A note from the Head…
Today we are looking forward to our Sports Day, and of course parents are welcome to join us! Please remember that entry is on foot, via the Sports Field Entrance off Tudor Avenue. We start at 1.15pm.
Naturally this term we all start to look to the future and this week we held our New Parent Information Evening, to talk to parents about what life will be like at Hesketh House next year for their daughters. Going forward, on Tuesday 27 June, Year 6 have an Induction Day, when they will visit the Senior School, find out their forms and meet the teachers and other pupils who will be in their class. On the same day, Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5 girls will find out their new teacher for next year and spend the morning in their new classrooms. All of the new pupils, including Year 2 from Beech House, will visit us too.
Class teachers in September will be as follows:
Year 3 Mrs Crowther and Mrs Hilton
Year 4 Mrs Bass and Mrs Worsley
Year 5 Mrs Joseph and Mrs Marsden
Year 6 Mrs Forshaw and Miss Gregson
The girls will find out which class they will be in on the move-up morning!
If you need to contact us, please direct general queries to the Hesketh House office 01204 434761 or juniorgirls@boltonschool.org.uk. Please include your daughter’s name and form on any emails.
Finally, good luck to our swimmers and chess players, who are taking part in national competitions this weekend. We will let you know how they get on in the next Newsletter.

Year 6 ESB Examinations

A group of Year 6 pupils took their English Speaking Board examinations last Friday. The girls were excellent, with the examiner giving feedback on their intellectual prowess, as well as their caring and supportive nature to one another. Well done!
