As you study the catalogue you will notice many bulls that are half or full brothers via embryo transplant. This provides you a great opportunity to utilize closely related bulls to breed some consistency and uniformity into your calf crop. Both programs believe in utilizing the very best AI and walking herd bulls available and we feel that is very evident in this set of bulls. New this year we are excited to have a select pair of open, papered heifers from the heart of the Willerton program.

Free delivery to central points in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. We will try our best to deliver them right to your yard. Cost shared arrangements can be made to other destinations. Delivery date is at seller’s convenience.
PURCHASERS RISK
All bulls become the risk of the purchaser at the close of the sale and must be insured if they are being left at the farm.
If you are unable to view the bulls in person call Dean, Trevor or any of the BMS staff. They will go over the bulls with you and recommend the ones that will suit your needs. Bulls bought sight unseen are guaranteed to meet your approval when delivered.

U.S. PURCHASES
Exchange rate will be announced sale day. On any animal that is to be exported we will require $400 to cover the costs of all of the vet charges. Testing will not take place until payment is made in full. We will work with the purchaser on a cost shared basis of getting the bull delivered after he has been paid in full and passed all tests.
BULL DEVELOPMENT
Millington bulls are developed on pail fed bull developer ration and self feed grass/alflalfa hay. Willerton bulls are pail fed stage one. Then, bulls are fed a stage two bull developer ration from Masterfeeds until approximately January 1. Then they are pail fed oat chop until delivery along with self feed grass/alfalfa hay.

• For our herd health and semen testing needs we deal with Dr. Laurie Zemlak based out of Bar Z Veterinary Services. At birth the bulls receive Inforce 3, Vitamin AD, Dysotel (Vitamin E and selenium).

Check, Cash or e-transfer due sale day unless earlier arrangements have been made. Ownership will not change and papers will not be transferred until settlement has been made.
GUARANTEE
• All animals will carry the standard breeding guarantee as specified by the Canadian Simmental Association (CSA). At no time shall the sellers liability exceed the purchase price of the animal.
• This does not cover death, injury, sickness or mismanagement.

First of all we would like to say a huge thank you to all of the bidders and buyers on all of our live and frozen genetics lots in 2024 as we truly appreciate every single one of you. Also a big thanks to Trevor, Debbie And Rylie for being such great partners again this year.
The cattle industry right now is a great place to be, as being someone who was a teenager when BSE hit and learning the industry through all the down times its truly gratifying to see this much optimism today.
This year our offering is far and away our strongest set of bulls yet backed by the best cows we own. Seven of the eight yearling bulls are either ET calves of the natural calves of our donors. Highlighted by our first calf crop of our newest donor, IPU Tula 104Z who we purchased from the Rplus dispersal a couple falls ago with our good friends Lyseng Land and Cattle. 104Z has four ET calves, our mainstay herd matron MRL 6778D has her natural calf and an ET and Beth Dutton 255J has her natural born bull calf in the sale. Our offering consists of four black yearlings, four red yearlings and our red four-year-old herd bull.
As for the family the girls are growing up fast. Maren is busy with 4-H, baseball, dance, curling and volleyball. Brooke is enjoying her first year of dance while she stays busy with 4-H and curling during the rest of the year. Lila is now two-and-ahalf and keeping us all on our toes as she grows like a weed.
This year we will not be having a “open house” but the bulls are always available for viewing and the coffee is always on.

He was the bull that we took out this fall and had on display being very competitive and winning the Simmental division of the King of the Ring in Yorkton. When we get down to the bull himself he is flat out my type. Bigger framed, long bodied, big top, square hipped, good footed and has that look at me presence that Tula 104Z throws in her progeny. When we acquired 104Z we knew we had to flush her back to Betts. 9M the Walk the Line red baldy is the second calf featured out of our Tula 104Z donor cow. He is only second in the line up because we can’t have two firsts. From the very beginning it has been 8M and 9M standing side by side at the top of the pen and I personally can’t pick a favourite between the two. 9M is a tank, stout right throughout, big hipped, with a smooth extended front end. Add a breed leading set of epd’s and just a 89lb birthweight. Take all that into consideration add the fact the both Darlin 613D and Tula 104Z are in the pedigree this guys should throw females with amazing udders. 12M is the result of a embryo we purchased from the RPlus dispersal. Being a Reddington he is the most moderate of the four Tula 104z bull calves in the pen. His sire LFE Redwood 840H is a larger framed performance bull much like Blackwood himself. Redwood 840H had sired set of bred females that sold in Lewis Farms annual female sale that we very well accepted by the industry averaging $15000. 2M does have the tiniest of white socks on his one back foot.

This is a mating that has worked out real well for us, there are is a full brother working at Wadella Ranch and a full sister at High Bluff Stock Farms. We just had two other full sibs calve out here in early January and I could make a more perfect udder if I tried. This guy is made to add length and pounds but his true calling will be in the females he leaves in his new owner's herd.

Here is a unique opportunity to acquire our walking herd bull in the prime of his life. Distinct was purchased from MRL in 2022. He posses a look at me presence in a dark red package and his dam is a top end donor cow from Bouchard livestock. Since then he has spent his time breeding here and covering cows at Blake Macmillan’s. He has thrown calves true to his color and design. Most of his calves come dark red with the same style and presence he possess. True to form when you have a high end bull you keep a bunch of females off him so now is the time for him to head out to a new operation. Last year we had a highlight black baldy bull in the sale, sell to Stan Macmillan. This fall we had a heifer off him in our Agribition string that placed second in class and sold for $10000 in The Associate Invitational sale to Ryan Grindheim.
As we go into 2025 and our annual bull sale, we would like to thank our previous buyers and bidders for their support in our program. It is greatly appreciated. This might be the darkest red bull I have ever seen. SAJ Hinsdale female is a no miss young cow. This is her natural calf off of a bull we raised and used ourselves (RWS Klondike 43K). RWS Klondike is a KWA Canam son out of the high selling bred from Rainbow River Simmentals Production Sale for that year, a Wheatland Red Express out of LXR Reeba. 89M is super long, very smooth made, with lots of muscle, and moves out very well. Who doesn’t want a dark red, maternally stacked, and quiet as a puppy bull in their pasture.

The last daughter we sold from KWA Ms Authority 55D brought $21,000 from John Beechnoir and Ag Land Farms. 55D was a special female in her very short time on this earth, producing a grand champion bull at Lloydminster and many high selling bulls and females for us. The Red Express daughters have excellent udders and work well in our herd. Selling 37M might be a mistake, but you can’t keep them all. Her full sister had a bull calf on January 2, 2025, be sure to watch for him in next year’s bull sale. This is a proven pedigree, so you can bid with confidence.

A Walk The Line daughter out of a Crimson Tide female, we purchased from Rainbow River Simmentals as a calf, who has outdone herself every year of production. Her first calf sold to Hoffus Stock Farms at Agribition and is working well for them. This female will be a great cow in the future and will become a great bull producer. She took a not so good picture because she is so quiet we could not get her to lift her head up no how.
