Finding The Fountain of Youth
Ponce de León and Florida’s Magical Waters by Rick Kilby Visitor Center
COME SEE WHAT’S
GROWING!
Together, we are writing the next chapter of Bok Tower Gardens. Projects are underway to preserve and enrich your experience in new and engaging ways, to restore and revitalize the Gardens for future generations. Landscapes are being transformed, but Edward Bok’s vision is cared for and protected. We invite you and your family to explore, to learn, to participate in the process. Discover a wide range of unique activities and events designed to engage the young and young at heart.
This exhibit examines how the legend of Ponce de León’s quest for restorative waters shaped the Sunshine State’s image as a land of fantasy, rejuvenation, and magical waters. Rich in images, learn how the myths of “La Florida” influenced perceptions of the state that still echo today.
2nd Friday each month 10 a.m.
Gardens staff will provide an overview of our new construction and building projects. During these one-hour programs, get a behind-the-scenes look at the children’s garden, Florida wild garden, outdoor kitchen and more. Sunscreen, bug spray and closed-toed shoes recommended. Tours meet at the Visitor Center. Included with admission.
