I don't know what I am going design ! And I probebly won't know soon, But I definitly know what I dont want to do...
sustainable & green building ‌ Another ! product ... I don't want to do...
May be not even ‌
How I am going to approch this design experience?
We humans are tiny little dots on the planet earth,
the planet earth is a tiny little dot in the milky-way galaxy,
the milky-way is just another galaxy among millions of others galaxies. ‌. Galaxies that might not even be a dot on the planet earth night sky. ((( ‌ smaller that the hurts of people and creaters that are seeing them.
.. )))) …..... …........................... …................. …..........................................
….................... …........................................ …......... endless universe, fathomless world within
We humans have the Illusion of seeing our slef as the center of universe we are not so much to blame, since we primaraly abserve every thing throw our selfs. When I look back I see that I have this Illusion, I never imagine a world within birds, dears, ducks, trees, rocks, water, fire, soil and … the way I imagine within my self.
I intend to start approaching the experience by challanging human centerality and seeing the reality of humans as a part of the earth ecosystem. I will learn from the native american blifes and culture, my cultural backgroud and what I learned from the culture of places I have lived in and stories I have heard from other cultures and believes.
If anything is or was a strong belief in any culture, religion or people; If not the abslute truth it is a perception that humans have from the abslute truth (which I believe to be beyond understanding). “ a good metaphor is Molana's story of the Elephant in the dark barn” Human beliefs throw history are at least a flash back, a dream or a feelig that all humans can have or experience under some / similar conditions. As an example Native Americans and some other cultures belived that the spirit of their biloved ones who have passed out still lives in spaces and buildings. The reality is that many humans feel or dream the same although they keep reminding them selfs that it is not true. True or not True, “scientificly proven or not proven”, it is a part of architecture since people have felt it long throw history and they have found peace in this feeling.*
Antiquity findings are an Experimental knowledge, that been tested in real situations in as many trials as its history. They are not temporary exitments that glow so bright that setare ha ro miposhonand and vanish queckly.
(appologies for any unknown miss-understanding of culturs or religions from my side) Another human ellosion is that it see's it's achievments as first time inventions . . . which also has a root in seeing it self as center. (knowing that the history has been written by concorrars and many libraries have birnt down also backs-up the argument) all of the concepts that were in the readings, they all had a much pure and truthful example in the past art and/ or architecture. Avoiding decoration and simplicity to gain focus. Purely use light and even avoid having trees. This is a small part of Roden Crater Project. …. (I have a lot to talk about this setting the example of earlly mousques)
Definitely the little prince is a beautiful book and gives insight and inspiration.
I am not fund of any cultures the reason I set my examples from my own culture is firstly because I know about it. Secondly that I believe all cultures are valuable and are Human Legacy. But some cultures have been opperesed and not given the desirved attention. There is a lot of knowledge that can help humanity live a better life that has been lost in history and it is steel continuing to vanish. I have many many examples in my limited memory and understanding, a basic one is the persepsion of the earth being flat for centuries. While the earths diamiter had been calculate by Egyptions many centuries before that. If hunmans are pixcels on a painting, I have discovered my color to be the color of an embaseder between two cultures and my “vanishing point” to be the happiness of humanidy.
Part 2 … space
((it has just started))
not form
signs to recognize a space: the pictures are never as good as the real thing and vise versa indicates a form without space. It feels as if the cavity between the boundries of the “place” is alive and embracing us the proportion and materials matter ofcourse the physical confort Factors or criterials:
