Dining at Wilmot Mtn:

Walt’s seasonal menu features something for everyone, showcasing an updated Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl, the Wilmot Burger, and “New” Homemade Meatloaf dinner. The menu also includes signature soups and salads, flavorful shared appetizers and a variety of specialty handcrafted sandwiches. Weekday happy hour food and drink specials are featured in the evening including quintessential Wisconsin Friday Fish fry. Enjoy specialty cocktails, a robust wine list and craft beer while taking advantage of their huge soft seating area.

Snow Tubing:

Enjoy up to 22 carved lanes of Snow Tubing at Wilmot Mountain! Fun and with a conveyor lift to take you back up the hill, it’s super easy! Perfect for group outings of all ages!

Ski & Snowboard School

Wilmot Mountain offers group, private and multi-week lessons for both adults and children. New this season is Bunny Hill Basics, a program for beginners ages 7 and up offered Wednesday evenings starting January 9th throughout the 2018/2019 season for $49. boiMAG

Join us for OUT at Wilmot Mountain! The first LGBT day-event on the mountain coordinated and Sponsored by boiMAG, Viking Ski Shop concluding with an after party at Kenosha’s Club Icon with free entrance to all that participate in the event. So grab the crew, put on your best winter style, and head on up for a day OUT at Wilmot Mountain on Friday, January 11th from 5pm-10pm. Since 1938, Wilmot Mountain has been one of the Midwest’s premier Winter destinations for snowsport activities. Just a short drive away from Chicago and Milwaukee, they have made skiing, snowboarding, and tubing an easy, accessible, affordable and fun trip for everyone of all ages. With nearly 120 skiable acres, 23 trails, 7 lifts, 2 surface conveyor lifts and progression terrain parks with a double high speed rope tow, there is enough terrain to challenge experts to beginners, day or night. For those who are not up to skiing or snowboarding, there’s always a fun day waiting just down the road at the tubing area with 22 lanes and 2 surface conveyor lifts to take you back to the top.

Having converted thousands of first-timers into lifelong skiers and riders, and now with the opportunity to take that passion to Vail Resorts’ iconic western mountains, Wilmot Mountain is truly the place where Epic begins.


Q&A When does the season open? We never have an opening day. This time of year we watch the weather closely. It has to be 28 degrees or colder consistently in order to make our own snow. Keep an eye on our website at https://www.wilmotmountain.com and social media for up-to-the-minute dates. Do you allow snowboarding? YES! We also have snow tubing! What is there to do if I don’t ski and I’m going with my partner or friends who likes to ski? We have a full service sit-down restaurant called Walt’s Tavern with an awesome menu, robust wine list, specialty cocktails, craft beer list and on Friday, quintessential Wisconsin Fish Fry. Fantastic views of the mountain and super cool vibe! Is there a lodge room or restaurant? Tom Whitman Presents is a premiere LGBT promotion company, they have produced more than 2000 events over the last 15 years, including Wonderland, the largest LA Gay Pride event held on the backlot of Paramount Studios, the infamous celebrity hot spot Cherry Pop, the long-running SIZE Sundays, and the ELEVATION gay ski weeks in Mammoth Lakes, CA, Park City, UT and Tremblant, Quebec. We at boiMAGazine salute Tom for his community work, he is on the Board of Directors of GLAAD, APLA Health and has produced events for many LGBT charities, including HRC, The Trevor Project, GLAAD, Aids Project Los Angeles, The LA Gay & Lesbian Center and more. Jan 31st – Feb 3rd, 2019 ELEVATION Tremblant The latest addition will feature apres-ski and night-time events over 4 days, with gogo dancers and DJs from LA, London and Montreal, and themed events, including the Onesie Apres-Ski, the Neon Party and the naughty GEAR party. And of course, hundreds of sexy snowboarders and skiers from NYC, Montreal, Toronto and beyond. Some of the biggest LGBT travel influencers will be joining us in Tremblant including Max Emerson, Andres Camilo, Eastsiders’ Kit Williamson and John Halbach. Tremblant is a top four-season resort destination owing to its guest experience both on-mountain, and in its pedestrian village. Its views of the Laurentians, the diversity of its offer and highly acclaimed major events – of which IRONMAN MontTremblant, 24h of Tremblant, Wanderlust and the Tremblant International Blues Festival, put it in eighth position among North American ski areas by Condé Nast Traveler readers in 2016, among the top 25 best ski villages in the world in 2014 according to National Geographic, in addition to being voted #1 Ski Village in Eastern North America for a 19th year by SKI Magazine readers. Feb. 21st – Feb 24th, 2019 ELEVATION Utah returns to Park City for the 9th annual “gay invasion of Utah,” with DJs, go-go dancers and themed events including the Onesie Party, the Neon Party, the naughty GEAR Saturday night and the signature Elevation apres-ski events. ELEVATION Utah draws attendees from all over the country for the best snow in the world, to an area packed with world-famous ski mountains, including Park City Mountain – now the largest ski resort in the US. and gay events on Main Street in one of the most iconic ski towns in the world. “I have had some of the best ski days of my life in Park City. Utah really has snow like no other. And there is something very special about a week of big gay events right on the Main Street of one of the most iconic ski towns in the world,” says Tom Whitman. “And I would put the crowd at our Saturday night as one of the sexiest and friendliest of any gay party in any city.” March 13th – March 17th ELEVATION Mammoth will feature a collection of thirteen events over five days. The ski by day/play by night weekend starts from the moment guests arrive at the resort with daily events including après-ski and evening parties. Highlights include the signature apres-ski parties, including the themed Onesie Apres-Ski, the naughty nighttime GEAR party, Comedy Night, and a VIP wine tasting. The parties at ELEVATION Mammoth will showcase headlining DJ’s including the Perry Twins, Josh Peace, Dawna Montell, Aaron Elvis and Adam Turner, who are joined by energetic go-go boys and dynamic drag queen hostess’.
