HESKETH HOUSE NEWSLETTER 18 NOVEMBER 2022

A note from the Head…

Library Monitors

This week has been Anti-Bullying Week and our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors were very proud to show off their new jackets in assembly. This means everyone can spot them easily at playtimes and ask for their advice if they wish. They were also keen to point out to all the girls that they would be happy to be approached by anyone who might need someone to play with.

We have recently elected some Library Monitors, who will be helping to keep the library tidy. Thank you in advance to Lucy Byrom, Aisha Masood, Scarlett Ng-Finch and Aminah Seedat.

Primary Maths Challenge

Today we supported Children in Need and girls added accessories to their uniform to raise money for this worthy cause. We have raised a fantastic £338.60.

Finally, we have sent home leaflets today about the PA Christmas Party and Hamper Raffle. As well as requests for tickets, the PA are also asking for donations of items for the raffle. More information is later in the Newsletter. Thank you in advance for your support! Mrs C Laverick

Some of the Year 5 and Year 6 girls have recently taken part in the Primary Maths Challenge. Certificates for our highest scorers were give out in assembly today – 9 Bronze, 12 Silver and 10 Gold. Very well done to everyone, we will let you know if any of the girls get through to the next round.

Please make sure that any money sent in to buy tickets is put in a sealed envelope and handed in to the school office. We hope to make a variety of different hampers – luxury food hampers, pamper hampers, children’s hampers, chocolate hampers etc. Popular ideas include seasonal sweets, biscuits and chocolates, Christmas puddings and cakes, wine and luxury toiletries.
