HESKETH HOUSE NEWSLETTER 1 JULY 2022
A note from the Head… The Summer Concert on Tuesday this week was a real highlight of the term. The girls had worked so hard on their songs, poems, narration and dance and really enjoyed performing for an audience of family and friends. We hope that you enjoyed it too! Also this week, we have had the Year 5 trip to Chester Zoo, members of our Eco Committee attended the Youth Environment Summit and lots of pupils from across Primary Division had a great time at our fundraising session at Jump Xtreme. Year 6 girls have also enjoyed their Leavers’ Celebration Event. There is still plenty going on next week, including a visit to see The Lost Words for every class – don’t forget the girls should come in their own clothes on that day. We also have a Year 5 trip to Urban Outreach, Year 6 will attend the Bolton Children’s Fiction Awards and they will also be running a Charity Afternoon on Wednesday. We have House Rounders on Thursday and then our various end of term celebrations on the last day. The girls will be ready for the summer holiday I think! Mrs C Laverick Sickness Please do not send your daughter in to School if she is unwell. We have a few cases of Covid and a sickness bug doing the rounds at the moment and we need your support in stopping the spread of these viruses. I would remind you that the current recommendation is three days off following a positive Covid test and anyone with sickness or diarrhoea should not be in school for 48 hours. If your daughter has a raised temperature she should be kept at home. Twitter Please follow us on twitter @BSPDJnrGirls.
