any bull. As you can see here with the 6 different options to choose from on pregnancies. This female is so diverse we truly threw everything at her from industry leading Angus bulls, performance red Simmental bulls, calving ease Simmental bulls and outcross black Simmental bulls. Take your pick. Literally throw a daughter and whichever ones you end up with we can confidently say it will result in something to be proud of. We think each of these bulls offers something a little different to cross with the phenotypically stunning Emmy. We really believe in all the bulls we chose to mate her to and expect great things no matter the direction you choose.

Princess 5K has quickly risen to the top of our young donors. She has made the adjustment to successful show heifer to production cow very easily. She dropped a gorgeous udder with square level teats and has maintained her large rib shape, depth and power with a long attractive front end. We love this young cow and believe we have some pregnancies here to perfectly compliment her. Caliber certainly needs no introduction and his added length and stature to the already very attractive Princess 5F will be a big time cross. 3 heifers and 1 bull available here in a combination that could prove to be explosive. We do have a couple of these matings freshly on the ground in our fall calving and they stand out and have that “special look”. It is hard to find cattle of the phenotype quality as Princess 5K along with being backed by a stacked and proven pedigree, this is the way we like to make them.

WFL RED SAGE 506C

Without exaggeration, we could easily write a chapter book about WFL SAGE 506C herself and all her breeding accomplishments. Her accolades are honestly far too long and impressive to start listing and as silly as it sounds, it would  be easy to forget just how many $20,000+ sons and daughters she has had. Most recognizable she is know as the dam behind the $120,000 SVS Betts 808F. Recently she was the dam behind the 50th anniversary National Champion Simmental Female at FarmFair and top 5 Supreme Finalist with SVS Sage 49J. Her mating to RF Boomer 262K is sure to excite as you cross some big time cow power with Flirt 850F meeting the legendary Sage 506C herself. Ava’s Scream is a bull that made a huge impact on the show road in 2021. He was a dominant show bull that fetched a $102,500 sale tag. His first two calf crops have exceeded expectation and we know he is going to continue to get more popular. OMF Journeyman J24 offers an outcross pedigree and his unique build is one we think we perfectly compliment the powerhouse, Sage 506C. We hold Sage on a huge pedestal and honestly believe she’s a once in a lifetime type cow. Her influence will live on forever through sons and daughters and this is your opportunity to get some Sage of your own.

Lot 62 - 65 Preg Recips - Every sale has a spot where you think at the end of it “that certain female could have brought more” and we were shocked we were able to buy 237K from a strong program at $5,500 and she’s a legit strong female - invest with confidence. The next 3 females are all papered Red Angus that we bought from Mike Imler last fall, these are ideal cows in the prime of their lives. Most specifically, 75H cow is a high quality Red Angus female and if you dropped her off at any donor facility in North America, she would blow a large amount of donors away … big Statement? Here’s a really fault free, correct made, awesome lined female that was in dam when we purchased her mother as the lead off, Lot 1 Female from MAVV Farms in 2022. Her donor dam, Jacey 151J, is a Rubicon daughter who is an exciting herd bull that is a French Attack x Kael 255C! Exciting and predictable! It doesn’t get much better than this! Modano is of course the 2024 Lewis Farms high seller from Mark Land & Cattle at $170,000. He is an own son of Silverlake Jackson that caused a huge stir this summer from folks all across the globe that saw him during the World Simmental Congress. His walking rights alone fetched an impressive $100,000! He is mated here to our selection from the world renowned Labatte operation from one of their most cherished cow families, Precious Thing. 402T herself is a cow Barry admits was one of the most impressive, deep bodied fullblood cows to ever work at their place. She has been a big time producer for both him and their partners at Anchor D Ranch. Most notably aside from 133J, 402T produced Anchor D Motown 865E, who has been a key breeding piece at Double Bar D Farms in the last handful of years producing the $110,000 Double Bar D Milsap 271H as well at the $100,000 Anchor D Malone 39K. NGDB HELENA 264K

NGDB Helena 264K caused a huge stir in the fall of 2022 as she was campaigned very successfully for the Hoegl program and then fetched a $55,000 price tag at FNL. Three months later her embryos commanded between $3250 - $5250 per embryo and have since proven to work well with exciting calves around from these matings now! Helena 264K is extremely unique. Her confirmation is second to none in a polled fullblood package and she has since hit production raising a whopping bull calf on her first try at motherhood. Her pregnancy by Modano is maybe our favourite in the entire fullblood section. We feel these two individuals were made for each other and the resulting bull calf will be very exciting! Due early April 2025 to Brooking Radville 2208

Here’s a moderate framed bred we are really proud of. Her dam 9292 is a favourite of ours with a near perfect udder, elite silhouette and awesome look. 3305 is following right in with those same credentials, low set, easy doing and big bodied. She is safe to calve next spring to the great Radville and the way his first calf crop is developing we are fired right up, including a $70,000 daughter that sold at Brooking in October.

BAR-E-L BRIDE 28C

Bar-E-L Bride 28C was the $100,000 high seller at the 10th Annual Brooking Angus Ranch Open Book Invitational to Coleman Angus, Brooking and Canadian Donors. She was a cow we had been following for years at the renowned Bar-E-L program and we knew we needed to own her. The right to flush 28C sold in 2023 for a staggering $75,000 USD with a daughter recently bringing $30,000 USD ... her popularity north and south of the border continues to increase with endless potential! The near perfect phenotype that you find in 28C is impeccable with a beautiful head, long and attractive front end, level and broad top with impressive body capacity and overall length while possessing a beautiful idea and good foot quality. We have an elite line up of pregnant recips here by the legendary female maker Density 4336 (sexed female) and the new, exciting Mendoza 271. We believe these are the perfect combination of old school and new school matings.

RECIPS

Lot 86 - 89 Preg Recips - 92675 is a good black commercial female. Dan Pahl is a good dude with a strong program and if you ever got in trouble, you would want him on your side!112K is a direct Pappy daughter and he is really high on that lineage. 947K was purchased from another good friend, Scott Anderson at Angus Collection and this Bloodline x Natural Law x Tibbie cow family is the right kind. In a prior footnote, I mentioned I attempted to by every single Limitless female in the 2023 MAVV Sale because they are so, so, so good and this is a prime example. In this foursome there is a good commercial female and the three purebreds are perfect examples of very good purebred females that have no business getting embryos but that is just what we do here, flush cows and implant in everything else - I recommend you buying them and utilizing for purebred purposes, not recips.

deep sided great looking female that does so much right. We absolutely love this female and think she has so much breeding potential. We have some exciting matings here including pregnancies by the legendary SAV 004 Density 4336 and one of the new, hottest bulls in the industry, Montana Judgement 1038. There is also the option of 3 IVF embryos by the popular Ellingson Badlands 0285 or a basket of embryos featuring 1 RF Lit Up 357 and 2 Coleman Glacier 041! We think you could roll the dice on which mating you end up taking home and know you’ll be in great shape. We laugh and say females like Beauty 1197 you could mate to a goat and her quality will pull through and make something special.

BROOKING EMERALD 9179 - FULL SIB TO 1197

Lot 90 - 92 Preg Recips - An awesome opportunity here with 943K, she has a big time embryo in her and is a top quality female from the famous MVF program … Rainfall x Firebrand x Tibbie cow family! 104J is a direct daughter of Kargo 215U, who is a strong female maker that Kevin Blair was always bragging on through Facebook. This is a good udder, big middled and good one. And for 2139, those Anderson females are not only productive, they are sticky (very fertile) catching a high % of embryos tossed at them.

Rose 8550 is medium framed, big bodied, with the undeniable Rose 1019 look. We purchased these embryos upon seeing Donna 1448 down at Coleman Angus for their 2023 Maternal Source Sale. She is an outstanding Natural Law daughter out of the great Donna 439, making 1448 a maternal sib to Glacier 041. These pregnancies by the breeding sensation, the outcross, Hummel South America are truly exciting and are guaranteed to be a quick ROI!

PEDIGREE PEDIGREE PEDIGREE. While that is not all that Donna 2455 has to offer, she certainly does have one of the best. This young female is going to be one of our go to Angus donors going forward and when you lay eyes on her, its obvious why. Her donor dam, Donna 787 is now deceased and was one of Larry Coleman’s absolute favourite females. This past fall, Ingram Angus sold 1/2 interest in a maternal sister to 2455 for $75,000 USD to Southall. This is a female with a pedigree that is worth tying into. Her pregnant recip by Clear Cut, the big time successful show bull, will be an interesting, but profitable mating. Her embryos by sexed SAV Panther 1906 is sure to click and the way the Panther females have sold this last year, you are going to be in great shape! Get in on the ground floor of Donna 2455!

Upon our arrival at ZWT for their 2023 production sale, we quickly found Eldorene 8229 and were very intrigued. She is a big bodied, stout made, attractive looking donor with strong feet and and awesome, level udder. She has a very outcross pedigree and is a unique breeding tool that we can’t wait to see what she can produce. Her pregnancy and embryos by the $70,000 Coleman Mendoza 271 has us fired up and we think combining the great Donna 5247 with Eldorene 8229 is going to be very exciting. We also have embryos here by Duff Napoleon 232 who has been an impactful sire made famous at Blair’s.Ag. Either sex by these matings is sure to be highly marketable and profitable for your operation.

How to Bid:

Option 1 - utilize the bms industry-leading order buying

services. Contact a Bohrson Marketing member and we will bid for you in a professional and confidential manner.

Option 2 - bid online with www.DLMS.ca

First time FarmgGate users:

- First time users will select the REGISTER button from this page. Fill out the registration form to signup for a free user account and it allows you to select a username and password for use on all Farm Gate Timed auctions. (please note due to some of the text notification features the FarmGate Time Auction Site requires a new account separate account from your DLMS Live sale site)

- After you create your FarmGate account you will receive a txt message with a pin code to verify your account.

- On your first log in to FarmGate Timed auctions we recommend you go to your profile and confirm your notifications are set to YES. This allows the site to send you text and/or email notifications when you are out bid and if there is activity on your favourite lots.

How to Bid in a Timed Auction

Now that you are logged in and your account phone number / email is verified you are able to bid on an upcoming sale. Simply find the lot you are interested in bidding on. After you have found the lot there are 2 options for bidding on the lot.

- Place Next Bid – to place the next bid on the item, you see the amount in the first box, you simply click the “Place Bid” button and after you review the bid and agree to the terms and conditions your bid will be placed.

- Max Bid Amount – to place a max bid you put your max bid in the second box listed as “Max Bid” on the item, and then click the “Place Bid” button and after you review the bid and agree to the terms and conditions your bid will be placed as the next bid. With the Max Bid placed the computer will then keep you as the high bidder to the max amount you have placed. This can be a great feature if you are not able to give 100% attention to the sale close out and protect your interest so you do not miss out on any lots you want to purchase. The Max Bid amount is completely confidential from the seller during the sale process.

Example of How the Max Bid Works - If the lot has a $2000 bid on it and you place a proxy bid of $3500 into the system, the computer will bid $2100 for you but if some one else bids $2200, the computer will again bid for you, this time at $2300. The system will look after your interest to a maximum of $3500. If another bidder is on at $3600, your proxy will no longer be effective and you will no longer have the winning bid on this lot without once again logging in and bidding again or moving your attention to a second lot of interest. Please note that in some cases a lot value can change very quickly if 2 max bids are placed on the same lot competing against each other.

Watch List Feature

If you have items in multiple auctions or only a few from the same auction that you want to watch with out having to scroll through the entire list you can add the lots to your watchlist. On each lot you will see the “eye” button beside the bid button, by clicking this “watchlist” Icon that item is added to your personal watchlist for easy viewing of just your favorite lots in this sale or on the entire site.

What is Racehorse Style Close?

Racehorse style sale close is when the entire sale stays open in extended bidding. This type of sale allows you as the bidder to change to a different lot within the same sale if the bidding has gone in to extended bidding.

How will Extended Bidding works? When we get to the close out end time the clock for close extends with any bid placed with less than 5 min on the clock. This type of extended bidding turns the end time to more of a soft time. Extended bidding allows bidders to compete in lots like a real auction and give all bidders the same time to make a decision. Always follow the clock to see how much time remains in the sale you are interested in.

Bidding Close & Follow-up

After the clock has gone to “ENDED” and no bidding has occurred for 5 min the computer will declare the sale finished. Following the close typically within 24 hours of the sale close the sale consignor will contact all winning bidders to arrange payment, transfer of pedigrees and delivery/Pick up of your lot. Or as the winning bidding you can contact the sale consignor / sale manager to confirm payment instructions.

- Please make sure that your account info is up-to-date and correct if you are the winning bidder of a lot as this is how the billing is sent to Sale manager and/or Sale consignor.
