HESKETH HOUSE NEWSLETTER 16 FEBRUARY 2024

A note from the Head… It has been another busy week at Hesketh House to round off this half term. We welcomed Year 2 girls for a Taster Morning, enjoyed a fabulous Movie Night and our MFL Day added plenty of extra excitement on Thursday. Everyone has most definitely earned their half term break! I would remind you that the girls return to school on Tuesday 27 February. Mrs C Laverick School Shoes Please note that school shoes should be plain, black and flat. Shoes should be well-fitted and suitable for a busy day in school, which includes playing outside on the playground and going up and down stairs. Slip on shoes are not permitted. Boots may be worn in poor weather, but girls should then change in to shoes once they are inside. Healthy Snacks A reminder that crisps, sweets and chocolate bars or biscuits should not be brought in to School for snacks. We ask that the girls stick to fruit or vegetables if possible. We thank you for your support in this. House Cup Congratulations to Grasmere who were winners of the House Cup for this half term. Hesketh House PA Movie Night Wednesday 14 February, 4.15pm – 6.00pm Thank you very much to the Hesketh House Parents’ Association for organising a fabulous Movie Night on Wednesday. The Valentine themed film and snack boxes were very much appreciated by the girls, who really enjoyed it. MFL Day Thursday 15 February Girls enjoyed a wonderful day on Thursday, all based on the theme of France and the Paris Olympics. Activities included art, music, a quiz, mini-Olympics and the very popular French café, plus lots of language work too. A particular ‘thank you’ to Miss Eccleshare for putting together such an exciting day – merci!
