The scholarship supplemented Moule’s educational budget and allowed her to attend an extra class in 2015. This opportunity put Moule one step closer to achieving her designation. Advancing real estate education is a primary focus of the BOMA Georgia Foundation. A well-educated workforce is something the real estate industry needs to remain competitive, increase tenant and owner satisfaction and realize a profitable return on investment. Because of Foundation scholarships, professionals like Moule are enhancing their careers, and in turn, bringing more value to their buildings, owners and tenants.

Embedded Scholarships Increase Access, Save Money The “BANG” for your educational buck!
In 2015, anyone who registered for a SMT/SMA designation course, or who registered for the Budgeting and Accounting course for RPA candidates received a $500 embedded scholarship. This means that course costs were rolled back nearly 50 percent for these courses. The typical cost for a BOMA member to enroll in each of these five courses was $1,035 per course; but this year, that cost was just $535 per course for students. This offer from the Foundation helped many companies like yours place their engineers and building managers on a career path that not only benefited their individual long-term success, but also the success of your company. For more details on the BOMA Georgia Foundation or to make a donation, please visit www.BOMAGeorgiaFoundation.org. Additional information on designation schedules and course offerings for 2016 will be shared soon via the BOMA Georgia website, as well as the upcoming Professional Development Guide. Stay tuned!
