Welcome
Welcome to our 14th Annual Bull & Female Sale. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the support over the last year whether you were a bidder or buyer we appreciate your interest and your investment in our program. It is with great anticipation for us each year to see our bulls and females go into your herd and go to work for you and get a return on investment as quickly as you can. Breed improvement and selection is ongoing and working together and seeing your success is rewarding to us. We thrive on improving and selecting genetics for the next year and the year beyond that as it never ends. The cattle industry is as vibrant and exciting as it has ever been and to be involved and to be successful in such a demanding business makes the long hours and hardships very rewarding. As we prepare for the Bull Sale and calving is well on its way, we can honestly say the value we put into those breeding decisions year after year really do compound into a uniform and consistent bull pen. 2025 sale bulls are just that- an even, balanced group of bulls with great dispositions. We have a solid selection of Red & Black Simmental performance and calving ease bulls for your appraisal. We value the production capabilities of our cow herd and those weaning weights are right off the cow with no other inputs besides milk and grass. We have developed our bulls on free choice hay, greenfeed and we pail feed the 14% Bullseye pellet at 8-10 lbs/day. We expect these bulls to excel as they develop & mature and settle into their new homes with little adjustment.
We welcome once again Daniel Ziehr of Circle Z Simmentals with a super set of bulls out of a cross section of sires. He has invested in some of our genetics over the years and these females have had a ROI for him no doubt. It is with heavy hearts that we have a donation heifer to auction off for the tragic passing of Kyle Hoefels. Kyle purchased bulls from us and we would like to help his family out with this heifer. All proceeds from this Red Purebred Simmental Heifer will go to Kristina and family and we hope in a small way this will ease the pain and grief and will help in any way to move forward. Look to Lot 35 for the opportunity to purchase this heifer and support the Hoefels family.
The sale is a Live/On Farm Video sale hosted by DLMS. The bulls and heifer will be on display for your appraisal and the sale will be held in our heated barn. We welcome you to view the offering prior to the sale and if you are unable to attend sale day, please feel free to contact anyone of us or our sale staff for assistance. Videos of the sale cattle can be viewed through cattlevids closer to sale date.
The coffee is always on!

TSF MILO 4M
On December 1, 2024, Kyle tragically passed away in a farming accident near Rich Valley, AB at the age of 33 years old leaving behind his loving wife, Kristina and their three young children - Tanner, Harper and Sawyer. Kyle was loved very much by his family, friends and all who knew him and he will be forever present in their hearts. Kyle’s memory will live on in the stories, laughter and love he brought into this world. He was truly one of a kind, always one to lend a hand to anyone who needed it and always going above and beyond for everyone in the community. His good nature made him easy to talk to about everything from farming to the Oilers, and he had an incredible knack to build or fix absolutely anything. His family farm was not just an achievement, but his passion in life, and brought him so much joy. He was a heck of a ball player, the center of connection amongst his friend group and a remarkable husband and father to his family.
