Since the BOMA Georgia Foundation’s launch in 2014, hundreds have sung the praises of the Foundation when it comes to advancing real estate education and research. To date, the Foundation has funded 162 scholarships, five research projects and one white paper. Additionally, the BOMA Georgia Foundation is hosting the BOMA Southern Region’s 2017 Southern Region Conference. All proceeds raised from this event will go directly into fulfilling the Foundation’s mission. Here are three important takeaways we want to share with you about the Foundation’s Impact on our industry.
1. Apply for Foundation Scholarships or Funding
2. Purchase Foundation Research
The BOMA Georgia Foundation advances real estate education through awarding scholarships and providing revolving funds for real estate professionals to use to support their enrollment in designation and certificate professional development programs. The Revolving Fund is an ongoing program, but those who wish to apply for Foundation scholarships must do so before the May 31, 2017 deadline.
BOMA Georgia Foundation research provides tools to real estate professionals that add value to the properties they own, manage, and operate. The Foundation’s research studies and white papers also help real estate professionals and companies stay competitive in the continually evolving real estate marketplace.
