HESKETH HOUSE NEWSLETTER 21 OCTOBER 2022
A note from the Head… It is quite amazing that we are already at the end of our first half term, it has really flown by! As ever, the girls have been very busy in and out of the classroom so they have most definitely earned a break. I hope that you all enjoy some relaxing family time together over the next couple of weeks. Of course there is still much to come over the rest of the term, so do please keep an eye on our calendar, which is always included towards the end of the Newsletter. Please remember that all girls should be in winter uniform when we return to school. Mrs C Laverick

Our Year 5 and Year 6 pianists were delighted to be invited to Park Road this week, for a short lunchtime concert given by two of the visiting piano teachers. Ms Chambers and Mrs Colgan played a range of duets, which were written by Ms Chambers. Everyone was so impressed and it inspired the girls to keep working hard on developing their musical talents. Harvest Festival Assembly Wednesday 19 October Thank you very much to our Year 6 Ambassadors who presented our Harvest Festival Assembly this week. It was also nice to welcome some of our new parents in to school to enjoy this with us.

Guest speaker Mr Dave Bagley told us all a story, but left the audience in charge of making some decisions about where the plot went next. This was very amusing, but also had a serious message about how we can all make a difference to other people, depending on the choices we make; in this instance deciding to share what we have and help others.
Please use the QR code on the flyer here to book tickets for the Girls’ Division Parents’ Association ‘The Circus’ fireworks event, which is taking place on Sunday 6 November.
