All you need to know
On pages 168-169, you’ll find a step-by-step guide to the application and admissions process.
Here, our Admissions Team also answer common questions to ensure a smooth transition to College.
HOW OFTEN ARE INTERVIEWS?
We are no longer holding interviews; we make decisions based on your qualifications on entry - in other words, your predicted grades and actual grades once your GCSE results are confirmed.
We believe it’s important you get the opportunity to see our College facilities and meet some of the tutors, so we hold Information Events every month, starting from November.
WHAT’S A CONDITIONAL OFFER?
A conditional offer guarantees you a College place if you meet certain criteria, such as specific GCSE grades. This offer will be confirmed in writing.
HOW DO I JOIN & ENROL?
Enrolment starts around Easter and we’ll email you the details. There’s no need to wait for your results, you can still accept your offer and enrol - we’ll retrieve your results from the Government website on results day.
You can also upload your results slip to your Learner Hub account. Confirmation of your place will be sent to you.
Enrol early, confirm your attendance on the College Induction, and secure your place!
