During BOMA Georgia’s Fall Free Seminar, three recent graduates from BOMA’s Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Leadership Masters Program will present solutions to challenges using the leadership concepts and practices gained during the course. These solutions were presented as part of their final project for graduation. In addition to these presentations, our three presenters will be joined by other members of the inaugural CRE Leadership Masters Program to share their experience in the program and answer questions about their leadership journey.

Understand the inner workings of boilers, burners, controls, fittings, valves, and pumps, as well as how they connect and interrelate. Learn how to operate and maintain steam, hot water, warm air, and radiant heating systems, as well as the principles of mathematics essential to operating these building systems. Please select your BOMI Enrollment Status (This section is required for registration) BOMI Designation Enrollment Fee: I wish to pursue a BOMI designation. Year 2016 Exceptions: First time enrollees to the HP certificate program pay only $100. Any professional who passes the Foundations of Real Estate Management course (BOMA Georgia’s Property Management 101) and registers for at least one RPA designation course within 90 days of completing their exam will not have to pay the $175 RPA designation program enrollment fee!

Allied Member Resource Group (AMRG)

Serves as the representative body for allied members and creates a supportive interaction between regular and allied members. Meets four times during the year.

Awards Committee

Plans and conducts an annual awards program to recognize individuals for their contributions to the association and the industry. Meets one time in January.

BOMA Technical Organization

Develops and provides programs for building engineers. Meets throughout the year.

Community Service Committee

Researches community needs and develops plans to assist. Meets throughout the year.

Editorial Board

Determines the theme for each quarterly issue of Insight magazine and suggests ideas and topics. Meets quarterly.

Government Affairs Committee

Monitors studies and recommends policy and advocacy strategies on legislative and regulatory matters affecting real estate. Meets throughout the year, mainly during the state legislative session.

Membership Committee

Plans and conducts ongoing membership recruitment and retention programs. Meets throughout the year.

Professional Development Council

Approves professional development programs and guides development of programs for young professionals and ensures RPA,

Sports Outing Committee

2016 Shared Interest Groups (SIGs) All real estate professionals, with some restrictions. Young Professionals

BOMA Georgia’s Young Professionals Shared Interest Group (YP SIG) is for individuals 35 years old and under who are interested in advancing their careers in the commercial real estate industry.

Medical Office Building Managers (Not open to vendors/service providers) The Medical Office Building Shared Interest Group (MOB SIG) is organized to address the specific interests of medical office building managers and engineers.

Green Real Estate Network

The Green Real Estate Network is for professionals who are interested in increasing their knowledge of green and sustainable practices. Members of this group will receive invitations to green breakfasts and be the first to know about green and sustainable course offerings from BOMA Georgia.

Industrial (Not open to vendors/service providers) The Industrial Shared Interest Group (Industrial SIG) is geared solely to the needs and interests of industrial real estate managers.

Facilities Management (Not open to vendors/service providers) The Facilities Management Shared Interest Group (FM SIG)addresses the important issues and big questions of Facilities Management property professionals.

Plans and supports the annual BOMA Georgia Sports Outing and meets June through October.

TOBY Judging Committee

Judges and select winners for The Outstanding Building of the Year Awards. Meets in January.

Trade Show Committee

Plans and supports the BOMA Georgia Trade Show and meets January through May.
