THE EVENT CONSIGNORS WELCOME FROM
We are pleased to welcome everyone to the 5th edition of The Event Bull and Female sale! We were overwhelmed by the support last year and would like to thank everyone who bid on or purchased a bull or heifer, as well as everyone who made the time to attend the sale.
Newly this year we are very excited to host everyone on farm at Southpaw Cattle Company! This move allows us to pen the bulls in larger groups outside where they will be more comfortable, all while hosting everyone inside so they can enjoy our first-class hospitality. We are thrilled to have Kodiak Catering back to provide lunch on sale day. We are delighted to once again offer up some commercial heifers from Brad and Shane Lutz. These heifers are sired by “Event” herdbulls purchased in previous sales.
I always feel like a broken record when I sit down to write this, but this group of consigners really continues to raise the bar with their offering. This certainly is the strongest set of bulls to date. Whether you are after Red, Black or Fleckvieh, there is guaranteed to be a bull that will fit your program. This group is always working hard to move their respective programs forward and producing offspring that is right for the times and will help advance your program as well. Please do not hesitate to reach out to the consigners with any questions regarding their offerings.
2024 certainly had its weather challenges, but all that was quickly forgotten about when the fall run started up. Once again prices were extremely strong, and it appears that trend is going to hold its course for 2025. I cannot recall a better time to be in the cattle business!
The bulls and open heifers in the pages following have been selected with
customer profitability in mind and have been raised to ensure reliability. Our success is directly tied to your success. We are very proud of the offering in our sale and are looking forward to serving our customers for the years to come. Every animal that sells in this sale will sell in its entirety and will be backed by the breeders.

CLEARWATER SIMMENTALS
Welcome to the 5th edition of The Event Bull and Female sale. We want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who has supported our program through bidding, buying and attending our sales over the years prior. This year’s sale is all about Rip Roaring; our polled senior herd sire who has done a tremendous job for us. We are calving out his first daughters and all we can say is WOW! We have some excellent sons on offer; both polled and horned. We also wish to introduce our heifer bull, MAVV Kagen, who we fondly call Mikey. His first offering of calving ease sons is sure to impress. With moving the sale date up, we bumped our weaning date to August 14th and we were impressed with the job the cows did in our dry conditions again. We are very pleased with the development of the group this year and welcome you to stop by anytime for a tour.
I don’t know where to begin with Max. His dam is a cow that we knew we needed to have the second the catalog was online. After seeing her, a few calls were made and we were extremely happy to own her along with our good friends at Beechinor Bros and Johnson Ranching. Max is her natural calf and what a job she did! Max is extremely well muscled, loads of depth and capacity, all standing on top of picture-perfect feet. I was absolutely thrilled when the results came back that he was homo polled! We truly believe Max has a big future ahead of him and is a bull that every program could benefit from. His pedigree is stacked with Fleckvieh greatness, and we believe he is the real deal. A sale feature here! Max has frozen semen and will come with 150 doses. Max checks all the boxes; you do not want to miss out on this opportunity! AUGUST 14 ACTUAL WEANING WEIGHT – 935LBS, DILUTOR FREE.

Walker is the kind of bull we were hoping we would get when we purchased Rip from Virginia Ranch. We wanted to make some powerful polled bulls that still had capacity and loose hide. Rip has not disappointed, 25M is a very attractive bull that has a powerful cow behind him. We purchased his dam from our good friends at MAVV Simmentals, this mating has really clicked, and we think Walker is a bull that will work anywhere. AUGUST 14 ACTUAL WEANING WEIGHT – 860LBS, DILUTOR FREE.
Dutton is a bull that catches everyone’s attention that tours the pen. He stands out with his pigmentation and soggy build. Like all the Rip sons, he has excellent feet. We are really impressed with the size of feet Rip has passed on to all his sons and we feel you can buy with confidence knowing longevity is bred into these bulls. 6M has a hard working dam that always seems to raise the good ones. Here is another powerful polled bull for you to consider on sale day. AUGUST 14 ACTUAL WEANING WEIGHT – 895LBS, DILUTOR FREE.
VIRGINIA RIP ROARING 734J
CLEARWATER KOURTNEY
Wheeler is a bull that continues to grow on me. All too often we are hard on calves that have that extra splash of white, but often they make up for it by rising to the top. 43M is no exception, excellent weaning weight and pushing down the scale for an actual yearling weight of 1390lbs. His pedigree is as powerful as he is, going back to our donor cow Bee Vixen. If you are looking to make some polled females for the keeper pen, take a hard look at Wheeler on sale day. AUGUST 14 ACTUAL WEANING

Western is a farm favorite around here. It’s no secret, we love to bring back some of the older Fleckvieh greats in our ET program and we are proud to have a 5Z daughter working in our herd. Western is a bull that will elevate the maternal strength in your program to another level. As I mentioned in our introduction, we are calving the first daughters sired by Rip and are extremely pleased. Crossing Rip with the maternal strength of Siska and 5Z is a slam dunk in our eyes. AUGUST 14 ACTUAL WEANING
WEIGHT – 895LBS, DILUTOR FREE.
VIRGINIA
22M is an eye appealing bull with a powerful cow behind him. Purchased from the good folks at Beechinor Land and Livestock, she was our pick of the barn the day she sold. 22M was born a twin to another bull calf that we unfortunately lost; it would have been something for them both to make the sale! 22M was raised on his mother and what a job she did; even having twins she bred back early and is due any day now as I type these comments. We think very highly of his dam and I wouldn’t be surprised to see her in the donor program in the near future. AUGUST 14 ACTUAL WEANING WEIGHT – 805LBS, DILUTOR FREE.
VIRGINIA RIP ROARING 734J CLEARWATER VALINA 25G
Marcus is a Rip son with a little extra frame. Like all the Rips, he has a great coat of hair and pigmentation. He was on the show road this fall and will catch your attention if you are looking to add some pounds to your calf crop. 30M comes with a bit of an outcross these days; on the bottom side his granddam being a daughter of MFL Egmar. Marcus is another bull with some great maternal bench strength bred into him. AUGUST 14 ACTUAL WEANING WEIGHT – 910LBS, DILUTOR FREE.
Kayce is our last Rip son on offer this year and he brings an interesting genetic twist. I often feel like a broken record when I am typing comments, but without some maternal strength and good cows in our program we wouldn’t have a bull sale. Anytime I see Solway Adonis in a pedigree I always stop for a second look. Add the maternal strength of Solway Adonis, mix in Rip and add the polled gene to the package, the opportunities are endless. AUGUST 14 ACTUAL WEANING WEIGHT – 840LBS
MIKEY
83L is our first Mikey son to sell and what a dandy to start with. He comes with a polled head and his dam goes back to our donor cow, Bee Vixen. Pigmentation and haircoat catch your attention right away with these Mikey sons. We feel 83L is a good one for the heifer pen and should calve easy and keep some horns off the calves. AUGUST 14
29M is an eye catcher, he just has that herd bull look about him and his dam has done an excellent job. His maternal granddam is the dam of our 6M bull. 29M is another one that could be utilized in the heifer pen we believe. AUGUST 14 ACTUAL WEANING WEIGHT – 805LBS, DILUTOR FREE.
81L might be the favorite of the Mikey calves. He was on display this summer with his dam during the World Congress. If you like them dark red you won’t find them much darker than this. Good calving ease numbers and very good pedigree behind him, his dam traces back to our 2B cow that was the first cow we put our tattoo in, and she is still walking the pastures at Clearwater! AUGUST 14
785LBS, DILUTOR FREE.
88L is our last Mikey son on offer. He is the first calf from a daughter of our ET program. His granddam Twinkle Star is the first cow we bought many years ago. We really like the maternal strength Solway Adonis adds and we use him quite extensively in our program. 88L is another one we feel you can toss in with the heifers and have a trouble-free calving season. AUGUST 14 ACTUAL WEANING WEIGHT – 795LBS, DILUTOR FREE.
Tate is a big-time sale feature. Every year we select a few top end heifers and A.I. them. We really like the job Radison can do and 82L is no exception. Look at his calving ease numbers and his shape of body, then check out his growth. This bull is the complete package. Radison, Viper and WJS Erica; truly some proven genetics in this guy’s pedigree. AUGUST 14
– 805LBS, DILUTOR FREE. VIRGINIA RADISON 5Z
Gator is another Radison son with a strong pedigree behind him. Unfortunately, he had a little set back so his yearling weight is not what one would expect. We know our pedigrees and can guarantee whoever takes a chance on Gator and takes him home will be blown away by the bull that matures before their eyes. He is the first calf of another daughter of our ET program. We decided to try and cross 5Z and Arnie 8M, what a dam this guy has! AUGUST 14 ACTUAL
WOLFE’S FLECKVIEH
Welcome to the 5th Annual The Event Bull Sale, now being held by video sale at Southpaw Cattle Company’s awesome facility. We would like to thank all previous bidders and buyers for their support in our program. Our program is built on a 100% Fleckvieh horned genetic base. Our mother cows raise these bulls on milk alone. We feel that by not creep feeding, we are able to build a genetic base that can function well in the commercial industry with less inputs and more profit in your pocket. We welcome anyone to view the bulls prior to the sale. Coffee pot is always on. Big Thanks to the entire Southpaw Cattle Company Crew for all of their hard work of setting up the outside pens in addition to creating a warm atmosphere inside where we will enjoy the video sale in comfort with good food and refreshments. See you on February 18th!

KRUGER FARMS
Welcome back to The Event Bull & Female Sale. This is an exciting year for us and our group of consignors as we have moved our sale to Southpaw Cattle Company near Carstairs. We would like to extend a huge thank you to Ron, Tammi and the girls for their gracious hospitality and all of the work they have put in to get ready for the sale.
We have a nice diverse set of bulls this year, and we feel that we have something for everyone whether you are searching for calving ease or explosive performance. Quite a few of our lots are sired by our herd bull ULTRA/HVAL Freedom 125J. This bull has done a lot for our program and we are extremely confident in his progeny. We also need to highlight that we have 3 embryo brothers from our donor cow RJY Signature Red 7C- she is a special cow to us and we are lucky to have crossed paths with her in our career. As always, our bulls are raised on free choice hay and they are hand fed 16% co-op bull ration. Everyone is halter broke, quiet and ready to go to work.
We would like to thank all of our previous buyers and everyone who has shown interest in our bulls. We invite you to stop by the farm any time and tour the animals, our door is always open. We hope to see you sale day!

14M is a powerful black herd sire in the making out of the one and only Captain Morgan 11Z. Known for putting his stamp on his calves we feel that 14M is picture perfect. He is long, super wide topped and will add performance to his calves for years to come. His dam is a nice big framed ET cow that we raised here, and she always does a great job with her calves. 14M stands out when going through the pens and has everyone buzzing. He was on display at Medicine Hat Beef Pen Show. HOMO POLLED, HETERO BLACK.
707M is one of three brothers being offered from our top donor RJY 7C. Backed by this tremendous cow, he’s sure to add that maternal strength to your cow herd. 707M checks all the boxes; his performance on an individual basis is outstanding for a late February born bull, he is just off the heavy weight of the offering at the yearling weigh day. He’s the total package when it comes to performance and maternal strength, not to mention that great hair coat and in your pocket type. His maternal half-sister sold for $25,000 to Ranch Covey Hill Inc at the World Simmental Sale in the summer, and we are grateful to have siblings to her in the bull pen on offer this year. 707M was one of three bulls that we brought to the Medicine Hat Beef Pen Show. HOMO POLLED
701 & 709 are the other two brothers from the great RJY 7C/Ultra HVAL Freedom 125J flush. These two bulls show lots of length and shape, as they move with ease through the pen. Uniformity comes to mind when thinking of these bulls, and that is something that they picked up from their sire. When looking for bulls to increase the quality of your replacement pen look no further! Their maternal half-sister sold for $25,000 to Ranch Covey Hill Inc. at the World Simmental Sale in the summer. HOMO POLLED
11M comes to us from a very nice third calver that hasn’t missed yet. Her foot and udder quality is hard to match and with our walking herd sire Freedom 125J on the top side, it gives him that explosive performance we strive for. We think 11M will go on to give you supreme quality heifer calves for your replacement pen. This bull is that quiet in your pocket type that wants to be your friend. We have retained a full sister that would leave you drooling. 11M was on display at Medicine Hat Beef Pen Show. HOMO POLLED
It was a fundraiser auction when we finally got our hands on Tycoon semen, and boy was I excited to AI 96B; she’s a gorgeous cow that puts everything into her calves. 3M brings that easy muscling character to the group, he absolutely bulges at the seams. He was the heavy weight on grass weighing in at 905lbs off the cow. Combining his muscle, massive topline and good haircoat, this bull is in it for the long haul. HOMO POLLED
The Rancher Bull! Comes from our very best fourth calver. Miss Epic has foot and udder quality that is hard to beat. This bull is tall, long, and has that style that we get excited for. He moves so free for a bull that performs so well. He will no doubt be able to put the miles on and still do his job. He’s got a good rib and square hip. Rancher daughters are at the top of our replacement group. HOMO POLLED
60L comes from our fall program, out of a proven heifer we purchased from Harvie Crest. 60L has a big square hip with a big middle and smooth shoulders. He is the perfect addition to your fleet to breed a few extra cows. While his build speaks for itself, we must also mention his sire Copperhead. We have used the Copperhead bull a few times, and we are always impressed by his calving ease and the soundness of his calves, they are just built to last right from the get-go, and you are also bound to get some nice blazes if bred right.
506L is a stud of a bull, but it is also worth mentioning that he is a big teddy bear. The only thing that wakes him up is cows. He has everything you could want in a bull; great muscling, lots of performance and rock-solid genetics. Bankroll on the top side throws some nice calving ease. He’s admired by many that go through the pen. 506L will throw white faces and could throw some extra white. HOMO POLLED, HETERO BLACK
16M is a nice red bull that really showed up to perform. He is first to the feed bunk every day and it shows. He’s got very nice rib shape and a nice topline, which just enhance his strong confirmation. 16M comes from a highly respected cow family at Kruger farms with every daughter being retained, and producing very well for us.
POLLED
13M is another power bull with lots of extras stacked on his side. 13M comes from a nice cow family that has worked out any way we have bred them. The 1G cow is home raised and sports good feet, a good utter and she is just getting better with age. 13M is a round hip, tankey middled bull that we like a lot. He’s got more then enough hair and that blood red color is in his favor. Make sure to circle him in your catalogue. HETERO POLLED
KRU MS KURUBA 405J SIRE DAM
ULTRA/HVAL FREEDOM 125J
890F
Confidence comes to mind when thinking of this bull. He walks with confidence through the pen. Freedom 125J calves all move very well and gain very well and he is no exception. He’s a grandson to an old donor out of the Skor program and we have sold quite a few brothers that look just like him. The Skors Kuruba progeny are built to last, just like she was. HOMO POLLED
ULTRA/HVAL FREEDOM 125J
MS CROCKET 25J
25M is a no miss solid red bull out of a nice second calver. The 25J cow is a natural daughter out of our Skor flush cow that we are still marketing calves out of this year. He is a maternal half sibling to the 506L bull also on offer. He had great numbers coming off grass weaning off at 875. 25M was one of the heavier bulls even though he was born early February. He’s dark red with lots of hair, and he would be a solid addition to any herd. HOMO POLLED
DAM
ULTRA/HVAL FREEDOM 125J SKORS MATTIE SUE 304E
20M Is a fancy red baldie bull out of Freedom 125J. He fits in very well with the other Freedom sired calves, which again just proves the uniformity that the Freedom 125J bull puts into his calves. He has a nice frame and beautiful blaze that catches your eye. The dam is a cow we bought out of the Skor dispersal sale in 2019, she is a productive cow that adds a nice hair coat to her calves and raises them well. HOMO POLLED
28M is a nice dark red blaze faced calving ease bull. He comes out of our new herd bull from Mavv Farms whom we purchased in 2022. 28M has that blaze face and dark red coat and will spread that into your calf crop. This bull is light on his feet and can no doubt cover some ground to do his job. The dam is a bigger framed first calver that shows a lot pf potential and will likely be a permanent staple in our herd. HOMO POLLED
29M is a good late February bull out of the bull we purchased from Mavv Farms at the end of 2022. 29M comes out of a very feminine first calver that has a perfect udder and more of a moderate frame. 29M boasts a big top and nice hind quarter, 29M is sure to add some performance to you herd. HOMO
GB FARMS
We are excited to be a part of The Event Bull & Female Sale for the 5th year. We would like to thank last year’s buyers and bidders and everybody who came out to the sale. We feel like our bulls keep getting stronger and stronger. This set of 2025 bulls on offer are very docile and quiet, thanks to our kids hanging around them. Our cow herd is focused on good feet and strong udders, and we strive to raise cattle that can get out and move. Feel free to come out to the farm and walk through the bull pen and view our cow herd. We look forward to seeing everybody at The Event.
GBF 34M has had that eye appeal look to him his whole life. He has been a stand out on grass and is still carrying that with him today. He is dark red and has lots of muscle expression. GBF MR 34M is out of our KAD Glory 31X cow family. We bought his great great granddam out of D Bar C dispersal and had great success showing KAD Glory 31X. She was a cow that could be out on pasture one day and into the show ring the next. That eye appeal in her is still present in 34M and we are sure thankful for that. 34M’s dam GBF 33F is a moderate frame cow with an awesome udder and is easy doing.
GBF MR 55M is a very complete bull that gets more impressive every time we walk in the bull pen. He has really grown on us since weaning time and has easily rose to one of the top bulls we have on offer. He is a loose hided, easy doing, big hipped bull. He has that herd bull look to him and really catches your eye. 55M is backed by a strong third calver that really pulled her weight in raising him. With Ty-D’s Renegade 112J, who is very consistent with his offspring, on his sire side this gives him a bright future ahead of him. Very docile bull.
TY-D’S RENEGADE 112J
SIRE
Heifer bull time. GBF MR 3M is out of a first calver and we are impressed with 3M and his growth. We are always excited with RF Ratified 091H calves as they come easy and have good vigour. RF 091H is our go to heifer bull. A moderate birth weight of 81 lbs and great hair really add to this calving ease bull. This bull’s granddam GBF 25H has all three of her daughters in the breeding herd.
If making females is your business then look at GBF MR 80M. He has an impressive full sister and ½ sister in our breeding herd. 80M has the style to make feminine heifers but still has the length and muscle to add big framed steers to any herd. He has a smooth lines, and just overall eye appeal. 80M is sired by Ty-D’s Renegade 112J who we purchased as the high selling bull in TyD Livestock bull sale in 2022. HOMO POLLED.
GBF MR 19M is rugged made with natural muscle, good frame size and length of body. He models very closely to his dam who is big bodied and lots of length. 19M will have longevity built in him, coming from his dam who just turned 13 and she still has excellent feet and udder today. Look at 19M to sire big weight calves. This bull has strong genetics on the sire side with Deeg MR 101H who goes back to the infamous RF Capacity 742E (an extremely popular AI Sire) who was the $77,500 high seller in the 2018 Herd Master Bull Sale.
GBF MR 11M is our only NUG Eclipse 302K calf on offer. NUG 302K sold for $140,000 at Maxwell’s bull sale and we were lucky to purchase a semen package on him and he sure impressed us on this bull. His dam has a great udder, beautiful clean front end and deep bodied. The consistency on the dam side is proven as the granddam GBF 45Z is the mother of GBF 63M in the sale. Soft made, good haired, but still has the herd bull look to him. This smooth topped bull moves easy on his feet, and has good testicular development. HOMO POLLED.
GBF MR 63M is as smooth as they come without compromising muscle and power. He is out of Deeg MR 101H who is our stand out black herd sire in are black division. 63M is attractive from all sides and excellent hair. He is deep bodied with tons of middle. He comes from a strong dam that is holding her own at her age, and still producing outstanding progeny. GBF 45Z is also the granddam of GBF 11M in the bull sale.
GBF MR 31M is one of four bulls sire by Ty-D’s Renegade 112J on offer this year. We really like how easy doing these Ty-D offspring are. There’s an eye appeal Ty-D puts into his calves, that makes him a go to sire every time. 31M is big hipped with good bone structure and muscle, but also carries himself well. Udder quality is what best describes GBF Wicked Dream 62E who is a daughter of the sought after NCB Cobra 47Y. He is going to add weight to his future offspring and that ever popular white face.

SOUTHPAW CATTLE COMPANY
The entire crew here at Southpaw welcomes you back to the 5th year of The Event Bull and Female Sale, we are excited to host everyone here at the farm for the sale! This year we brought out the biggest show string we’ve had since the girls were in 4-H and boy did we have fun. For the first time in a decade, we had all three girls in the show barn. As times have changed, it’s funny to see how many things remain the same. This year we received two very special awards; Champion Breeders Herd and Premier Exhibitor banners at Farmfair International, amongst a very strong group of cattle in the largest breed show in the barns! To achieve that while showcasing a string that represents the entire scope of our program across both sexes was truly amazing. We have been very intentional with our breeding strategies to build better bulls and we believe we have done that with this offering. Whether you are looking for calving ease, maternal strength, added bone and growth, we have purebred and percentage bulls that would fit your program needs. Last fall we were delighted to hear from good friends and bull buyers that their PAW sired calves are weaning off 30% heavier than their previous calf crops have ever done since purchasing Southpaw bulls! “Good honest cattle” is what we strive for, and that’s what we have brought you. Built for the long run, starting today.
PAW Manipulator 435M has been popular with everyone touring the bullpen due to his dark red color, square hip and big foot under him. He just keeps getting better and better with age. His dam, who goes back to Ultra Powerline, is the type of cow we would love to copy and paste twenty times over, has proven herself with her daughters demonstrating her maternal power year after year. 435M’s sire is one of the top bulls to come out of the Southpaw program. PAW Juan Pablo 121J was sold out of our sale in 2022 to Wheatland Cattle Co. Juan Pablo has gone on to be incredibly successful for Wheatland with sons topping their bull sale and verifying that his phenotype works across the board. 435M is your ticket to add growth, flexibility and maternal traits in a beautiful dark red package. PUREBRED, RED, HOMO POLLED.

PAW Magnitude 421M is a super masculine bull with length of spine, hip and remarkable maturity. This sweet guy’s dam goes back to our Coliseum bull and PAW BLK Gwinnette 916G who is a direct daughter of a cow that had a special place at Southpaw. PAW Whimsical 924W was incredibly successful in the ring at numerous 4-H and junior shows from a calf to mature cow. Her career highlight being crowned the National Simmental Champion at Farmfair in 2011. We have retained every daughter and when they continue to throw out dynamic bulls like this guy we know we made the right choice! 421M’s proven maternal pedigree was the perfect match for his sire PAW Juan Pablo 121J. PUREBRED, HOMO BLACK, HOMO POLLED.
PAW 457M is an ET calf from a super unique mating with a double outcross pedigree that we had to take advantage of! His sire KCC1 Countertime 872H is as suave as they make them, while maintaining exceptional mass and hip dimension. The first set of Hoya Haleigh 15G daughters excelled in both show and sale rings, demonstrating the real world cow power that this elite dam produces. 457M is strong topped and super hairy, with both sides of his pedigree boasting near perfect udder design. Combining the intriguing qualities of his dam and sire including a moderate frame, this guy is the type of bull that would work well to add mass to your cows. PUREBRED. PAW JUAN PABLO 121J
PAW Momentum 428M earned a lot of attention this fall at Farmfair and Agribition. Strong topped, easy doing, deeply muscled, big footed and smooth striding. Starting off with an 83 pound birth weight, he weaned off at the top of the group, demonstrating his masculine maturity that is sure to add style and growth in his calves. His dam Paw 039H is a beautiful, heavy milking cow with tons of body. She is a maternal half-sib to our fall feature heifer calf PAW Madaline 434M, a beautiful red baldy that sold in FNL for $27,000 to Pieschel Farms, Scott Land & Cattle and Czech-Mate Livestock. 428M’s sire Black Gold Coliseum 140H has been one of our favorite herd bulls in the pasture and in the show ring. Placing in the top 5 supreme at Lloydminster Stockade and Alberta Supreme at Farmfair, and top 10 in the Agribition Beef Supreme as a yearling and as a 2 year old, Coliseum also had the honor of winning the 2022 Champion Show Bull of The Year. We strongly believe Momentum has big plans! PUREBRED, HOMO BLACK, HOMO POLLED.

PAW Money Maker 418M’s sire Black Gold Coliseum has once again stamped his sons with impressive body shape, tremendous balance and structural correctness that sets them up for the long run. This guy is no exception with his early growth and performance. Money Maker comes by his name honestly with great potential to accelerate your calf crop with improved weaning weights! We have been very happy with the performance and soundness from all of our Coliseum calves. Homopolled and heteroblack, 418M can throw some red calves your way if you are looking to deepen your red calves (according to Harlow the red babies are her favourite). ¾ SIMMANGUS, RED CARRIER, HOMO POLLED.
PAW Moonshine 424M is a bull that can’t help but catch your eye out in the pen with his attractive markings, softness and athletic stride. Another one of our Remedy x 45D flush mates, you can see why we love this pairing. This bull is as smooth as they come, without giving up dimension. Remedy continues to stamp his calves with style and a presence that demands your attention. ¾ SIMMANGUS, HOMO BLACK, HOMO POLLED.
PATERNAL BROTHER
PAW Michelob 416M was a unanimous favourite from day one, and when Shallaine and Sawyer can agree on a favourite, that speaks volumes! With his explosive hip, big bone, and fluid movement he will also add style into your herd. We were shocked by the passing of his dam, a donor cow that showed tremendous promise with her entire first flush calf crop making it to the halter breaking group. She was deep flanked with tons of body, a great udder and fantastic temperament. We are very happy with all the ET calves maintaining her beautiful structure. We are keeping her daughter from that flush because she is just like her mama. 416M’s sire SO Remedy 7F is a terrific outscross bull we purchased Canadian semen rights on from Hartman Cattle Company from Tecumseh, NE with a fresh style and lineage. As you can see from 416M we got that and so much more. Cool and smooth like his namesake, 416M has the presence and performance to be your next feature herdsire! ¾ SIMMANGUS, HOMO BLACK, HOMO POLLED.

PAW Max 411M is a soggy made bull with tons of hair and fleshing ease. This guy was the natural calf on our feature donor cow Daines Resolution 45D. His flushmates have shown that this mating combo is successful in delivering deep ribbed, strong topped, stylish bulls and heifers alike. We are retaining his sister and cannot wait to see her in production. ¾ SIMMANGUS, HOMO BLACK, SCURRED.
PAW Maverick 420M is an ET bull that is undoubtedly stout and hairy. He is jam packed from every angle, with soundness and smoothness that is dependable across all his flushmates. This is the type that will work well on all your cows, with the added bonus of some sweet markings in your calves with the mystery of added color, branding them without the iron! ¾ SIMMANGUS, HOMO BLACK, SCURRED.
PAW Maucho Man 404M is a smooth fronted bull with added bone and a great foot under him. His dam has fantastic maternal instinct and consistently delivers balanced, growthy calves. His paternal grandsire, MRL MR 2D is a calving ease specialist on mature cows and heifers alike. 404M’s sire Remedy is also calving ease phenom in our calving pen. PAW Mayhem 408M is an easy going bull that maintains depth, hip shape and fleshing ability in a moderate frame. He is another son of SO Remedy 7F that hit the ground running and continues to impress. We are absolutely in love with our Remedy females. His dam PAW 222K is one that we admire for her balance, deep middle and feminine front end. She is a daughter of PAW BLK Gratitude 901G, a direct Cobra son and a full brother to PAW Juan Pablo 121J. ¾ SIMMANGUS, HOMO BLACK, HOMO POLLED.
PAW Mechanic 410M is long made, big boned and smooth fronted. Here is a bull that is out of a good honest cow that is clean made and sound footed with a beautifully balanced udder. His dam is a daughter of PAW BLK Gratitude 901G, a herdsire that continues to produce females that raise bulls with ease. His sire Remedy also contributes to his smooth made structure. With a birth weight of only 79 lbs he will be a good one to put on smaller cows. ¾ SIMMANGUS, HOMO POLLED, HOMO BLACK.
PAW Money Banks 448M is a bull backed with maternal strength. His dam is one of the easiest doing mamas we have that keeps raising bulls and females that we are proud to sell in our sale. This maternal side is one of our strongest lines of females we have. From the matriarch LFE Sheila 43C (purchased from Lewis Farms), to his granddam PAW BLK Ezmerelda 01E (LFE Style daughter) now in our donor pen, to his dam PAW BLK Geneva 907G out of MRL MR 2D. Along with his sire, this bull has the power and structure to complete anyone’s herd. PUREBRED, RED CARRIER, HOMO POLLED.

PAW Mission Control 446M is a lot of bull in a moderate package, bold in his rib shape, and tracks out with ease. His dam PAW Just Friends 120J was Reserve Champion Percentage Female at Farmfair International in 2021 as a calf. An ET daughter from RF/RUST Stimulus 610D and GDaines Profit 51F that we call Buffy, we love her balance and style. 446M’s sire Mader Sedona 97K (R Plus Yuma 9087G) stamps his calves with performance and bone. The type that is just built right, Mission Control is commanding attention! PUREBRED, RED CARRIER, HOMO POLLED.

PAW Metteo 453M is a growthy smooth made bull. He is out of one of Shallaine’s favorite cows, an ET daughter from the Belvin Georgina lineage and Belvin Panic Switch from Belvin Angus. She is big bodied, good footed and has a beautiful udder. She is one of our oldest cows and still going strong currently in the donor pen. Her bull making ability has been proven over the years, giving us bulls for our sale every year with the exception of the only female that Shallaine would not let leave the farm. We purchased 453M’s sire R Plus 1021J from the monumental program that R+ Simmental for his look, dimension and calving ease. He delivered on every aspect so the decision to keep every heifer calf in our replacement pen was an easy one! He works on well heifers and adds performance when mated with cows. ½

PAW Madonna 460M is one we are incredibly proud of! She has been an easy favourite from birth with her impressive spring of rib, she is deep bodied, sure footed and fancy fronted. Her dam WHL Brooke 1629D is one of our favourite donor cows that we partnered on with Chase and Alana Miller. One of the deepest bodied cows we have, she continues to produce females that impress us including her last two daughters that sold in FNL. The power and style that this mama cow keeps on producing with a great udder and the ability to milk and support calves like this heifer are the ones that we strive for in our herd. 460M’s sire SVS Dynasty 915G has given us some outstanding females that have the perfect balance of power with fleshing ease. We have a first calver Dynasty daughter this year with a fantastic udder. 19M comes straight out of the top 5 of our replacement group and she is one that I really don’t want to part with. Our 172B donor cow has worked so well for us in previous years and is now aging. With limited heifers in our herd she probably should have been kept. Our loss is your gain. 19M is an eye catching flashy dark red blazed face heifer. She’s going to milk very well and has a beautiful udder waiting in the wings. 19M will be that perfect addition to your herd to produce both bulls and heifers. HOMO POLLED PENDING

Brad and Shane Lutz operate WBS Lutz Farms east of Olds. Their operation consists of calving out around 300 commercial cows along with approximately 3000 acres of crop land. Brad and Shane have worked hard to build their herd by building on their own cow families and take bull selection very seriously to help advance their program. These 6 heifers have been selected out of their replacement pen born the end of March. These heifers have been vaccinated with Ultrabac 7/Somubac and Bovishield Gold as well as Ivomec pour on. These Red and Black Sim/Angus heifers have been palpated and are ready to go. The Event Bull and Female Sale group are very excited to have Brad and Shane as commercial heifer consignors in our sale and we thank them for purchasing bulls from our sale of the past 4 years.
