UPCOMING EVENTS... Fall Free Seminar: Increasing Conflict Competence

Compete in the 2018 TOBY Competition!

Tools to Resolve Unchecked Conflict in the Commercial Real Estate World THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2017 In our culture, “conflict” often carries a negative connotation. When two or more people are gathered into a group, conflict exists. A certain level of conflict and tension are required for an organization to grow and indicates a healthy exchange of ideas and creativity. However, unchecked conflict can result in employee / tenant dissatisfaction, reduced productivity, poor service to clients, and increased chance of litigation based on claims of harassment. In short, unchecked conflict can lead to a toxic environment. SPEAKER: Mark Morris has almost 30 years of experience in business working to help teams stay together, become more engaged, and get stronger. He is currently the Talent Acquisition Manager for Kinetix, a Recruiting, Staffing, and HR Consulting firm for high growth companies. BOMA Georgia Members: FREE | Non-members: $99 | $10 Late Fee for member registrations after Sept. 22 l Non-members $109 for registration after Sept. 22.

During the competitions, all facets of a building’s operations are thoroughly evaluated. Buildings are judged on everything from community involvement and site management to environmental and “green” policies and procedures. Are you thinking about entering 2018 TOBY competition? Learn more about the steps to enter. Follow the steps here: HTTP://BIT.LY/TOBY18
