Thomas Stubbs Professional Building Level 3 Former pupil of Canon Slade School ‘The course content is great and the tutors are brilliant. I really enjoyed the module which involved designing buildings using CAD; this is something I’d like to pursue in the future. I’ve been on work experience which involved working with the team involved in refurbishing the Octagon Theatre.’
Work Experience and Industry Placements Finding a good job is difficult. Employers know they’ll have to train new staff but they’re still looking for candidates with knowledge and experience of how a workplace functions. You will complete a 30 hour work experience placement, or if you’re on a Level 3 programme, you may have the opportunity to take part in an industry placement.
