This program reviews building system contributions to high-performance operations, building systems and commissioning, benchmarking metrics, energy use for lighting, electrical system efficiency and control systems, integrated building management systems and resolving integrated system comfort issues.

MEMBERS ONLY A unique and effective educational resource specifically designed for BOMA Georgia allied members that also creates a supportive interaction between regular and allied members. The AMRG meets about four times per year. Develops and provides programs for building engineers. The BTO meets throughout the year.
Researches community needs and develops plans to assist. The CSC meets throughout the year. Raises funds for the BOMA Georgia Foundation through securing volunteers and donations for foundation fundraising events, promoting lobby events and electronic recycling donations, as well as individual and corporate giving to the Foundation. Meets as needed throughout the year. Monitors, studies and recommends policy and advocacy strategies on legislative and regulatory matters that affect the commercial real estate industry. The GAC meets throughout the year, most heavily during the state legislative session at the beginning of each year.
INDUSTRY INSIGHT
Exercises think-tank and brainstorming exercises throughout the year to assist in the development of programming and editorial content for the association. The IIC meets throughout the year.
MEMBERSHIP
Plans and conducts the ongoing membership recruitment and retention programs of the association. This committee is also responsible for implementing new member engagement strategies. The Membership Committee meets four to five times per year.
TOBY TRADE SHOW
Plans and conducts the activities leading to the selection of The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Awards, including the Earth Award. The TOBY Committee meets one time in December or January of each year. Performs various duties in support of and in preparation for the annual BOMA Georgia Trade Show. These duties include advising and recommending improvements to the Trade Show; selecting the show theme; organizing the Silent Auction; and providing volunteer assistance the day of the show. The Trade Show Committee meets several times from January through May of each year.

SHARED INTEREST GROUPS & SECTIONS FACILITIES RESOURCE GROUP*
The Facilities Resource Group is organized to address the specific needs of Facilities Management professionals. This SIG provides networking and education opportunities directed to the unique needs and interests of Facility Managers. SIG members will meet quarterly for lunch and discussion of a topic of interest to the facilities management sector.

The Green Interests Section includes professionals who are interested in increasing their knowledge of green and sustainable practices. Members of this section will receive invitations to green programming and will be the first to know about green and sustainable course offerings from BOMA Georgia.

MEDICAL OFFICE* YOUNG PROFESSIONALS
The Industrial Shared Interest Group (Industrial SIG) is geared solely to the needs and interests of industrial real estate managers. The Industrial SIG meets quarterly for lunch and discussion of a topic of interest to the industrial real estate sector. These meetings provide a forum for industrial real estate professionals to collaborate and learn from their counterparts; network and understand their competitive landscape; learn new tactics for handling common issues; and identify industrial suppliers. The Medical Office Section includes commercial real estate professionals interested in the specific needs of medical office building managers and engineers. Members of this section will occasionally receive invitations to medical office programming and will be the first to know about seminars and discussions concerning medical office management issues, as well as new and emerging medical office trends and challenges and the impacts of legislative changes. For individuals who are 35 years old and under and interested in advancing their careers in the commercial real estate industry. Members attend special events that focus on networking and professional development. *Not open to service partners or members of the allied industry.
