Jump Extreme
Wednesday 15 February
Pupils from across the Primary Division enjoyed an evening at Jump Xtreme, raising over £600 for our Malawi Fundraising campaign, as well as having lots of fun – thank you to everyone who came along!
The girls enjoyed a fabulous day yesterday, on a voyage of discovery about the country they have been selected to represent in our own version of Eurovision, taking place later in the year! As well as learning and performing a song, they need to produce a presentation about the country itself and learn some key words and phrases – including hello and goodbye. Final performances will be judged in a special event after the Easter holiday.

It might be a story book, a non-fiction title, a quiz book or a poetry book. Please remember to take a bookmark template from your classroom, write your name and class on it and pop it inside your book from home so that it won’t get mislaid and can be safely returned to you at the end of the day.

A group of Year 4 girls, alongside some boys from Park Road, took partin the BoltonSchools’ Hockey Festival. For most of our young players, this was their first time playing hockey. They enjoyed a quick skills session at the beginning of the event and quickly got the hang of the basics of the game, which they were then able to use during a series of short games. It was lovely to see how much everyone progressed in such a short space of time and they all left inspired to pick up a hockey stick again in the near future.
