HESKETH HOUSE NEWSLETTER 9 SEPTEMBER 2022
A note from the Head…
Year 6 Ambassadors
I hope that you have all enjoyed a restful summer break.
Year 6 girls all have the opportunity to represent the School as Ambassadors, taking on extra responsibilities in many areas. This term our Ambassadors are:
It was lovely to see the girls back in School this week and I offer a warm welcome to those families who are new to Hesketh House. I am sure that you will have a very positive experience, but if you do ever have any concerns please let us know. Hopefully, part of your preparation for the return to School has been to purchase and label all of the uniform and equipment required. I would stress how important it is for items to be named, as things are regularly misplaced and this makes it much easier to return them. I would also remind you that all girls must have their coat in School every day.

Our Newsletter is emailed to parents each Friday and we hope that you will find it interesting and informative. As well as reporting on events and celebrating achievements, we also give information about future activities and publish our diary dates. Please keep an eye on our calendar as we do have a very busy year planned! Finally, please could I remind you that if you need to contact School this should be done via the Hesketh House Office by telephone 01204 434761 or email juniorgirls@boltonschool.org. Mrs C Laverick Her Majesty The Queen We were all saddened to hear the news of the death of Her Majesty The Queen yesterday. This morning we held a special assembly and reflected on her long life of service to our country. We also talked about some of the highlights and special moments during her reign.
Parent Information Evening Monday 19 September, 7.00pm All parents are invited to attend the Parent Information Evening on Monday 19 September. This is an opportunity to meet with the class teachers to find out more about general School routines, as well as specific information relating to each particular year group. In addition, Mrs Kyle will be present to talk to Year 6 parents about the transition to the Senior School, the Entrance Examination and admissions process in particular. This is a very useful event and I would urge all parents to attend if they possibly can. Twitter Please follow us on twitter @BSPDJnrGirls.
