BOHRSON welcome from marketing services
Welcome to the 2024 edition of the Ladies Of The Peace. This 3rd annual event is an exciting female sale in the Peace Country that features the finest Simmental, Angus and Red Angus genetics with a select group of commercial females. This years offering is a diverse one and offers something for everyone and we are pleased to welcome you to the new location, Evergreen Park in Grande Prairie on December 2nd.
The Simmental portion of this catalogue features fancy open heifers that are a combination of new, fresh genetics as well as proven ones. The bred heifers are extremely powerful and backed by consistent cow families. These girls are bred for profit and deserve serious evaluation.
The ever growing Angus section of this catalogue is as deep in quality as ever before. The breeders in the Angus portion really stepped up to offer the heart of their programs and we encourage you to study them hard. This year the commercial cattle on offer are from some of the strongest commercial cow herds in the Peace and are a chance to add some big time genetics to your operation.
We really hope you can join us to take in this exciting event at its new location in Grande Prairie at Evergreen Park. The breeders have all really worked hard to assemble quality stock and we know the combination of the hospitality and cattle will be top notch. Be sure to give any of the consignors a call to visit about the cattle on offer and their programs to see what animal may best suit your needs. If any of us from Bohrson Marketing can be of service, please don’t hesitate to contact us as we would be happy to assist in anyway.
Best Regards,

WILLOW CREEKsimmentals welcome
We would like to welcome you to the 3rd annual Ladies of the Peace female sale. It is exciting to see the sale take the next steps by adding a few more contributors to build or numbers up even more. The new location changed by bringing the sale to the great venue at Evergreen Park in Grande Prairie is exciting and will only add to the success of the sale. Another exciting change is bringing on the entire team at Bohrson Marketing to elevate the sale to a new level. We feel we have brought a group of females that represents our herd very well, they are sound structured females that will be productive as they age and prove some longevity by being good footed and should set into excellent udders. They are right from the heart of our breeding program. With the bred heifers being all bred to industry leading Ai calving ease bulls we feel this will create a very marketable first calf for the new owners. The heifer calves are tanky, long bodied and thick made; we believe they have everything to turn into top producing from pasture cows. Like last year we will also offer a group of open commercial heifers, this year they will be a set of black baldy heifers sired by a fullblood bull and off productive sim/angus cows. They are bred to be extremely maternal, good producing females that we hate to see go. Please plan to join us Sunday December 1st for an evening social to view the females and socialize with the sales group. We always encourage visitors to stop by and tour the cow herd and see the program that backs these females. See you December 2nd in Grande Prairie.

Arguably one of the better Popeye daughters we have sold. No surprise that its backed by the great combo of Popeye and Lotto. This mating has been so dynamite and created more high selling bulls through the Northern Classic Bull sale than any other mating we’ve ever had. Jessie 53M is backed by a highly productive Lotto cow that might be the nicest uddered cow on the ranch. 53M herself is a stout made heifer with an exceptional haircoat and really ties everything together in a sound made, attractive fronted package. This is a female that could be very competitive in the show ring, or just make a very productive cow for her new owner. This is the type we strive for.
Until we started getting into the catalog stuff, i truly didn’t realize how much influence traces back to the 406B cow that we acquired from the Twin Brae dispersal in Manitoba. You will see the feature 53M heifer calf and powerful 86K bred that is a feature in the red bred’s all trace back to 406B. Here is the only direct daughter we have ever sold and one we probably should be keeping given the cows age. 406M is a big and rugged made female that is the kind that we want when it comes producing these powerhouse black bulls that have been in high demand through the Northern Classic Bull sale year after year. She will be one of the first Lambeau daughters to sell and we feel she represents him very well.
Here comes a beautifully constructed female right from the heart of Kyle and Ashley herd. 24M is a rare daughter of the In Dew Time bull that is almost impossible to find semen on. She is exceptionally long, super stout made but still has that extension through her front third and feminine head. You can’t help but appreciate the udder structure and teat placement that 24M is setting up already. The most exciting piece about this heifer is she traces back to the old 34A cow. A cow that has done nothing but produced high end progeny year after year and to this day has perfect feet and they have never been touched. What an opportunity to tie into a powerful female with an outcross pedigree.
A big time performance heifer here. It truly is tough to make a female any longer made that is wide topped and sound structured. The foot quality on 300M is as good as it gets, something that Lambeau is really putting his stamp on. All 3 Lambeau daughters in the sale are excellent footed and have added performance, something we truly appreciate with him. 300M is a direct ET daughter of the the highly productive 44B cow that simply produces the best year after year and now her daughters are following suite. Over the few bull sales the grand sons of 44B to sell are averaging nearly $12000. Were trying to retain as many 44B daughters as possible so this may be the only daughter ever offered for sale. A ¾ sister to 300M and daughter of 44B is quickly rising the ranks and would be considered 1 of our top 2 red cows in the herd right now. Were all in the market for raising big herd bulls and this is one that’s going to do exactly that.
We really like this Slider daughter and is a true testament to the type of females that Slider will sire. 85K really reminds us a lot of the lead off LOP female we sold last year to Andrews Cattle Co, interestingly enough they both trace back to our top donor cow Linnette 101C. This would be our highest regarded cow family here at Willow Creek. Her dam would be ranked as one of our favorite Popeye daughters in the herd. 85K herself is a big barreled, heavy haired, moderate made female that has an extremely strong foot structure under her. You can mate her a ton of different ways and reap the rewards of our best cow family. AI BRED TO HART STATE OF WAR 056C ON APRIL 1, 2024 (SAFE). Exposed to NUG Dunlop 11L from April 5 to May 25.
This December born KWA Future heifer has been a pen favorite from an early age and rightfully so. She’s a high capacity, soggy and thick made heifer that is just what we strive to produce. When you analyze her, you will be attracted to her structural soundness, excellent udder she’s setting up and over all feminine look. We have always believed you have to sell the good ones to show off your program and 86K is exactly that. You will notice she’s backed by the Jessie cow family that has a great impact on our 2024 offering here, interestingly enough she’s just in a red package. Again she carries the early service to Shamrock, another mating that we feel can make for a quick return and wish wasn’t leaving the ranch.
AI BRED TO KWA SHAMROCK 151H ON MARCH 29, 2024 (SAFE). Exposed to MMWK Slider 71L from April 5 to May 20.
Definitley a sale feature that we are super excited to have as part of our LOP offering this year. A big, performance-oriented daughter of the popular ai sire MRL Playmaker that comes in a cherry red and blaze faced package. We wish we had a full pen of females that looked like this. 103L is a bigger framed, extra-long made females that is still deep made and attractive in her make up. Foot quality runs deep in this cow family, as do udders and the most important part is they all make exceptional momma cows. We flushed her dam due to her shear production record and raising good honest, structurally sound progeny year after year. Bred early to the exciting dark red, calving ease sire KWA Shamrock is icing on the cake. A personal favorite and one that will prove a quick ROI. AI BRED TO KWA SHAMROCK 151H ON MARCH 27, 2024 (SAFE). Exposed to MMWK Slider 71L from April 5 to May 20.
Another one of these moderate, tanky made females that we really like. Sired by Slider again and we really appreciate the foot quality that Slider passes onto his progeny. 110L has a ton of character and presence to her as she prances the pasture. The grand dam to 110L is one of our favorite Lotto cows, only adding to her value. A deep bodied, calving ease based female that has a world of mating opportunities. The breeding to the popular black baldy Captain Blaze bull could create a cool first calf and quick ROI.
AI BRED TO SUNRISE CAPTAIN BLAZE 5C ON MARCH 28, 2024 (SAFE). Exposed NUG Dunlop 11L from April 5 to May 25.
Fancy, Fancy, Fancy!! A definite sale feature, not just because of her pretty markings but she is an absolute powerhouse. Tons of muscle shape and width over the top, long bodied, attractive fronted and presence, and is setting up an gorgeous udder already. This Connected daughter is backed by a highly productive cow we purchased a number of years ago from Hampton Simmentals; at the very first Ladies of the Peace sale a maternal sister to 112L was the lead off black females going to Mader Ranches. She was bred early to KWA Slider, at preg testing our vet was hesitant to confirm her safe to Ai but we watch fairly closely and never seen her come back at all.
AI BRED TO KWA SLIDER 196H ON MARCH 30, 2024. EXPOSED TO MMWK SLIDER 71L FROM APRIL 5 TO MAY 20.
This is a big framed, extra long made female that will definitely add performance. She is a full sister to our past high selling bull, Lambeau, who topped the Northern Classic at $20,000 to our good friends at Polar Farms. You will see Lambeau’s influence throughout our offering this year. Another full sister was our best bred in the keeper pen last fall and her full brother is an absolute stud in the bull pen this year that we are extremely excited about. He will be part of our display team at the Beef Congress this winter. Mated up to KWA Slider will compliment 115L very well.
AI BRED TO KWA SLIDER 196H ON MARCH 28, 2024 (SAFE) Exposed to MMWK Slider 71L from April 5 to May 20.
Big time performance female here sired by the Lambeau bull we sold a few years back to Polar Farms and were lucky enough to retain semen on. As you will see by the Lambeau progeny in the offering he adds frame and performance and puts extremely good feet on all of his progeny. We have been very impressed with our Lambeau’s. Last year we sent a maternal sister as the second leadoff female to Johnson Ranching. 121L can be mated a lot of different ways and will add some size and foot quality to her calves. She is the bull producing type.
AI BRED TO KWA SLIDER 196H ON MARCH 22, 2024 (SAFE) Exposed to MMWK Slider 71L from April 5 to May 20.
We really wanted to be apart of growing the angus division part of the sale and feel that 132L is a great way to do that. She will be the very first angus female offered from Willow Creek. 132L is stacked with maternal greatness with many of the top cows in the Poplar Meadows herd built into he pedigree. When you add the likes of Bravo, Basin Payweight and Final Answer you know she’s going to be a great cow. 132L herself is a moderate made females with tons of capacity and setting down a beautiful udder. We would rank her dam very high in our angus herd and one with future donor potential. Bred up nice and early to Belvin May City, a mating we are excited for.
AI BRED TO BELVIN MAY CITY 0136 ON MARCH 21, 2024 (SAFE)
Exposed to MMWK Slider 71L from April 5 to May 20.
ALBRECHT farms welcome
Welcome to the 3rd annual Ladies of the Peace female sale. Us consigners have put together another strong group of females this year as we look to build on last year’s success. With cattle prices at an all-time high, it’s nice to see the cattle producers rewarded for all their hard work throughout the year.

When the Bohrson team announced they would be having a sale featuring cattle from the great Jenna/Flirt cow families the anticipation grew as I waited patiently for the catalog to be released. Both these cow families have always been high on my list of new genetics I wanted to bring back to the herd, well when the gavel dropped on that prestigious day, GVR Certainly Flirtin 60H was heading North to Albrecht Farms. 60H is royally bred and is backed by some of the best cow power in the Simmental breed. 17L is a spitting image of her dam, a very feminine female who is attractive through her front third, awesome footed, and has those big fluffy Flirt ears. A bit of an outcross on the top side being sired by SSC Shell Shocked 44B who has worked great for us as a CE option. With the maternal power behind this cow, this a no guesswork type female that has a big future at her new home. Homo Polled by Parentage.

HOMO POLLED Here’s the powerhouse of the offering. Sadie is dark red, long bodied, big ribbed, great footed and looks to be laying down a perfect udder. Her dam was purchased from the Sunney Valley program as I’ve always admired the Sadie cow family. Like 104K, she’s very impressive in her makeup and always raises one the top calves year after year. This will be the 3rd year in a row where are feature bred heifer will be out of SVS Tycoon 841F. With limited semen left on Tycoon we should probably be holding onto more of these daughters, but our loss is your gain. Bred to our CE herdsire Circle G Kentucky 52K who has done a great job on his first calf crop, this one should be a quick ROI.
AI bred to Springcreek Maverick 48H on April 7. EXPOSED TO CIRCLE G KENTUCKY 52K FROM APRIL 11 TO JUNE 1. OBSERVED BRED ON APRIL 25, IN VETS OPINION SAFE TO THIS DATE.
Here’s a heifer that were extremely proud to offer and will be a no doubt sale feature on Dec. 2nd. I admire her overall power, performance and muscle. Her dam IPU 43G was selected from the great Labatte program and was a cow family that I’m glad I pursued. She’s matured into beautiful female that excels in phenotype, foot quality and has an ideal udder type. 43G will be moved into the donor pen this spring and flushed extensively. We purchased a semen pack on the sire, Sun Rise Legal Custody 28H at the Sun Rise dispersal. His calves are outstanding with our top bull calf also being sired by Legal Custody. If you look at the maternal power bred into this great female and analyze her in person, it won’t take you long to figure out this one is destined for great things! Homo Polled by Parentage.
Here’s a fancy made red baldy with a striking presence to her. 19M is very clean through her front third, has a ton of hair, strong footed, comes halter broke and ready for the show ring. Her dam is a beautiful IPU Bentley 81F daughter that we purchased at the inaugural LOP sale from Jaydawn Farms. She has matured into an outstanding cow, and we expect RST Pepsi to be no different. Sired by our walking herd sire SAJ Hatchet 48J who has done a great job adding length and muscle while maintaining moderate BW’s. This one would be a fun junior project. Homo Polled Test Pending.
FALLEN TIMBER farms welcome
For the 3rd edition of the LOP we are extremely excited to showcase new genetics on offer that are consistently rising to the top of our operation. These females are ranch raised in real conditions, bush grass, clay dugouts, drought, and heavy rotation to keep in front of what little grass and water there was this past year. Rest assured that hardiness and ‘do-ability’ is bred right into these girls. We are genuine people with a strong belief in good honest cattle that make money, and those selected in this offering are sure to do just that. These females have been selected based on the hallmarks of our program, namely structural correctness, temperament, and durability. Our goal is to produce females which are versatile and built to last, raising functional and profitable offspring along the way. The open females were weaned mid-September and were pictured 21 days off grass with a 10lb/day barley-pellet ration hand feeding, in addition to TMR pea-straw/haylage mix, and are on a total herd health vaccination protocol with Express 5 VL5/ Fermcon7 boosters applied in September, along with Lutalyse to ensure open verified. The breds on offer came in from pasture and were clipped that night with pictures the following day on October 9th, and are on an annual Spring Triangle 10/Ultrachoice 8 vaccination protocol. Should you have any questions about our program or the females on offer please do not hesitate to contact us.

Miss Whiskey 1K is a really correct female with a fantastic attitude, back to a very good Anchor D cow that we talked Danny into parting with several years ago. At FTF we are big on cow families and most of my descriptions land in talking about the cow behind the lot on offer, and here is no exception. Cierra 7C is a bull maker for sure with a couple bulls working big operations in the Peace, so when a daughter pops up it is rare we will part with her. Talking about the lot herself, FTF 1K is a great example of purebred genetics at work – angular, feminine, big middle and super correct set. Sired by our infamous MRL Whiskey 54D, 1K is certainly a female we are struggling to part with, and should give hardy big middled calves for years to come.
Exposed to MRL Authenticator from March 17 to April 11. THEN EXPOSED TO FTF LOUIE 556L FROM APRIL 12 TO JUNE 5, 2024. OBSERVED BRED APRIL 19 TO FTF LOUIE 556L, and Ultrasound safe to this breeding date.
HOMO POLLED DILUTION FREE
This big red girl is the type we really try to make when building cornerstone females for the north. Broody, long, deep and full of capacity in all the right areas, 11L is backed by the same sort of matriarch out of the last set of great Tymarc replacement heifers. TYS 921G (dam) is a solid red balanced female, moderate in udder suspension and very square, with an exceptional attitude. This red bred heifer is an exciting girl to place on offer as we are so happy with the Northstar females working in our own herd, and just love when we get these nice red females from the mating. Confirmed bred to Authenticator, I am very excited about the future calf, as the Northstar X Authenticator calves we have on the ground are exceptional.
EXPOSED TO MRL AUTHENTICATOR FROM MARCH 17 TO APRIL 11, then exposed to FTF Louie 556L from April 12 to June 5, Observed bred March 19 to MRL Authenticator 16J, and Ultrasound safe for this breeding date.
Here is a real tank of a brood cow prospect that leads off our Black Bred offering this year. Miss Daredevil is thick made in her middle and hind third but carries a nice clean front and feminine neck/head. Her spring of rib is ample, and although she is a big made power female, she travels out effortlessly on big square feet and a strong leg. On the top side of her pedigree, MRL Daredevil is a bull that did really well in our herd, leaving excellent replacement females that work hard and are near perfect in the feet and leg department, and 12K’s dam can be described the exact same way.
Exposed to MRL Authenticator from March 17 to April 11. THEN EXPOSED TO FTF LOUIE 556L FROM APRIL 12 TO JUNE 5, 2024. OBSERVED BRED APRIL 15 TO FTF LOUIE 556L, and Ultrasound safe to this breeding date.
13K is a well-made moderate framed black female that is full of capacity, has exceptional udder suspension and teat placement, and correct legs. She tracks out perfectly on a nice square foot, and is one of these females that seems to always get a second look on pasture. Her dam is a unique red blaze female with a twist in her own pedigree going back to a really good full-blood cow that has done excellent things in our herd. Her sire Northstar (49G) was injured way to soon in his career for us to fully realize his potential, but in a few short season, he left his mark, and 13K is a hard girl for us to part with as the cows working in our herd are standouts as mothers, milking hard and travelling out on perfect feet.
Exposed to MRL Authenticator from March 17 to April 11. THEN EXPOSED TO FTF LOUIE 556L FROM APRIL 12 TO JUNE 5, 2024. Ultrasound safe for mid February breeding date in vet’s opinion.
With the World Simmental Congress in Canada this year which we were lucky enough to participate in, a lot of new friends were made and we were fortunate enough to humbly tour some great people through our pastures following the main event. An open heifer that always caught attention for the right reasons on our tours, was Lainey. Thick quartered, wide topped, feminine but powerful; she has the bells and whistles. 77L is sired by our rising star Stratton son directly from the great folks at Robb Farms, and was raised by her rock solid red momma cow Apricot which is as dependable and consistent as they get. Apricot is a big footed heavy milking brood type cow that raises them right in the North, regardless of the conditions.
$3,100
23 FTF Madeline 157M
Deep dark red, stylish, and effortless in motion all with an outcross in the pedigree, Madeline’s breeding is something we have proven in our own herd, as a winning combination. Our numerous mating’s to the now well established Virginia Madden 338H, has produced 2 consecutive high sellers in our Spring Select Bull Sale, and Madeline has the same ingredients for greatness. She is long as a ‘Well Rope’, with possibly the biggest hip I have seen in a weaned heifer, which sure makes me look forward to seeing her as a mature momma cow. Her super feminine front third and tidy head are icing on the cherry red cake. Her dam is a super well-made big bodied Tymarc female with style to burn and a moderate udder always right full of milk. 157M is a good one.
Misty turned heads all summer on pasture, and continues to do so now she is back home. So deep, thick, yet classy, she looks like she belongs in a show ring, but grew just right on the bush grass in severe drought like nothing was a concern; her hardiness is evident. This pedigree is something we are especially proud of, in that the Northstar X Authenticator cattle are so darn good. Consistent in type and shape, they are heavily muscled but soggy, and have tremendous middle capacity. For tank type cattle, these rascals sure move out well and have a presence that is undeniable. Misty’s momma cow hit it out of the park on her first outing, and to her credit her own pedigree makes this a logical outcome, with the legendary 812U cow as a great grand dam. We have not sold an Authenticator female to date as we are so fond of them, so this girl is a tough one to part with for sure.
When buying new sires, we labor and debate over every detail in best efforts to speculate the best possible outcome in their first breeding. We did just that when landing on 137M’s sire, Crossroad Construido (Connected Son), and what a pleasant surprise the first set of calves were. Powerful, long, balanced, muscular and growthy, all coming easy at birth and developing just right every step of the way. 137M is a huge middle female with a ‘4H’ attitude that makes her such a pleasure to have in the front pen; she is a real pet. Tracking out really nicely on ample foot, it is really evident Construido had a major impact on the phenotype here. Marmalade’s dam is a dark red hardy made female with huge middle, and a very square moderate udder.
WILLOWDALE simmentals
On behalf of Willowdale Simmentals, we are pleased to be a part of, and welcome everyone to the 2024 edition of “Ladies of the Peace” 3rd annual female sale. We have been raising, breeding and selling purebred Simmentals for over 35 years in the Peace Country. The focus within our own herd has been homozygous animals with longevity, udder quality, excellent foot structure and maternal strength. The bred heifers and yearling heifers that we have consigned here today are a variety from our top end red division, that we feel are supportive of those strengths we strive for.
Our past and present walking herd sires have come from leading breeders such as: Labatte Simmentals, Sunny Valley Simmentals, McMillan Ranching, Ashworth Farms, Springcreek Simmentals, Circle G Simmentals and Blackgold Simmentals. We have a full herd health protocol, with up to date shots, and all females have been pregnancy tested as stated. We recently were fortunate enough to have bought a semen package this spring on Mader Folsom Prison 66L to use on all of our heifers. We feel this young Hetro Black “Walk the Line” son has the right calving ease to use on heifers and add that power pedigree also. We have bulls and females for sale on the farm, feel free to stop in anytime to view and take a personal tour. Look forward to seeing everyone in Grande Prairie.

We have 160 head of cattle with about 130 of them being registered Angus, (mostly red & afew black). We have sourced and built our registered herd from top production and dispersal sales and the prestigious Red Round-Up sales. Our heifers are abit greener than the grass was this summer, but we are confident in the cows these 3 heifer calves will make for their new owners! We have a wide variety of genetics, to cover all of our customers needs. From moderate framed heifer bull makers to growthy scale benders, and always having great feet, udders and temperament the top priorities. We are passionate about our cattle and enjoy visiting old, new and potential customers, so if you have a question about our program or our heifers, give us a call or stop by for coffee and we can show you their dams, their paternal brothers in the bull pen and our herd bulls.

RED RAFTER SJ PAMELA 11M has brood cow written all over her! She has superb bone, great length and a thick hair coat. Her sire is the well proven RED BIEBER ROUGH RIDER 10712, most notably know as the grandsire of RED BIEBER ROLLIN DEEP Y118. We had 4 Rough Rider daughters this year and they are all “WOW”! We just sold one in the Red Round-Up sale and she had alot of admirers and sold for $11,000. Her dam is an ASSASSIN daughter. She is a super quiet cow with a beautiful frame from every angle. RED RAFTER SJ PAMELA 11M weighed 710lbs on September 10th.
RED RAFTER SJ LASS 26M is a moderate and very feminine heifer with tremendous dark feet with added heel. We acquired a bit of semen from her sire RED U2 CLOUD 9 363F at their sale, and sure wish we had more. Her dam is a SILVEIRAS MISSION NEXUS daughter, who is hard to find a fault. RED RAFTER SJ LASS 26M weighed 670lb on September 10th.
RED RAFTER SJ MS REDMAN 35M is a dark red, powerful and tanky heifer with a sweet front end and an extra large foot. Her sire RED DKF RACER 8E put on some miles in 2017, 2018 and 2019 from the IPE in Armstrong BC to Agribition in Regina, with too many Champion banners to name. RACER daughters are known to make awesome cows. Her dam is a big cow with an impeccable pedigree, including XO CROWFOOT 0102x and REDMAN! RED RAFTER SJ MS REDMAN 35M weighed 745lbs on September 10th.
KEEN industries anguswelcome
Keen Industries Angus is excited to be a new consignor in the 3rd Annual Ladies of the Peace sale. We first got into purebred Angus cattle to build some bulls for our commercial cow herd and it has grown from there. Kim has a strong interest in the genetics and enjoys seeing how that translates into physical traits. We strive for females that are well-rounded, moderate framed and easy fleshing with sound temperaments. The heifers are pictured out on pasture as we are maximizing this year’s grass but will be clipped and halter broke prior to sale day. Weaning weights will be available shortly and will be posted on our Facebook page or call and ask. We are located northwest of Fort St John, BC and would welcome anyone that would like to come out and view our cattle. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

This dark red heifer is out of one of our quietest and most gentle cows. Her sire is a home raised AI son of Musgrave 316 Colossal 137. He is moderate framed and thick with an excellent temperament and solid feet. This heifer will make a great outcross addition to someone’s herd.
We are really enjoying these Red Bieber CL Energize F121 babies that we had this year. This is stout heifer with a strong topline and good bone. Her dam catches on the first cycle either AI or walking bull every year since she was a heifer and maintains very good condition while raising a solid calf.
This showy RB Tour of Duty 177 daughter is straight out of our keeper pen and is a hard one to let go, but we wanted to showcase our top end. Her dam is descended from the famous Annie K cow family and it shows. She is long bodied and deep with a gentle disposition. Her dam has consistently delivered low birth weight calves that get up and grow and has a fantastic udder.

LAZY B livestock welcome
We are very thankful to be back again for the 3rd Annual Ladies of the Peace Sale. We are once again very excited to share with you some of our finest hand selected heifers that strongly represent our program. We raise our angus cattle keeping in mind ease of handling and safety without jeopardizing the fundamentals; structure, growth potential, calving ease and fertility. We believe our commitment to tie breaking and halter breaking our sale heifers will benefit your operation by producing predictable and profitable cattle. We are very “hands on” with our animals, by visually heat detecting and AI-ing without the aid of a Sync program. At the end of May the tank is put away and the females are exposed to reputable, calving ease sires.
Our heifers on offer today are all registered and parent verified ,aiding in docility within the herd environment. They have been hand groomed, hand fed with other livestock and are accustomed to people and dogs.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions about our program. We look forward to seeing you at the sale!
Roxi is a SAV Radiance daughter. We have had good luck with Radiance producing great males and females. Radiance has an outstanding phenotype showcasing some of the best natural muscle and shape in a calving ease bull. He has provided his calves with a tremendous, sound structure, solid disposition and outstanding feet and legs. We love this deep sided, fleshy, correct heifer. On her maternal side you will see names such as Bismark, OCC Doctor and Pioneer. The breeding is there on this heifer so she will make someone a great cow.
Jasmine is a daughter of SAV Jesse James. Known for his stellar phenotype, powerful performance, herd changing properties and breed impacting potential, he demonstrates power and structural balance. Looking up this sire’s pedigree you will find iconic legendary names, such as Renown, Renovation, Blackcap and Traveler. Jasmine is a deep sided, smooth heifer with tonnes of volume that stands alert and proud. Jasmine and Jubilee Dams are full maternal sisters that have proven themselves to stay in our herd inventory. She will make a great addition to any herd.
Jessie is another daughter out of Jesse James. She stems from our Eileen and Tilly cow families. Jessie’s grand dam was our first cow to make Elite/Premier Dam status with the Canadian Angus Association. She is smooth balanced, sure footed with great udder development. Her cow family has always been docile and very easy to manage and halter break. That cow family continues to make replacement heifers and bulls for us year after year, Jessie is no exception to this rule. We struggle to let her go as we sold her maternal sister last year at this very sale. The breeding is there for this heifer to become a great cow.
Jubilee is the youngest heifer we have on offer, born to our herd sire Cool Change. Cool Change goes back to the Northline Cool Cat family and Northline Bardella Cow family. Jubilees dam is a SAV Harvestor daughter, who is known to be a true breed changer and a performance powerhouse. Longevity is very present in this heifer as we still have her Exar Upshot granddam and her Hoover Dam great-grand dam in our herd producing quality calves. We really appreciate this heifer for her structural balance and feminine traits, we hope you do as well.

Here is an easy keeping, and smooth moving bred heifer out of Valley Blossom Blaster 702H, a bull we have been using for several years that has proven to be a real female maker. Ring Creek Delia 3L is a heifer that has been such a blast watching develop this summer, as she has become a powerful female that has great feet, deep ribs, the start of a gorgeous udder and a phenotype that does nothing but excite! No special treatment either, she was out on pasture all summer earning her keep. We have a full sister that is a first calf heifer here on the farm that is right at the top of the pack and has become a favourite, proving this cross is one that doesn’t disappoint. Bred to Coleman Triumph 9145, this heifer will be a great addition to any program and pack a punch for years to come.
AI BRED TO COLEMAN TRIUMPH 9145 ON MAY 31. Exposed to Ring Creek Merle 4J from June 6th to July 15th.

This is an excellent pen of sim x angus heifers that are sired by a highly maternal Fullblood bull that we sold to Todd Donaldson and were lucky enough to bring back and use. He was a Bee Element son, some of the very best cows in our herd are Element daughters. These 3 black baldies are all mothers by Sim angus crossed cows that are right in the heart of our commercial program. We wish we were keeping these beautiful fleck cross females as we are very confident in how good of cows they will make.
